Pros: Friendly and welcoming Hotel. Superb alpine vista from rooms with balcony overlooking meadows to Tofana Mastiff. Excellent bed, bathroom and breakfast. Good carparking and a medium stroll from central Cortina.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely and clean. Alpine style rooms ours was No 55 with a double & single bed with a glass door to a wooden balcony with stunning views across the valley to the Dolomites and you can also see the church & bell tower. Shops, food and gifts are a 15 min walk away. The Co operative is good for food, gifts and household goods also Christmas things!! Off road parking at the back of the property. Staff were helpful & friendly.
Cons: Personal view- the en suite is too galley like for me, when both of you are in there you have to manoeuvre past if one of you is at the basin to get to the bidet, loo & shower, which is a good size. It does have a window so is light and airy. Slightly dated tiles etc BUT spotlessly clean and beautifully kept.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Villa Gaia is a family owned hotel so the whole team was very caring for us. They were all very kind and helpful, they gave us great advice about the possible hikes near Cortina. The situation of the hotel is ideal, just a few minutes walk from the center of Cortina. It's super peaceful and the view over the mountains from our room was stunning. The breakfast was great and the room where we ate was really lovely with its cute mountain cabin decor.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: PERFECTION OF SERVICE!!! One of the most wonderful & perfect experiences we have had in any hotel around the world. The staff is so perfectly trained and selected that their service is not only friendly, courteous, and kind, but also impressively intuitive. They think of anything and everything you might need and want. Service is a delight! It is not often that I remember the names of staff members at hotels we stay, but in this case I will always remember the amazing service in all of these instances: When greeted and personally escorted to our room by Dario who has incredible soft skills and provides outstanding service! When served by Stefano and Giuseppe during our breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Their friendliness, politeness, and intuition was admirable! Every time we were perfectly assisted by Antonio, in charge of valet parking! When we checked out assisted by Diana, who was highly accommodating with our special requests. Even our massage with Piergiorgio was perfect. He was also intuitive, professional, with healing hands and obviously highly trained in massage therapy. Oberoi, Aman, St. Regis, and Mandarin Oriental, among others, strive to provide service this high, usually never reaching this perfection. Congratulations Cristallo!!!!! We can’t wait to be back.

Pros: Spacious and well layout room close walk to pedestrian area
Cons: Poor wifi connection Breakfast was average -have stayed in 3/4 stars hotels in dolomites with much better selections For a 5 star hotel in a ski town, I'm surprised there was no complimentary hotel shuttle to ski lifts. The hotel is 3 km from the Parco dei Dolomiti National Park and a 5-minute drive from the Centro Cortina Ice Rink. Free parking is available on site.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Owner was wonderful and very helpful to us esp. with our onward travel plans. Breakfast was delightful and plentiful. Beds were comfy and room large.
Cons: I booked standard room and wish I had upgraded. The room was spotless but faced road and because if road noise the windows had to be closed all night so got little stuffy. Also shower was tiny. Newer rooms appeared to be perfect.
7.9 Good
Pros: The lady receptionist is very friendly and lovely to talk to. She is the best asset the hotel has I would say. The hotel location. The resort itself is fantastic. The price of the room was very good for the size of the room. I would recommend staying at this hotel.
Cons: The decor is a bit dated, didn’t really get that impression from booking.com. The views from the suite are more rooftop than mountains, fine for me, but just temper your expectations! The bath tap switch didn’t quite work - water only came out of the shower head unless you held the button down. The male staff seemed a bit grumpy in general, especially when they ran out of boiled eggs and we asked for more . Breakfast was good but there are not hot items available and it is the same every day, this is normal though. All that said, it is a nice hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, comfortable beds, great breakfast. We can't fault it and would not hesitate to come back.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really nice to us.
Cons: It's an expensive stay for a third world country citizen.
6.7 Good
Pros: Very nice property, well maintained and recently renovated. Location is just a couple blocks walk to Cortina's pedestrian area. Very spacious suite with nice amenities.
Cons: Recently renovated room had a strong wood smell that needs some time to air out. Upper floor gets quite warm (temps in 70's) and there is no forced ventilation of any kind. When the windows are closed it is dead quiet but the street noise is very intrusive if you choose to leave a window open. Sleeping was difficult as a result.

