6.0 Good
Pros: could not find office - it is in the dinner did not see the sign; the first room assigned was not serviced ...
Cons: promised continental breakfast - not provided
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and service friendly
Cons: Pretty far from the events, and we didn’t have complementary breakfast at the hotel. (Inconvenience)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Big spacious rooms that were immaculate and had both a fridge and microwave which was really useful. Danielle at check in was absolutely great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room friendly staff. Love it’s walking distance to the falls
Cons: Nothing. Have stayed there several times really like it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Not easy to find with all road conditions.
Cons: Late check in 4pm
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent all around!
Cons: Checking in at the restaurant was confusing at first but okay as the staff was personable and on top of it.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The building seemed to be brand new, though it was probably a few years old. We were quite comfortable and enjoyed our stay. There was also a washroom down the hall, which was nice when our bathroom was occupied.
Cons: The Travelodge sign was very small - we drove back and forth for awhile to find the location. Also, the diner person was also the person who signed us in to our room. Totally unfair to the sole worker bee. Though, remarkably, the person checking us in, and the one checking us out the next day, were very cheerful and friendly.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good location; friendly stuff; comfortable, clean room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was very pleasantly surprised at the overall experience of staying at this Travelodge. The check in was simple, the lovely woman checked me in - in between cooking someone's dinner and taking someone's order (The check in is at the diner) The food was great there too! The room was a good size and looked out on the forest - even though it was right off the highway (no noise). The bed was very comfortable (although it may be a bit high for some). Shower was good with plenty of hot water. I appreciated the small black towel to remove my makeup so as not to soil the white one - ingenious! I had asked for a ground floor room and one was held for me - This really helped with the dogs and luggage. There was also a good grassy area to walk my dogs. The short walk to see Hedge Creek Falls was lovely.
Cons: Probably a small continental breakfast inside the hotel (not at the diner) or a "coupon" for such to use at the diner for a meal would be nice.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location, very close to Hedge creek falls, Good view of Mt Shasta, on the way I5 S.
Cons: Bathroom door wasnt working properly. The check in/check out was at Penny's diner in the same property outside the hotel building.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the view and diner
9.0 Excellent

Cons: No pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, the person that checked us in was exceptional, loved the decor of the room, very clean and priced just right.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Everything! Run down, dirty, stained comforter, cracked walls, tiles up on bathroom floor, creepy dark dirty closet with no doors. Needs to be seriously bulldozed!
5.8 Okay
Pros: I pretty much love the area around Castle Crags and this is the closest hotel to it. Quaint is an applicable word to describe the room and reception area. We did get a mini-frig and our dog was only $8.50. Wi-fi worked easily enough.
Cons: Well, the owner was a bit gruff and made the ol' anti-government statements I hear from people living in the sticks. The heater didn't seem to operate at our control but the room didn't seem cold so hard to say how it worked. No microwave which I guess may have been wishing on our part. "Full-size" beds (I thought we reserved queens?) were short and a bit soft. The cable either didn't work or I had no idea how to access it.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Quiet well run clean. I arrived quite late yet owner manager was very accommodating.
Cons: Na
4.3 Okay
Cons: The room smelled, the bed was uncomfortable, and the only vending machine did not work.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Property right off Main Street and easily accessible. My room was big, nicely furnished and clean. WiFi good, big fridge, a aromatherapy machine and electric fireplace. Very nice. Would stay here again.
Cons: mattress wasn’t comfortable and sheets were not good quality.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff and owner very friendly. Squeaky clean. Comfortable bed. Great value. Also there was an excellent espresso stand on the property.
Cons: Room was a bit small, but there are also bigger rooms for a bit more money.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Dunsmuir is an interesting small town with surprisingly many “big town” amenities.
Cons: Bed was squeaky, but very large and with a great rustic logframe.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Pleasant surroundings. Nice outdoor sitting area.
Cons: Old school motor court motel. Thin walls. Could hear all conversations and running water from adjoining rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We went to Pennys Diner which was open 24 hours and close by. The people were really nice, food was fine and lots of it. If you like 50s like diner you would like this.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very clean and beautiful surroundings
Cons: Not enough outlets, had to unplug the lamps to accommodate our electrical needs and the hair dryer although looked new did not work.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was great and the owner was great. The room was clean and comfortable.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Not much. Motel people were nice. I was overjoyed to get out of there.
Cons: But worse motel I’ve stayed at out of over 200 motel’s. Room very small, mosquitos in room we killed with pillows. Ants in bathroom. AC unit very old and not effective so tough to sleep. But when too hot we could take a cold shower. I got about 2 hours sleep. I only chose this place because high reviews. Maybe people liked it because it allows pets. For $90 I shouldn’t have to call someone to check the water heater 10 minutes before shower.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Waterfall hike very close and it was beautiful. There's a small Aviary and Koi pond on site. Beds were comfortable. Rooms are a bit outdated but very clean. There's a great Micro Brew Restaurant about a mile a way in downtown that was absolutely excellent without outdoor seating.
Cons: TV was small and the guide was difficult to use.
7.5 Good
Pros: What Breakfast???
Cons: Needed to put out sign for room to be cleaned.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the second time I have stayed here and it proves the first time wasn’t a fluke - still clean, quiet, and has everything you need to take a break on a road trip.
Cons: I do it know what could be made better. It’s pretty great as is.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: No breakfast but the room was clean and A/C worked fine. Location in the woods was very cozy and shady. Liked the aviary onsite. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Really can't think of anything I didn't like.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: friendly, clean, aviary/koi pond on premise. easy parking. close to Yaks on the 5 restaurant.
