The Argentian woman working the front desk was extremely helpful and kind, going out of her way to assist with logistics. This is not a given at Dublin hotels! I’ve stayed at 4 different places and found that front desk personnel very often was not particularly friendly, helpful and knowledgable.
Plumbing was a bit sketchy, but it’s an old building. If you’re sensitive to other guests’ noise I recommend staying on the top floor as the floors are very creaky.
It was amazing
Ceiling windows meant it was light all the time
Very friendly and helpful staff. It was clean and there was a water heater with instantcoffee and teabags in our room. The location is good, not too far away from the city, if you are good on your feet you don't need a bus.
It was a little bit outdated which showed especially in the bathroom. The windows where not really good to close completely so I would recommend to take earplugs with you.
The rooms are comfortable if you just want a bed and some simple breakfast (which I do). The location of the hotel is really good, you can't beat it for getting access to the city.
The rooms that I have stayed in so far are tired. They tick the box as they are reasonably clean (cleaning staff left something for me to throw outside the room, twice). All that said, the rooms are roomy and they have tea making and free shampoo etc (if you need it) and contain a bed with clean white linen.
Great location, Very comfortable beds, nice clean bathroom, helpful staff.
Wi-fi connection was not working in the room due to super weak signal.
