Pickup and drop off went smoothly. No problems.

Cons:

The van was not washed before rental. Windows and mirrors were so dirty, I had to spend 15 minutes cleaning them before I could start my journey.

The car was excellent. Easy and comfortable driving

Cons:

The Hertz office in Lady Lake (The Villages) was a very bad experience. We had to wait for about 1 hr for the understaffed office to clean a car for a person in front of us and to clean our car. Knowing we were coming to pick up the car, it should have been ready! Further, the inside was nice and clean but the outside was very dirty. I paid for a carwash before I left FL. Also, the office was very soiled looking and tacky. The pick up experience was quite annoying.

The 2 guys working there were very rude, when I got there told me they dont have any vehicles available, had to spend $50 for uber rides, these two guys should not be in customer service, I will never go back and wouldnt reccomend to anyone!

We were handled with proficiency and excellence. I was renting a vehicle or Mr son and his family to ge back home on after the holidays. I we have impressed with our agent (who happened to be the manager of that Budget location)- he really knew how to get things done. It was busy there but I thought he handled everyone well and efficiently with care.

They could have cleaned the car before we picked it up. The inside and outside was dirty. I found Gatorade bottles in the back the van wasn't vacuumed. When we went to drop it off they made us vacuum it out because he said there was pet hair on the carpet (isn't that your job) he was very rude and was Persistent, that we had a pet in the van.