Pros: Everything was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic service- the staff were truly kind and helpful. The property is beautiful and the spa and gym are great
Cons: Nothing, loved all of it
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We turned up like a pair of drowned rats after a solid day of hiking in the rain. They welcomed us with open arms, a man came out with an umbrella to cover us as we got out the car and walked us in. Then as we checked in he parked the car in the underground car park and brought our bags to our room. That set the tone, and the standard of service which continued throughout our stay at the hotel. They keep it professional without overstepping into familiarity which I think is what their typical clientele want, to be expected from a 5 star hotel - although a bit stiff for a couple of youngsters like us. They have done a splendid job of the design and fitout of the hotel. It feels rich, luxurious and warm, with much much ambient lighting, chrome and use of natural materials such as limestone, (connection to rosapetra?) wood and rusty tones from the surrounding landscape. The spa/pools/saunas are beautiful, with great views of the surrounding mountains. It really was a great way to unwind after a morning/afternoon hike on the mountains. The rooms are again highly specified and fitted out and have more light switches than an airport control tower to set the mood.
Cons: Our stay wasn’t without some annoyances though. 1) Our view had an extremely poor view directly into the underside of the eaves of the hotel. Luckily view is something you get plenty of in the other parts of the hotel or this would have been a problem. 2) we could only find 1 working English speaking channel on the TV. 3) to counter this we decided to spend some time at the bar around 9pm one evening. It wasn’t manned which was ok, but when we had to get up, walk to find someone and ask for the menu for a second time to order our second drinks, no one came back to take our order, they were all too busy getting the restaurant ready for breakfast in the morning. Instead of getting up and trying to find someone for a third time we just went to bed instead. It’s not what you expect when you are paying €14 a glass.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good service, good location, decent breakfast. I forgot my shirt during my stay, and I called up two weeks later they found my stuff within the day and sent it back to me by post! Amazing service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: hotel facility, staff, location.
Cons: Initial room booked too small for a 5 night stay so up graded
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location, walk into town, beautiful spa and large gym. Food was good.
Cons: Junior suite had large beams immediately overhead the bed. We both hit our heads a couple of times.
5.0 Okay
Cons: The room had no ventilation. It was very hot all night. There was construction going on as early as 7 AM. There is lots of noise in the morning from the construction. The construction obstruct the view.
7.5 Good
Pros: Pool and spa area very relaxing
Cons: Could of had more variety at breakfast and cooked food not filled up even though we were there 9am

6.7 Good
Pros: On a summer’s day this is a nice 30 minute walk to dinner in town- lovely for summer, but i wouldn’t want to do it another time. Lovely spa/pool and comfortable room.
Cons: Tricky turn when driving to hotel as you can easily pass the hotel. The hotel is also a good walk to town and they don’t have frequent public buses.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Divine fit out with incredible Mountain Views from the room, pool and spa facilities were exceptional, brilliant massage, beautiful breakfast spread. Loved it!!!!
Cons: Road noise if windows open but exceptionally well sound proofed if closed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and spa was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When asked if we could have a room with a view they upgraded our room at no extra cost. The hotel is nicely placed as a base for walking in the mountains around Cortina.
Cons: I especially chose a deluxe double with a balcony assuming that there would be some kind of view of the Dolomites. Unfortunately the first room they gave us (although nicely fitted out) had a balcony which was North facing and looking out on a hill with the hotel extension straight behind. As mentioned before they very quickly changed rooms for us when we asked if another was available. Also, although the hotel blurb says that there is a free shuttle bus, this appears only to run in the winter (ski) months. It is a good 15 min walk into centre of Cortina.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quite cheap prices for bar, very helpful staff, big sweet free apples on the reception
Cons: Location. Just near noisy main road in 30 min walking to the center. But just near bus station: only 3 stops to the Cortina. Bus goes near hotel every hour. Taxi from the center cost 12,5 eur. Breakfast is normal, not more

