Cons (-) Restaurant very poor. Food cold. Bar advertised martinis in the vault named for famous bank robbers . Bartender did not have a clue. They should clean up their advertising.

Pros (+) With hurricane Florence approaching the Gov of South Carolina declared a state of emergency. The roads were reversed for evacuation routes and we could not get to the hotel. The hotel would not refund our reservation. Total rip off and the manager could care less.

Pros (+) The staff was very nice, and the bed was wonderful! Rooms very clean
Cons (-) Parking was not included in the price of your room. Valet was $22 a night, or you could park your own car for $16 a day in the parking garage. We got in at two in the morning, so this was kind of a problem, as I decided to park at the meter due to the expense. Breakfast is not included in the price of the hotel, although there are several restaurants around the hotel.

Cons (-) Old, dirty, creaky floors, rusting hinges, noisy, etc. The housekeeping staff (and using that term for them is a stretch) was the rudest, kst inconsiderate I have ever encountered.
