I was forced to valet because the valet said there was not an option to self park, but then other guest were allowed to self park that arrived after I did. Rooms were not very clean.

The location is perfect an being directly on the beach was awesome. We lived the pools and the ease of bring able to walk to everything. The design of the hotel could have been better. All we could hear from out balcony were the air-conditioning units. Also the beds, room, and bathroom were pretty tight quarters for mom, dad, and a 7 and 5 year old.

Cons (-) Room service. We ate a late lunch/early dinner and ended up ordering food and a bottle of wine from room service around 9:30pm our first night. They told us it would be ready in 30-35 minutes. They never brought the order and when we called in to check on it they did not answer. Cons (-) -$20/day hotel fee seems excessive for what is provided within that -Apparently they're very strict on coolers in the pool area. Was forced to remove ours. Not the end of the world, but just their way to try and make you buy their food and drinks which were average, and of course overpriced. Cons (-) Hallway carpets were dirty and stained, room wasn't completely cleaned (dust around certain areas, empty candy wrappers next to bed). No place to hang your towel in bathroom. Some noise was around the hotel in the afternoon when my 3 yr old was taking her nap.

Pros (+) I liked the closeness to the beach and shopping/ restaurants. I also enjoyed the beach bar and restaurant.
Cons (-) I did not like the poorly cleaned and outdated rooms. The pillows and beds were the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. For $400 I would have loved to stay at a way nicer hotel.