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This apartment located very near to cable car station and city center. All the equipment for cooking and eating is well prepared. (except salt, pepper...) even there was dish washer and they supplied detergent (which was really great). our room was upgraded, and had a fantastic view, large living room, and large balcony. we loved it! This hotel shares spa and wellness center with a luxurious hotel across the road, so the wellness area was also luxurious. Shower towel, gowns, sleepers are prepared. Swimming cap is mandatory in pools and jacuzzi but if you don't have it, they sell it for only 3 euros. They have hammam, finnish sauna, .. and so on, and also relaxing area. We also loved it. They also had two MTB and two electric bikes, which can be rented for 3 hours for free, but unfortunately due to bad weather, we had no chance to use those. Room was clean and new, the cleaning service was perfect, the staffs were friendly. There are umbrellas to rent, we used it very gladly. We loved every part of this hotel. Definitely will use it again, if there is a chance. Parking is 15 euros per day, had many spaces. located below the hotel across the road, you have to ask first for the code to open the gate of parking lot. Recommend first unload everything at the gate then park the car. because it is slightly far from the parking lot to the room.
Cons: Nothing!
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel location is great within walking distance to the shopping and restaurants area. Small but comfortable rooms.
Cons: No Air conditions! In the mid of the summer this is a problem.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location in a wonderful Ski town. We stayed here the night before starting our Alta Via 1 Trek through the Dolomites. It has an amazing spa. The room and beds were comfortable, and the kitchen equipped enough
Cons: The only problem was the reception to check out didn't open until 0900. We had to depart early that morning to catch a bus to Lago Di Braise. So the checkout process turned into an ordeal that we have not yet completely settled...

Pros: Everything. The staff is super nice, the bedroom was spacious and very comfortable, with a very comfy bed. We went mainly to use the spa after a hiking day, and it didn't disappoint. It's not a huge spa but has everything that's needed, the only downside is the hot tub has very soft jets, but it's still nice to relax the muscles. The breakfast is great, it has a very ample selection of pastries and local products and you can also order pancakes and eggs freshly made.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Food, Scenery
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The refugio was out of the main town abit which we prefer as it was quiet. They provide a restaurant and a bus stops there for town which compensates for the distance. It is on the main road (easy to find) and the windows blocked out any road noise. It is only 30 min drive from Tre Crime national park. The breakfast was terrific with a wide range of choices.
Cons: Although the room was huge the shower was very small and didn't drain properly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Foods are very delicious. Especially, croissants were the most delicious croissants in my trip. They upgraded my room to double room, so it was fantastic.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, warm hospitality, outstanding food, and lovely accommodation blending the history of the site with modern amenities. We were ecstatic to have stumbled upon this gem!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location to lake misurina and tre cime la lavaredo. Spacious room and good restaurant.
Cons: Some of the staff members were not kind and indifferent and I felt I was not welcomed. It could have been better if they had been nice enough to explain to me some famous places to visit and recommendable trails near the hotel. As a foreigner who went to Dolomites for the first time, isn't it better to get some information from the people who live there instead of getting a map and being told that every place and routes are on the map? I had to figure out where to go and what to do on my own. It seemed that they were more focused on the restaurant than the tourists who stay there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent (although the road next to it can be a bit noisy depending on your room). The hotel decoration is really nice and the hotel in itself is very tidy.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here the night before starting the Alta via 1. Hotels nearer to Lago di Braies were booked. The hotel is very clean and nice in a mountain hotel way. Service was good as was dinner. It's about 15-20 minutes outside Cortina and both bus services stop across the street. It's a good alternative to staying in Cortina or Dobiacco.
7.9 Good
Pros: We were here only one night on our roadtrip. This place was nice. We had a big room with great views. Hotel restaurant was excellent!
Cons: Breakfast table was quite empty and small.

