8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a big room and clean, good staff.
Cons: Room didn't have A/C you could only leave the windows open
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room was very nice, large and comfortable king size bed. Very clean
Cons: Very few people at hotel, so no atmosphere. Did not eat in restaraunt, no body there just staff, huddled around stove to keep warm.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff and a very spacious, comfortable room!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are amazing - super big, comfortable, and sparkling clean. From There is goes downhill - the landscaping is horrible giving an initial bad impression, the food offerings are limited- mostly sad buffets, and the bar/lobby area drab and un cozy. We spent most of our time at the best western next door- with its super welcoming staff, lovely bar, pool table, nice interior, and great food. Staff didn’t speak a lick of English making check in and getting info difficult
Cons: Landscaping, food, reception, lobby, staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds are beautiful. Grapes and roses!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A little away from the main street, so no noise at all. But still a 10 minute walk to the other side of town. They gave me a huge room, a suite really. I love this place bc they completely leave you alone and aren’t constantly checking on you and chitchatting, but if you ever need anything they are ON IT immediately.
Cons: Nothing bad to say about this place!
7.9 Good
Pros: Good rooms
Cons: The charge per peson
9.2 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location - 5 minutes walk from the main town's plaza, yet peace and quietude; cozy lobby and interesting, transnational tourists to chat with; friendly, supportive, helpful and resourceful staff; beautifully decorated, large size room; comfortable bed; lush towels; plenty hot water and powerful shower stream; nice garden view from my window. Excellent service re luggage and transport to- and from the train station, Creel's main transportation vein.
Cons: No low-cal healthy options on the menu (and thank you, staff, for creating special low-cal meals for me); policy re not permitting any kind of dogs in the hotel needs to change in order to accommodate service dogs. I'm glad that the staff was such a wonderful advocate for me and my service dog vis a vis the management, and created an exception. Service dogs with official school certificates that indicate what kind of training they have gone through and the specific assistance they provide ought to be admitted as a default. Wi Fi download/upload speed is quite slow.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The internet in the room was not working.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Location. Beautiful and very clean rooms. Great Staff. We will Definitely stay there again.
Cons: N/A
6.7 Good
Pros: The location. The atmosphere in general. The room was clean and cozy.
Cons: The receptionist's knowledge. The room itself was good but the mattress was awful (there were "holes" in the mattress, like it was very old and the people weight made that hole). Restaurant staff quite rude. There were reservation for about 30 people and preparing for them so, the ones who came in, were not so welcomed answering, "yes, it is open but there is a reservation so, you have to seat over there", pointing at the far end with a tone of not wanting to serve. We, all three groups, opted not coming in.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In the heart of town with three restaurants! Cool place to hang out after a day of activities
Cons: It’s all good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a very nice place to stay in the center of town. The food is great and the service is outstanding. We enjoyed the tours and a very relaxing experience.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Enough space,
Cons: Roof made of metal
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were awesome. The bar is great. Cozy lobby. On-site craft brewery.
Cons: Would have been nice to be able to use the little fireplace. Maybe we just didn't know how. And there is a coffee maker but no coffee. Again maybe we missed it. There is coffee in the lobby each day starting at 10. Be nice if it was out by 7.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place. The room was big with the mountains view.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great

6.3 Good
Pros: The tour guides are really knowledgeable of the area and look forward to make sure you have a good time
Cons: The staff was not properly trained to perform some admin tasks. For some reason the boiler of the cabin stopped functioning and we had to move to another cabin (good thing is that there was availability), another thing is that there are a lot of dogs in the property in one occasion we couldn’t leave afraid that they were going to bite us and last thing was the check out according to their records I had not payed for the room, even tough I showed the receptionist the email confirmation and the charge in my credit card she didn’t believe it took me a while to convince her
6.7 Good
Pros: Location, open space, great service
Cons: Our first night was Awful, Heater Unit was making a lot of noise and we have to turn it off, then neighbor cabin TV was very loud and It was a challenge to have turn off since Cabin was empty and no one was available at front desk to help, I also Called on the phone and nobody answered. The worst of All it was a very bad Sewer smell coming from the wall next to the beds, So I have to go again to the front desk next morning to have them check on that, Finally thank God another cabin was available later that day and they moved us. The remaining days of our stay were Ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing from the front desk lady to the owner of the store. I travel with my three kids and he open the snack store just for them to buy snacks.
Cons: The shower is very large. Very clean

