Don’t stay here
With hurricane Florence approaching the Gov of South Carolina declared a state of emergency. The roads were reversed for evacuation routes and we could not get to the hotel. The hotel would not refund our reservation. Total rip off and the manager could care less.
Great stopover for our trip
Nice vault bar for weary travelers
This hotel has a ton to offer and the price is right
The help the staff was able to do or the suggestion if they could not
It could use a little bit better maintenance team
The staff was very nice, and the bed was wonderful! Rooms very clean
Parking was not included in the price of your room. Valet was $22 a night, or you could park your own car for $16 a day in the parking garage. We got in at two in the morning, so this was kind of a problem, as I decided to park at the meter due to the expense. Breakfast is not included in the price of the hotel, although there are several restaurants around the hotel.
Valet was pricey for Columbia
Charm in Central Location
Stop by the rooftop bar at sunset for the best view of Columbia.
Old, dirty, creaky floors, rusting hinges, noisy, etc. The housekeeping staff (and using that term for them is a stretch) was the rudest, kst inconsiderate I have ever encountered.
Definitely worth the stay. Updated rooms in old historic building.
good workout facility
hard to get a hold of staff TV reception horrible
Excellent location and very clean!
We really liked the atmosphere and the friendly staff. They made our stay very comfortable. The farmer's market on Saturday morning was a special treat with many great food options.
In room breakfast was a bad experience
Valet was great , very prompt and courteous.
Overall bad experience.Staff not personable. Room very cold and not very clean,(found hair in bath tub) Valet staff very nice. Breakfast room service disappointing. I will not recommend to friends and family