Pros: Plenty of room. Very clean and a great bathroom. Great view of the mountains from our balcony. Good breakfast in the morning.
Cons: Leaving
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast - cheese, meat, eggs, bread, yogurts, coffee etc. Nice view from the balcony - river, city and mountains. Nice location - 15 minutes walk from cortina center.
Cons: No fridge in the room, neighbour bathroom adjacent to bedroom. No lunch/dinner in the hotel. Only 1 free wall socket to plug electronics - you have to unplug lamps/tv to use more plugs.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Small, well-kept and cosy B&B type of hotel close to the centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Located just outside the city centre this place was easy to reach and performed well as we stayed there for hiking and biking during late July. Rooms were clean and modern bathrooms were nicely renovated. We had room no 12 on the first floor and it was quiet and had a great balcony towards the stream and around the corner. The bed was quite hard, but extremely comfy (one of the best sleeps I've had). Breakfast was good and service also.
Cons: Everything worked well! Only small minus was the coffee - would have expected to have superb italian coffee instead of machinery.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The host is really nice and friendly. Tidy room has gorgeous view with a terrace. Very good location and takes about 15 minutes walking to the town. Free parking and breakfast is all right with enough choice of food.
Cons: If there is s kettle for tea or coffee, that would be perfect. Blanket is not so good but the bed is comfortable. No elevator and it would be difficult if you carry large luggage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful in advising us about places to see and hikes to do. The breakfast was delicious.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very good personal service and helpful advice from the principals. Nearby restaurant provided the best meal of our entire holiday in Italy. Excellent design of bathroom and cozy design. Good quality of bed linen and towels, beyond usual 3 Star.quality. Ample on site parking !!
Cons: No elevator is a challenge with heavy cases and not on ground floor.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Villa Nevada was a very positive experience. Very friendly staff always ready to help and answer our questions. Villa Nevada is only a short walk from the city center. Overlooking a river and situated with great view to the mountains. Breakfast was very good and served in a small dining room. Great coffee :) A quiet and very nice hotel.
Cons: Not much - all in all a very positive experience. We would stay here again if we get the chance.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: The bathroom was difficult for me to use as there was no dedicated shower and I am unable to use s bath

Pros: Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Spa was a bonus.
Cons: It was a bit out of town. No footpath on first section along road into town although you could go on a slight detour across the road to get to a path.

Cons: Rooms are a bit small. But you can fit 4!

Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: Too far from the main town. Our room was dark and faced the street.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Really great breakfast selection, one of the best we had on our holiday, stayed at 6 hotels. Easy 10 min walk to town, great view from room at rear of hotel. Beautiful little garden. Parking. Traditional local decor but really comfy room.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Both breakfast and location were OK.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very comprehensive and yummy. The room was clean and neat. The staff were very friendly. It's a very good place to stay.
Cons: There was nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My third visit. Confirmed my opinion that this is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in the Italian Dolomites (and over the years, I've stayed at quite a few). Breakfast is superb. Almost everything you'd want, and fresh, every day. Ample car parking, and a good location, about 15 minutes walk from the very centre of Cortina. The road outside is popular and can be noisy, but not first thing in the day, or in the evening. Staff are charming and friendly. The reliable consistency of its high standards is what makes this hotel stand out. It is rightly popular.
Cons: Nothing at all. That's what draws me back to this hotel whenever I have the opportunity to stay in Cortina
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were comfy and quiet, breakfast was very good, nice spa facilities.
Cons: Not much to complain about as long as you can walk into town center (not very long).

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent dinner and breakfast. Parking place facing the hotel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at hotel Trieste was very comfortable. The room with balcony had an amazing view of the Dolomites! The location was excellent. The Cortina bus station was 8-10 minutes away by walking. There is a supermarket just in front of the hotel and a number good restaurants and a pharmacy nearby . The hotel restaurant served delicious food too. The hotel staff put special attention to cater to our needs. Very happy with the friendly and helpful attitude of the hosts. They were also super helpful in planning our trip and guiding us to the tourist attractions. All in all a very pleasant experience.
Cons: There wasn't anything to dislike about the hotel. But the breakfast could have been a bit better with more varieties. But it was good value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I stayed two nights here to hike the dolomites. The room is cozy and traditional, the bed was comfortable and room size is good. The only thing we could say as a negative, which we don't regard as one was there was not kettle etc in the room, if your generally used to having a tea before bed. The staff were 10/10 always made sure you had a parking space, everything was just simple, breakfast was a great selection and the waiters were very attentive. Everything in this hotel was great and we would genuinely recommend to family and friends.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We received a room upgrade for free which was amazing!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff. Wonderful breakfast. We wanted to wake up early to catch the sunrise on a trail, so we would miss our first day's breakfast with the hotel. When they heard this, they scrambled to put together a lunch sack for us the night before to take on the trial with us!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In a beautiful panoramic spot
Cons: All was good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great, food, drinks and most important vibe of place.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful family-run hotel that was full of charm and character. The location was great, being about a 7 minute walk from the centre - so it was slightly away from the business of the main thoroughfare but still extremely accessible. One of the main walking/cycle paths ran just behind the hotel, so it was fantastic for getting to the gondolas and the town centre without having to walk along the main road. The rooms were very smart.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Private sauna and whirlpool.
Cons: I didn't like bed, actually pillow and mattress, was so hard, I couldn't sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Trieste exceeded our expectations. The room was lovely-blue tiled bathroom and fabulous views from every window! The location is perfect-easy to walk into town but out of the noise. The breakfast was delicious- especially the warm peach croissants! Terrific place to stay in Cortina!

