Very nice hotel in a picturesque little town. The breakfast was excellent with many delicious choices. Our room was up many many stairs with little lighting. The WiFi only works in the lobby so that was disappointing after climbing up to the third floor. The room was quite large with nice views and breeze from the windows.
WiFi in whole place.
The family room (27) was very spacious, split into two rooms with a huge bathroom with a large bath and a fantastic shower. The hotel staff are all amazingly friendly and extremely helpful. I am a coeliac who needs a gluten free diet and my son is Vegan and this was fully catered for. Even when the resteraunt was shut on Sunday they found us a nearby resteraunt that would cater for our needs. I woukd definitely stay here again. It made the skating competition feel like a relaxing holiday.
I was happy with everything.
The atmosphere of the building and the decorations in the corridors

It is a basic hotel with very helpful staff. The rooms are very clean and the beds are firm with one very slim pillow and a small duvet that's just enough. Bathroom was fine again, basic but plenty of hot water. Breakfast has cereal, selection of cheese and hams, pastries and croissant, boiled eggs and a scrambled egg/ham dish. Tea, coffee, lovely hot chocolate. Overall a pleasant experience. It was what we were expecting and very good value for the price.
Hotel Andreas Hofer is set in a historic building in the town of Egna. It offers bike rental and information on the nearby Europe cycle path. Its restaurant serves Trentino specialities. Rooms at Andreas Hofer come with carpeted and wood floors and an LCD TV. Each one has a private bathroom with dispensers for shower gel and liquid soap. Some offer views of the garden or surrounding mountains. Breakfast is a sweet and savoury buffet including homemade cakes and pies, different varieties of bread, cereal and fruit juice. Both the bar and restaurant have an outdoor terrace. The restaurant serves Tyrolean and Mediterranean specialities and can cater for gluten/lactose-free diets. The hotel's swimming pool is open from mid May until mid September. Guests can relax in the sauna and steam bath. Wi-Fi access is available at reception and in the winter garden. Free parking is provided and the nearest ski area, Obereggen, is around 40 minutes away by car. Monte Corno Nature Park is ideal for hiking and is a recognised UNESCO World Heritage Site.