4.0 Okay
Pros: It had cable t.v. and was two blocks away from the main strip.
Cons: When we arrived they were not even expecting us and put us in one room then 20 min later after we had unpacked they asked us to change room. The room we were in really needed a paint job cause the walls were all stained. It had a small kitchen but was not at all equiped so we could not cook. There was no wifi and the bed covers were stained.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location is awesome, just across the main street, not noisy. The room was warm and blankets were super comfortable. Good service. Very simple room with just what you need.
Cons: When we arrived everything looked clean except for some hairs laying on the floor of the bathroom and shower.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Rundown hotel that needs TCL. Pictures are deceiving. The door would get stuck. A light was out in the bathroom. The hygiene is questionable. The walls are flimsy and you can hear everything through them so if you're a light sleeper, avoid at all cost.
6.2 Good
Cons: No Hot Water!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very centrally located. It had a nice restaurant area. The breakfasts were buffet style and offered great value with papaya / melon with yogurt, various kinds of scrambled egg, fried potatoes, chilaquiles, frijoles, bread and sweet buns, coffee, juices etc. Excellent for setting you up for a day’s fun. The rooms were rather basic but perfectly adequate and very clean. The shower was a bit weird, as although you could get the temperature right, it varied continually from strong to weak pressure and back again, but fine really.
Cons: The pool didn’t look very attractive, as per the photos in booking.com. The water was a little on the cool side, and rather opaque - it looked a bit unclean but perhaps that was just mineral content? Anyway, we all decided to give it a miss for that reason. As with most of the hotels it seems, there is a tour agent in the lobby. He was friendly as one would expect, however we quickly found that the tours on offer did not give us what we were looking for and in that sense did not represent good value for money. For example, for an all day tour to a local park to see rock formations (Ranas, ongos, elefante) and then on to a lake, the tour guide charged 1850 pesos for 5 people, which on the face of it would not seem unreasonable. However, we explained we had had a bad experience previously where we were “taken for a ride” with a previous tour guide ,and he admitted that it was perfectly possible to walk past all the attractions without the need for a guide. We asked for the guide to drop us off and pick us up at the end of the day instead, for which he reduced the charge to a “very special price” of 900 pesos. We subsequently found that a taxi ride to do exactly the same was 250 pesos return. I wish we had checked that before we committed to the tour. After this experience we decided to work with local taxis instead, using the taxi stand in the square near the train station. We happened across a fabulous guy called Luciano, a genuine Tarahumaran and part of the local community who charged us very reasonable prices for all day tours (more around the 1000 peso mark despite more distant destinations). He seemed to know (or be related to!) many of the people we met along the way and was absolutely outstanding as a guide. We really appreciated his candour, local knowledge, and friendliness. Many thanks, Luciano, for a great two days of excursions.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean
Cons: The bed was too saggy and the shower had mould in the corners
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Central location and good breakfast.
Cons: Installations are a bit tired but all right.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good. Plenty of parking. Good WIFI
Cons: Couldn't turn on heat. Complicated instruction in Spanish.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is perfect and the hotelrooms are spacious. So really a good hotel.
Cons: They do not keep promises they make. They would pick me up when I arrived , but nobody was there. The same happened when I left. They promised me to bring me to the El Chepe train in the morning. But this morning nobody was there to do so. So had to walk with luggage in the rain to the trainstation. That is not how hospitality should work.

Cons: Very small room

Pros: Close to the main strip, small but very comfortable. It wasn’t much to hang out in, but if you’re adventuring all day and just need a warm comfy place to sleep this was a great place for the right price!
Cons: A little small. But cozy. No restaurant attached that we could see, but an AMAZING coffee shop across from the main reception/souvenir building. Super close (2 min walking) called Kino’s. So it all worked out!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The mattress

8.3 Excellent
Pros: We booked two tours with the hostel, which were very nice. Our guide Kevin did a great job in giving background information and was also willing to make some extra stops for photos.
Cons: I am a vegetarian and on our first day, I received scrambled eggs without ham/bacon without any problems. On the second morning, however, I was told that, because a big group of guests arrived, it was not possible to prepare some extra eggs without ham. I do not understand how this seemed to be such a deal.

Cons: The accommodations , the room was cold & humid & mildew my clothes got damp & therefore we got sick
7.5 Good
Pros: breakfast is traditional and good room and shower were warm and hot staff is happy and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had newly built rooms in the back and was in the process of building an addition. Each room was heated, which was nice to have in December given the temperatures dropped below 0C. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was included and very good. Coffee was excellent! They have an enclosed and safe parking area in the back.
Cons: Hotel was about a 600m walk to the centre. For dinner in December that meant a dangerous walk along dark roads.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Not much. The breakfast was decent
Cons: Far away from downtown, ugly setting, poorly constructed.
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast is good, home-made tortillas, room has basic amenities
Cons: Bathroom shower and heating, location is a bit off, but Creel is small so not a real problem and there are places to eat nearby. Rooms are not very quiet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist was brilliant! We had to cut our stay short by one night and, although I didn't speak Spanish & she didn't speak English, she refunded the money back onto my card! The breakfast was included, and it was fantastic - maybe the best I've had in Mexico.
Cons: It was a bit of a walk into town along an unlit road at night. Not very safe.
6.3 Good
Cons: we did not let any tip, because they forgot to give back change since they didnt have any at the moment ,but we stood 2 nights and they didnt even mentioned it after all. but everything else was ok.

6.5 Good
Pros: The off site facility we were put into was clean and new, but not a pleasant location. It smelled of paint or varnish and looked onto a dirt parking area. Unlike the main building closer to town, it had no interior courtyard.
Cons: The WIFI was not really functional. The room came will a meal plan, but the food was nearly inedible- dinner was pasta and a pile of ground mystery meat studded with carrots. The orange juice at breakfast was something other than fresh squeezed which seems sort of criminal with the wealth of relatively local citrus. I believe that the main dish at breakfast was wet chicharon - not a good version of something already difficult for this usually adventurous palate.