Pros: Fantastic location. Friendly staff.
Cons: The bedding was a little uncomfortable, very uncomfortable pillows. The air con was not good, temperature of the room too hot.

Pros: The staff were uniformly excellent. These appear to be people who have been at this hotel for decades and take pride in their work. In my exythis level of service is rare. Pros: Friendly staff, nice warm rooms.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Concierge, Lorenzo, and I got along very well. This is a grand old hotel with all the modern conveniences. Cortina's cool alpine air was a welcome relief from the heat and humidity of Venice and Verona.
4.8 Okay
Pros: The location and the staff
Cons: The room they gave us was terrible. Nothing like the pictures and for the price we could've stayed in a better hotel. It was heavily overcharged for the room. We don't mind the money the problem is the value for it. Don't stay here. We should've airbnb'd.

Pros: Location excellent Had a bath
Cons: Scrambled egg was awful- couldn't eat it- think it was powdered

5.8 Okay
Pros: The outdoor area was nice, but not as nice as we'd expected from the pictures. Breakfast was acceptable.
Cons: We had a superior room -- it was quite large, but was an odd layout, with a little bedroom area for children taking up a significant portion of the space. There were no comfortable sitting areas in our room -- the table had benches with minimal cushions and the couch/sleeper had springs you could feel through the cushion. The staff didn't speak much English, and forgot to show us the main bed to start. The spa area closed at 7pm, too early to enjoy it. The dinner tasted ok, but the serving staff was rushed and not attentive -- they were bringing out plates for the next course and leaving them to cool off while hovering to remove the current course.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location is good. Room had a good size. Outdoor kids playground area.
Cons: Hotel overall feels a bit tired. Swimming pool only accessible after 3pm. Breakfast not appropriate for hotel rating
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good, although it did not vary from one morning to another. The staff was extremely polite, always ready to meet our requirements. The hotel has an excellent chef, who delighted us with whatever he cooked. The location is probably the best in Cortina D'Ampezzo, given the fact that you can admire from the garden all the mountains in the area. For families with kids, the hotel provides great facilities outside (even a zip line).
Cons: They could improve the quality of the wifi in the rooms.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The view was amazing.
Cons: Wifi was very bad, and there was No AC some gimic sticker saying its automatically control. The hot water takes ages to go through. Very poor for 4 service for a 4 star.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Time of opening and closing the swimming pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: High level of class. Excellent staff. Kids adored this place. Food fantastic. 2 storey Room amazing for family of 4.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel for a summer holiday. It is settled a bit further from the town centre but 2 min away by car, or you can use hotel shuttle bus which operates every 30 min. Magnificent surroundings with golf court just behind the hotel. Very friendly and nice personnel. Even if it's pretty aged hotel, we did enjoy our stay. We enjoyed the view of the surrounding mountains, forest strawberries that grows just behind the hotel and practically everything.
Cons: Wi-Fi signal in the room is pretty bad, variety of food for breakfast could be little bit better and there is practically no space around swimming pool if it's cold outside. Old and small elevator. Possibility to rent bikes in a hotel would be much easier for guests.
7.9 Good
Pros: Welcoming staff, lovely stay. The hotel is a couple of km’s out of town but there is a shuttle. We also walked home after dinner in town one night which was very pleasant. Kids enjoyed the pool and kids area.
Cons: It was all good
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room was spectacular
Cons: Bathroom was a bit old dated and there was a slight bad smell in there
7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Swimming pool and bar. Beautiful view on the Dolomites! Quiet area.
Cons: Hotel is already years old, and it would be good for renovation.
