Cons: The beach was very dirty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We came here on our Honeymoon. This is the Paradise on Earth. Very friendly staff, very friendly general manager, very clean rooms, very close to the beach. In nature, far away from the noisy main city. Cottages very spacious. Fresh food tailored to your wishes. I will definitely come back next year. Thank you very much to everyone in the resort. M+L
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are huge and comfortable, with a spacious patio and a hammock. The beds are enormous and very comfortable. There are only 10 rooms so even when the hotel is full it is quiet and tranquil. The location is gorgeous. Make sure you take the cliff walk and then walk to the adjoining beach at low tide. It's spectacular. The food was tasty, although a bit pricey. Breakfast is a buffet with a varied selection, especially considering the size of the hotel. Very relaxing, gorgeous place. I love it here.
Cons: There were some issues with our food orders, but the manager was very apologetic and worked to solve the problems. Make sure you order food quite a bit in advance and double-check the orders and time. Cocktails are very expensive.

Pros: Peace and quiet, lovely beach, great staff
Cons: Room could have had a small kitchen, cooking area next to the fridge

Pros: Staff hospitality
Cons: too costly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beauty of the area was reflected by the quality of the hotel. The staff were professional yet kind and their attention to detail impeccable. Spotless, excellent food, amazing location and outstanding accommodation, what more could you ask for.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful location. Breakfast had many choices.
Cons: The wiFi service is limited and not easy assessable at both locations provided by the hotel. The check out process was confusing due to booking online with a credit card and future explanation of staff that the payment must be made at checkout. No wifi service at check out point to follow the accuracy of information, and no contact with the manager at that time. The check out took up to forty minutes which delayed other plans that our family scheduled for the day.

6.8 Good
Pros: The hotel rooms are modern, good breakfast and it has a fitness room.
Cons: The location around the hotel is odd, Dar Es Salaam is not worth a stay over. The hotel itself is far too expensive for the value with European/US room prices. The taxi from the airport forth and back is USD 80, a total rip off. Only a single treadmill in the fitness room.

When you stay at Ledger Plaza Bahari Beach in Dar es Salaam, you'll be on the beach and 14 minutes by car from Mwenge Carvers Market. Featured amenities include a business center and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff of Ledger were so kind, helpful, and genuinely attended to all of our needs even securing airport transport.
Cons: The room we stayed in had some problems with the shower and the light shade was missing from one of the lamps. For $122 a night, I expect my room to be free of missing pieces and have functional water. Some of the beach chairs and equipment were broken and the pads for sitting on were raggedy and worn down. Simply replacing the chairs and padding is not an expensive fix.
4.5 Okay
Pros: I don`t go to breakfast so I do no how it was. Place was far away from Dar Es Salam and everything.
Cons: Stuff was no helpful. Safety box was not working. Only Dollars and Shillings were current what was possible to use. I asked where I can change money the answer was somewhere around 15 minutes taxi trip away. Room was old and bed was lousy. Restaurant was closed. The waitress was under the other planet she just walked around and forget many things. The h food was okay and with out any belly problems. So I do not recommended this place for anyone.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Position and kindness
Cons: It needs some maimtenance
10.0 Excellent

Cons: The bed
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: 1. Pathetic food 2. Stale food - soup of previous night given in breakfast 3. No facilities 4. Extremely dirty 5. Flies and Bees sitting on food and dining table - extremely disgusting and unhygienic and disturbing 5. Place itself is extremely depressing 6. No indoor activities 7. Dirty pool 8. Careless staff Much more to say but all negatives I will never recommend anyone. It’s better they close down
Cons: Just close down or bring new management who understand how to run a clean tidy hygienic lively beach resort
7.0 Good
Pros: The view from my room was great
Cons: They messed up payment and we double-paid The milk was sour at one of the breakfasts
6.8 Good
Pros: THe rooms
Cons: The staffs, the food
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good view and comfort, good value for money
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed the view from our room. To sit on the balcony take a cup of Coffee and look over the horizon were fantastic. The bathroom were nice and clean. The Staff were friendly, and we felt welcome. We were really satisfied with the Beach aswell.
Cons: One has to have in mind that Tanzania isn`t Europe or USA. It takes a while to wait for the food, quite often 1 hour, and sometimes more. This counts for most of the hotels in Tanzania and Kenya. Make sure to order the food before going to dinner if you are impatient. We had to ask several times for towels that we were going to use at the beach. All in all we were really satisfied.

