Pros: Great friendly folks to work with at agency. No problems with car, even with their poor roads that take a toll on the cars. Very pleased.

Pros: Easy going, Friendly staff- easy airport drop off. Good island vehicle, no problems of any kind. Renting a car in Antigua is a different experience than renting in the USA. Just slow down and roll with it on 'Island Time'. I recommend taking the full insurance. Cost an additional $20. usd per day but you don't want to be dealing with vehicle damage in the Islands.
Cons: Tires a bit worn but not bad for island vehicle. The car was fine, it's the roads that are in tough shape.

Cons: We got to Antigua and we're told that we could only get the car we booked for more money because they have overbooked. They made a mistake and then they wanted us to pay more money for what we booked. It took us over 2 hours to figure out a different car and to pay a couple hundred more for it.
We will never go with budget again.

Junkiest rental I've ever had
Pros: The A/C worked good.
Cons: Car was ancient with over 47,000 miles. Wheels were a mismatched and mis-sized set of balding tires. Brakes squeaked. Radio didn't work. Didn't have a jack until I noticed and asked for one. When I didn't use the car for a day, the battery light came on (but at least still started). And this was the better car I got when I returned the first car they gave me because the speedometer didn't work and the engine light was on.
Pros: 3dr Rav4,Car was rugged and prefect for the narrow, pot hole filled roads of the island. The rental office is in a small building just south of the terminal, don't expect much. Except expect nice people that will get you going and loaded up for your island adventure.

Car rented was not same category as car booked
Cons: I booked through your platform a SUV 4 door, 5 pax, 4 bags. I got the smallest existing 4WD (Suzuki Jimny) 3 pax , 2 bags. I had booked this one a bit more expensive than others offering for the size . very dissapointing . It does not seem to be Thrifty's fault, but Kayak's.
Pros: Car was filthy, bad breaks ans suspension. Our hotel concierge had them bring us a new car which was better but that says very little. I would recommned having your resort book a car for you- they seem to get better cars.
