staff has no service mind. On the last day of stay my flight is on late evening . We kept our luggage at front office. When we return to pick up our luggage and asked for using rest room but she refused even if I informed she that we just check out this morning. She ignore our require for using rest room that is very bad impression.
Horrible customer service! Very rude! There is no hotel parking so you'll need to find and pay for street parking or parking structure...Good luck! Never staying there again!
Close to train.
No hot water, be warned.
Low cost, minimal extras.
You get what you pay for
This place is a bit rundown and shabby, but if you just need a place to sleep after a long day, where you plan on getting up and out early the next - it's tolerable. Cheapest place I could find on a busy weekend. Close to the red line so you can travel thoughout the city without your car.
No parking, no elevator, questionable cleanliness. Entire place needs fumigated cleaned, modernized and updated.
The Chinatown Hotel Chicago is an inexpensive and convenient hotel that is located in Chinatown in Chicago. There are many things to see and do in this part of Chicago. This location gives guests somewhere to stay that is close to things they’ll want to do, but at a fraction of the cost that other hotels go for.
The hotel’s lobby is open 24 hours a day so if guests need something there is always someone there. There are 46 rooms that range from a single to a suite, and a double room that has two beds. These rooms don’t have a lot of space, so it might be hard to stay at the Chinatown Hotel Chicago for those who are traveling with children. Rooms have free WiFi, TVs, air conditioning, and small writing desks in some of them.
There is a common area that has a refrigerator and microwave that all guests are permitted to use. Not far away is Chinatown Square Plaza. This area is chockfull of restaurants and markets. It’s a great place for guests to find meals. There are other areas that are great for dining too.
Chicago has many things to see. The Navy Pier is a must for visitors to this city. It’s on the coast of Lake Michigan. It has bars and restaurants. There’s a giant Ferris Wheel there. There’s great shopping, shows, and museums in that area. Millennium Park should be another stop on most guests’ itineraries. Visitors can check out all of the art pieces that are on display in the park, including the iconic Cloud Gate.
The Chinatown Hotel Chicago is a good option for business travelers and leisure travelers who don’t need a ton of space, and who want to stay in the heart of Chicago without paying high city prices.
