10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Desk Clerk was extremely helpful providing guidance on our travel routes. We were on a road trip from Seattle to San Diego along the Pacific Coast during an extended rainy spell. Lots of road closures due to mudslides. She got online to check our route for us and gave us alternates to continue our trip. She was a fantastic help and very pleasant as well.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is new and I would expect it to be clean and well maintained, and it was. Staff was freindly and the breakfast had a nice selection. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: Parking spaces are narrow. For the two days I was there two landscape trucks with trailers took up 12 of the parking spaces.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: An excellent public area with pool, hot tub, sitting area and breakfast space. Friendly desk staff. Comfortable contemporary room
Cons: The breakfast - given a nearly two hundred dollar pricepoint was sorely disappointing... Baths are very small and tight for getting in and out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great ammenities! Nice, heated pool, 2 hot tubs, pool table, small gym, continental breakfast and heated lamps outside. Refrigerator & microwave inside. Worth the extra cost when compared to what's by.
Cons: Continental breakfast was small & crowded, but hey.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's right where everything is downtown you could walk to a lot of places and it's easy to get in and out of and plenty of room to park they even have a limo that takes you to dinner for free at night!!!! The were very clean and very accommodating!!!! The stuff was also very nice! The hot tub and fire places in the oasis was just like what it says, an oasis!!!! It made the best of our vacation!!!! Also the restaurant onsite is delicious!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Checked in at 4pm to find out that they had a limo service that took us out to eat. Driver suggested a wonderful restaurant called 511. We will be back. Beds were extremely comfortable
4.8 Okay
Pros: They've updated certain aspects of the room: TV, bed, and dresser. The room itself was clean but the smell bothered me and the bathroom was small.
Cons: Very outdated motel. Smelled like stale cigarettes and damp carpet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rode in style to dinner in the complementary limo. Pool and hot tub were both beautiful, although not large. Outdoor area for breakfast was comfortable and calm. A great experience for the cost!

Pros: Jesse greeted us upon arrival and displayed AMAZING customer service. Everything else was also satisfying, Thank you!! =]

5.4 Okay
Cons: We am very displeased with our one night stay. The main reason that will cause us to not stay again is a person. The female blonde manager was so unwelcoming, cold, rude, short and unhelpful that she put a bad taste in my mouth. She had an blank bitchy look on her face as if she was doing you a favor just to acknowledge your presence. The man who worked the evening shift was quite the opposite - gracious, upbeat and welcoming. The female manager should get laid off - or not be allowed any interaction with the guests and he should be the face of the Carter House.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and the pillows were super soft. We enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi. The best part was the breakfast. There was so much food to choose from and it was delicious.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Carpeting was brand new (could still smell it, but not so strong that I couldn't sleep) so previous reports of dirty carpet have been addressed. Rooms nice sized and clean, bed was comfortable. Microwave and fridge were an added plus. Hot breakfast included bacon - yum. This is a standard mid-price hotel that was clean, convenient and relatively quiet, except for noise from Hwy 101, which was masked by AC unit during the night. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: We were on the second floor and there was no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up the flight of stairs. It does appear they are building one on the back side of the building, but I didn't ask what the ETA was for it being finished. I was told before I finished checking in that there wasn't an elevator, so I was aware of this. An elevator would be a definite improvement to the hotel.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They were eager to be of assistance and professional. The dining room was clean, the breakfast was good and a variety of items were available.
Cons: The carpets need cleaning!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Rooms were comfortable and extremely clean. I would highly recommend this Comfort Inn.
Cons: Can't think of anything I didn't like !
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to check in an out. Very clean bathroom
Cons: Carpets are kind of old, smelled a slight cigarette smoke odor.

