8.8 Excellent
Pros: The management , Neil, the view, the parking as there is no train route along the coat westwards, the light breakfasts. I enjoyed the stay.
Cons: The climb back up the hill. To a little extent I felt that a single traveller is not fully accommodated at tables for more people but I realise it is difficult. My room was overlooked by other rooms.

Pros: A 5* little gem. Fabulous owners who make you feel so welcome nothing to much trouble when asked. A stunningly clean elegantly decorated boutique hotel. Will definitely be booking again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location & parking was a big bonus. Neil was very helpful & everywhere was spotlessly clean .
Cons: Couldn’t get Wi-fi in our room - although guest booklet did say that it was patchy due to location . Might be worth considering upgrading to super fast broadband
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very high standard,beautiful smell
Cons: After travelling 5 hrs to get there ,would have been nice to have been offered a drink on the stunning terrace with amazing views, and never known a hotel to shut the terrace at 6pm ,it spoilt it for us
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So modern and beautifully decorated, I’d like to live there actually. Continental breakfast was lovely as were the views from the dining room. Only a 10 min walk to the harbour where all the shops and restaurants/ pubs are, a steep walk back up the hill but we got a taxi for about £5. Such lovely touches about the place and Neil was really helpful and friendly- can’t recommend enough. Thanks

Cons: TV could have been bigger. Remote didn't work properly. Need to address the strong smell of damp.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are fantastic. Location is great. The tea, hot chocolate and coffee making facilities are helpful. They left us 2 bottles of water and milk in the fridge. They've put also take away cups with lids and single usage plates. Having a fridge was really handy. And the fact that they allowed me to park my motorbike in their garage, and waited for me to arrive at midnight, that says a lot about the goodness of the hosts.
Cons: Just being picky, but I think the chimney has been recently painted and was smelling just a little bit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is superb - right in the middle of Dartmouth - and having a reserved parking space only minutes away was amazing. The owner was very helpful both before and during our stay. We booked on a room only basis but there were shops and restaurants close by and the room had all we needed to be able to bring breakfast back and eat in comfort. Great to have a fridge in the room, too.
Cons: Nothing.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Seale Arms has been recently renovated to a high degree and our room was lovely and spacious with a king size bed and large bathroom. Breakfast was always well cooked and plentiful, good real Ale on tap and live music some evenings which was great. We were made to feel welcome by our hosts who were always ready for a chat and laugh even though very busy. Great location which was quiet (apart from the Seagulls!) and just a few minutes walk from the harbour and shops which was ideal as I had injured my knee.
Cons: Nothing really

C$ 353+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Kaywana Hall Luxury Bed & Breakfast in Dartmouth, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Blackpool Sands and Dartmouth Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kaywana Hall is not just a boutique B&B, it's an experience. The room was comfortable, luxurious and chic extending outside to private decking with chairs, table and parasol. Relaxing in such beautiful, well-furnished and tranquil surroundings is recommended. Breakfast was perfect; plenty of choice with quality, fresh, local ingredients. We particularly enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade granola and crispy sourdough toast; from full English to eggs and smoked salmon, it set us up for the day. It was cooked to order and served by the hosts along with friendly conversation; very welcoming people generously sharing their 'ubercool' space. There were individual and thoughtful touches throughout our stay that contributed to the quality of this booking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous hospitality in a stunning property and excellent location.
Cons: Nothing - We liked everything about our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were superb. They were made from very good quality produce and cooked perfectly with a variety to choose from.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is much more than a B&B, this is the little luxury escape you deserve. Kaywana is so peaceful, but yet so close to Devon’s Kingswear and Dartmouth. It all starts with the secluded driveway through the trees winding up to the Butterfly House. Every detail is taken care of. You feel so at peace with nature, with full height windows that bring the forest into the room. Little extras like the hand made fudge in your room, luxury toiletries, blue tooth sound system and a small library in the room. Gordon couldn't have been more helpful, from meeting us at the driveway to get our bags, to running around after us at Breakfast. The breakfast was so personal; just a few guests to enjoy locally sourced organic produce that was carefully crafted in their kitchen. The rooms all face different parts of the forest, giving full privacy. We only saw the other guests at breakfast. Our room was spacious, allowing separation of the sleeping area from the living area, with separate shower and a deep bath to soak in. We had a great nights sleep in clean luxurious sheets in such a comfortable bed. Our only regret is we didn't stay longer. We travelled from Perth Australia and plan on coming back in the near future. Thank you Gordon & Tony for a wonderful break.
Cons: Nothing to dislike, except we didn't stay long enough.

