The hotel is located just outside of Stow-on-the-Wold and within quick distance of Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Chipping Camden. The racecourse at Cheltenham is only a 30-minute drive from the hotel. The 4-star establishment is less than 40 miles from Birmingham International Airport and offers 60 non-smoking rooms and suites.

There are three different buildings at this hotel which each offers its own style of rooms. The Manor House is an 18th century home with classic charm where Feature Rooms are located. The modern extension holds the Garden Rooms. The Orangery is a single story building across from the Manor House and includes rooms with private patios. The Coach House was originally a stable and now offers the Coach House Rooms.

The restaurant at this hotel is traditional and intimate with 50 covers in the sunny conservatory with views of the estate. Classic dishes are served along with lunch and an afternoon tea. The Library and Bar area are informal dining spaces with open fires and oak paneled walls. Other restaurants in the area include the Old Bakery Tearoom, Cotswold Baguettes, and the Hive.