Pros: Good breakfast in a spacious front room, incl. fresh fruit (berries, not just defrosted melon) and juice. Good location within walking distance of the waterfront trail and the mall.
Cons: First room was uncleaned, so we got a second room, not fully serviced. Interior door had hole in it.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, great location. Good breakfast. Loved pool and hottub.
Cons: Our room wasn't ready when we checked in.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the breakfast and the bed

Pros: Guy at the check-in was very friendly and polite. Hotel has character. Continental breakfast provided.
Cons: Wifi doesn't seem to reach other than in the lobby. Not luxurious but clean
6.2 Good
Cons: Unexpected $100 room deposit!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Older building that is very interesting & its history is well preserved & displayed. Great location close to downtown and suprisingly quite.
Cons: Breakfast
5.7 Okay
Pros: Charming, but musty smelling. Refurbished, but still in need of many things. Cold and very empty over a 3 day weekend. Strange place. I miss the charm and warmth of the olds days at The Eureka Inn. No dining on site due to rats in the restaurant it seems. Place was empty, like a ghost town. Curtains do not black out light in rooms - at all! No chairs in room or clock or fridge. Great location to walk to old town.
Cons: Musty smell, too much daylight seeps into room in morning, no place to sit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is a historic building that was built in the 20s. It is styled from that area and has that authentic old times look. They have a resturant and a bar on the first floor. It was 100 dollars for my room and it was beautiful. Definitely worth the price for the beauty and history.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Felt like we were stepping back to an earlier time.
6.5 Good
Pros: Once I got over the fact that the facility was in fact an older place from a time of different esthetics, and also as a result I started to appreciate the quaint character.
Cons: As it is older, it was harder to get my gear to my room-the parking is really weird. The bathroom is smaller and the older nature of the place made it less convenient than more modern hotels
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Cool historic hotel in a great location at a great price

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I never really pay attention to hotel staff when I'm checking in at 1am and leaving in the morning. It doesn't seem that important. I just want to sleep. In this case, however, on multiple occasions, I noticed some very nice people working at the hotel. The lady in the eating area was extremely kind and attentive. The desk guy - I don't know what you call him, but in the morning, the man working the check-out, when asked by my husband where the zoo was, took out a map, showed him the way, and then gave him the map. He really took time to help us out. Also, I slept well, and I have a nasty bad back. So, that means the beds were tolerable. I was exhausted, but if the bed was bad, I would have woken up from the pain through the night. That didn't happen, so I'm going to say the beds were good.
Cons: The breakfast - well, really - the eggs in the morning. I do not like powdered eggs, and while I realize its a convenience for you, they are truly disgusting things to feed your guests.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Room an breakfast
6.2 Good
Pros: big rooms
Cons: blood stains on the comforter

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was insanely comfortable and the night audit that greeted me was very nice and very accommodating. I've been in hospitality for 6 years and she was a perfect example of how people should be treated.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Appeared to be clean, adequate, et cetera. Big, many rooms - a hotel as opposed to all the motels in Eureka. But as with so many places, only affordable if you're well off or they have a special low price.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: The staff
Cons: Everything but the staff.

Pros: The Hotel was nice and big! The room was definitely worth the price. We got in pretty late, but the beds were super comfortable. I also loved how the shower had a tub being a mom of little ones made this stay easy and bathing them!

Pros: Pleasant staff. Facility in good repair and clean. Large room. Lots of "stuff' - refer, iron/board, microwave, etc. Decent breakfast.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing. This place was a nightmare. The rooms were dirty and the owner of the hotel is a lunatic. We went in to book our room and the one of the maids tried to help him find our reservation by pointing at the screen and he smacked her arm. This place is dirty and over priced and no customer service.
Cons: The hotel cleanliness, service or friendliness

Cons: Room was hot and there was no air conditioning unit. Had to open the windows making things much noisier next to that busy road.

Pros: This place is crazy out of date. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and the room smelled old and musty when you walked in. The bed was uncomfortable and to top it off the curtain the goes all the way across the room didn’t close all the way by about 2ft and just so happened to be the at the end of the room where the head of the bed was so I hope you enjoy waking up at 5am. There were people outside all night and a very loud road but you had to have the window open because there is no AC.

Cons: The hotel was very ran down. Hasn't been cleaned very well. Outside was even pretty dirty. Advertised a heated and then has a note on the door that it isn't heated.. Its freezing! Slamming and banging and talking all night long! Won't stay again..
1.0 Poor
