We loved our clean, comfortable, and charming room and the fact that the property was pet friendly. Excellent location, surrounded by beautiful nature. The breakfast was delicious.
The rooms were clean.
Our room had a musty smell and the only way to get fresh air was to leave our door open - there was no window at all. It got quite warm in our room at night (we were there during August) and there was no way to get air other than leaving our door open which we didn't want to do - plus it did get down to around 8 degree over night. Our bathroom was small - which I have experienced in Italy before but only in Rome! This bathroom was so small you couldn't actually dry yourself after a shower. The breakfast was average and if you didn't get to breakfast early things would run out and that was it - there was no more! There was no fridge in our room either. To be fair we did ask for another room but didn't change as the other room had a larger bathroom but was a lot smaller where the bed was and was up 2 floors with no lift so we didn't want to be up and down stairs for 3 nights. There was also only one no descript bottle of 'soap' we guess! There was nothing else! Not value for money at all.
Excellent breakfast! Friendly staff.
No place to to put the luggage. No hangers in the bathroom. No elevator.
Staff were extra helpful. When we needed to leave before breakfast to catch a train, they packed up a generous meal to go. Also offered us coffee though they were just setting up. Warm, comfortable rooms and balconies with spectacular views! Close to bike path and bus.
Information about getting there from the train station- turns out a bus stops right in front of the hotel.
Great place to stay before embarking on Alta Via 1. Bus stop was right across the street.