Cons: I was cheated on by the staff as i already paid for my stay from 24th to 27th july on bookings.com for 2 rooms, but they charged me again at the hotel. This was very upsetting and disappointing as i paid twice. I would like a refund to my card as they used my card to swipe the charges on.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: My son and I stayed here in 2012 and we loved our return visit. We started and ended our 3 week trip at Mediterraneo and it was perfect. My mom and I particularly loved the beds! Very comfortable. The shower was the best I found the entire 3 weeks! The staff was extra helpful, the pool beautiful, and the food was delicious. I looked forward to breakfast every day. I highly recommend Mediterraneo for anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful spot a little out of the city.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Direct access to the ocean, Great food and helpful staff. Nice rooms of int'l standard with toilets/shower in excellent condition.
Cons: The cork fee. Strange policy even though it was not strictly enforced.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The quiet the location and the design
7.5 Good
Pros: Ocean View was perfect
Cons: -Amenities should be available such as tea , hot water , slippers, bathrobs. -Entertainment for the guests -Breakfast should have more variety very limited choices for the money you pay is not worth it .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I used this hotel as a base and stayed for a week or so, travelled to Malawi and then returned for another week or so. The hotel is set above the beach some 30 - 60 minutes' drive from the peninsula. Rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning satisfactory. The grounds are nicely tended and attractive. I ate in the restaurant on a number of occasions, where the food was pleasant (if not spectacular) and I had no tummy problems. Generally, the hotel is quiet and orderly. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Security is good and it's a safe environment for children.
Cons: Only a handful of staff speak English well and, on a couple of occasions, speaking to waiters and the like became a little trying. The mistake I made was believing that I could stay here and easily get into the centre of the city. While Uber is cheap, the drivers often do not understand the app in the same way that we do in Europe. This can mean lots of cancellations and, when you do finally get a car, it can take quite some time to get into Dar. After a while, this becomes a nuisance... Personally, I would have done better to stay in a more central hotel.
4.5 Okay
Pros: the waterfront location was reasonable
Cons: the restaurant menu needs updating and the price of white wine (by bottle) was limited in choice and only included extremely over priced non local wine. The breakfast choice and preparation was very poor
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Really nice place by the ocean, viewing the constantly changing tides is a pleasure. The swimming pool was a good choice for a quick swim
Cons: I booked with breakfast, but the wanted to charge me extra for breakfast. Only because I had printed the booking confirmation from booking.com they accepted to renounce the extra charge. On Friday night a neighbouring club (not part of hotel) was playing loud music until 6 am Saturday morning There were some mosquitos, like everywhere in Africa after the rainy season.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good room with a great hotel.
Cons: It would be good when you make the fitness more appealing and more modern.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and spacious hotel. Great pool and seating area next to to the pool. As well as nice breakfast. I also liked the direct beach access.
Cons: Very dirty beach due to tide. And pricey restaurant, as part of the hotel. The pool has a closed bar next to it, which is pity!

Pros: The location was great and central. The rooms were clean and well put together. We really liked the fact that they had wooden floors and not carpets. The staff were helpful in reception and general areas.
Cons: We needed to stay indoors and rest on the Saturday morning. But this was constantly interrupted by loud, noisy and boisterous staff in the corridors cleaning other rooms on the floor we were on. We found this really annoying. Not to mention a couple of knocks to find out when the room could be cleaned in spite of the DND sign at the door.

6.3 Good
Pros: The housekeeping was very cooperative and acted with fast request.
Cons: The bed was too small for two people. The checking in was very Unproffancly and very rude. We asked if the room had a view and was told you did not pay for view room. It will cost more money. When compelled that the bed was too small the front desk person said this what we can offer the bed are all the same in all the and if you want an extra bed you will have to pay more money. I am from USA and when we pay that kind of money we get the treatment for our $worth very disappointed that some places we paid the highest amount of money should be 5 stars as per usa standard but the accomodation and facilities offered were not even3stars.we did safari for 5 days and per person it cost us$3000 the park and game was worth it but the accommodation and the service was terrible. I am sorry to say this but it has nothing to do with your management but I feel all the business wants to deal in $ than they should give the value of our $ because we have to work very hard to make a $ .
6.8 Good
Pros: Executive room was huge. Breakfast waffles and omelet were excellent.
Cons: Phone in room was dead. Not enough towels. Room keys did not work after 10 am, even though we had arranged a stay till 1 pm. AC and TV in Fitness Center did not work. Empty baskets (e.g. croissants) were not replenished without asking. Harbour View only from balcony while craning the neck.

Cons: very noisy neighbourhood accomodation is just up to a profound renovation. Breakfast same every single day, not much variation
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very modern hotel. Close to the airport. Of course, we had come from safaris in tents, so a hot water shower was a luxury. Bar was good. Breakfast was tasty and varied. Very nice location. Staff was efficient and friendly.
Cons: It was a little odd having the lobby on the 11th floor and facilities *pool, gym, restaurant on 9) but that was pretty minor once you got used to it.