Pros: The location and the availability of the employees.

Cons: It was all good thanks
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved everything about this place. The quirkiness of it was amazing. The place and staff were both outstanding. I have booked to come again with my other half this time!

Pros: Unique beautiful location. Charming friendly staff. Comfortable beds and delicious breakfast
5.0 Okay
Pros: Liked location ,room was okay .
Cons: The bathroom needed some attention in our four poster room, ,tired looking as did much of the outside woodwork , lack of varnish etc ,it was shabby not shabby sheek. Also dogs are allowed to run amok, both the owners and visitors which results in dog poo left on the garden since visitior's may be having breakfast whilst their dogs run around unsupervised outside. By the way I like dogs. Visited this B&B in the past not quite at the same standard

5.8 Okay
Pros: The village is lovely and it's very close to some amazing countryside and beaches. The local pub is excellent and there's a superb restaurant a short walk away (Radius 7) The staff were friendly and helped us with a late-ish check in Breakfast was decent It's dog friendly
Cons: At £190 a night it is very, very expensive for the standard of the hotel. The pricing felt like a throwback to the bad old days of British tourism before foreign holidays forced the UK to up its game The rooms and general decor are very tired The swimming pool water felt filthy and the spa had a film of grease over it. It felt neglected and unclean - we didn't see anyone use it during our stay and we only spent 10 minutes in there before deciding to get out Car park is a tight squeeze if you can't get one of the regular parking bays
4.6 Okay
Pros: Has some facilities on the entertainment and sport side of things. The shower was quite good.
Cons: Rooms need updating and little dated with tiny old fashioned tv’s and decor. Wifi was useless for doing anything that was work/business related! Staff were really slow and uninterested apart from a girl called Chelsea (I think that’s was her name) on reception. Breakfast was ok but choice was a little sparse. a lot of moving and not a lot getting done with staff!

6.7 Good
Pros: The sea view from the room was beautiful. The outdoor heated pool was also lovely.
Cons: There was only one bedside light in our double room. The bathroom was tired and the shower pathetic.
6.7 Good
Cons: Restricted hours of serving food throughout the day, on holiday you want to get away with restrictions 2pm is far too early to stop serving bar meals, some of us like to have a lazy morning and have a bar meal around 3pm The bathroom was dated and rather shabby.

Cons: The sausage at breakfast but then I am very fussy with sausage
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast really lovely, hosts really lovely, fantastic location. Really lovely evening meal and entertainment
Cons: Nothing we didn’t like
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Central location in historic Dartmouth property, the ideal base for us whilst doing South West Coast Path / kayaking / boat trips. We paid extra for a large room, with sofa and lots of space for our adult children to chill with us (they had another bedroom upstairs). There’s a fridge (useful, as brilliant wine shop on the Butter Walk nearby selling Sharpham Estate wine) brilliant amenities in room (proper coffee) and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant. Breakfast is generous and freshly cooked. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Dartmouth is a lovely place to be based, but the accommodation options are limited so we were very glad to have found this.
Cons: We loved it, but be aware that this isn’t a “hotel” - these are well appointed rooms above a restaurant, the owner lives upstairs and is on site. Nowhere in Dartmouth is cheap, but we felt this was a good value option.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the centre,Simon was so friendly and helpful, anything you need just ask, nothing was too much trouble. We loved our room and the quality of the breakfast was great the sausage sandwich the best sausage i've ever eaten!! Food in the restaurant and the service were excellent and the live music was a nice touch.I dont remember the name of the lady who served us but she had a great sense of humour and was lovely. Many thanks

Everything about it was great - the location is brilliant, it’s easy to get everywhere on foot, the room was really clean and spacious with lots of good facilities, and the food (breakfast and dinner!) was lovely! Simon and Aga were very friendly, helpful and accommodating for the duration of our stay! Thank you!

Pros: Breakfasts were excellent - very high standard. Comfortable room with good shower. Excellent evening meal with pleasant staff.
Cons: Unfortunately we had an upstairs room which was a little too much of a climb for myself - will make sure next time we request room on lower floor.

Pros: Friendly reception and promptly shown to our very pleasant room. Shown emergency numbers and fire exit route. Everywhere was very clean and windows in first floor bedroom had been left open to air the room. Enjoyed our drinks and cakes in the bar with family members, and then later drinks in the bar before bed. Staff had excellent attitude and were efficient - nothing was too much trouble. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Our first floor bedroom overlooked the street so we were woken by deliveries early on Monday morning, but we had left our windows open as it was a warm night. Other than that, there were no negative issues.
