Fantastic location!! Friendly staff!!
Workmen outside started working 7am which was loud and making a lot of noise, but that was not the hotels fault. So that’s ok! Will stay with them again if I was next in Edinburgh. Very happy customer here!
Receptionist was very friendly. Felt welcome as soon as we entered. Had everything we needed and all things were up to standard.
The only issue was the construction work that started at 6AM but this is not the fault of the hotel.
The beds were comfy . Room was clean
There was nothing we didn’t like
The hotel was cheap, the location was good and the staff friendly.
The beds were uncomfortable the pillow was not very good ( had to ask for extra pillows) the room not very well sound proofed.
Room was a good size Plenty of tea/coffee/milk
No toiletries in bathroom 3 flights of stairs (altho we were aware there was no lift) Was not asked on check in if we would like breakfast (and wrongly thought we were getting it so disappointed in the morning)
