I asked for a ground floor room and was given a second floor room. I went back and they switched me to a ground floor room so all was good.

The Fairfield Hotels The Circle Hotel Fairfield is a boutique hotel on Post Road in Fairfield, Connecticut. This establishment is near Metro-North rail service and a few miles from Interstate 95. The Fairfield Historical Society Museum is a few feet away while Black Rock Gardens Historic District can be reached in less than two miles. This air-conditioned hotel boasts a total of 80 non-smoking guestrooms and suites. It is 25 miles from Westchester Country Airport and 20 miles from New Haven Airport.
Guestrooms have either two queen size beds or one king size bed along with a sleeper sofa. The suites consist of deluxe king rooms with kitchenettes and double queen studios with kitchenettes. The hotel is also only five to 10 minutes from Jennings and Penfield Beach and guests have access to free beach passes. For business travelers, there are two different meeting spaces at the hotel which can accommodate up to 35 individuals.
Several restaurants are available near the hotel including Craft 260, Senor Salsa, Duchess Restaurant, Shiki Hana Sushi, and Yalla Organic Hummus & Grill.

Pros (+) Clean, updated rooms with a relaxed feel & decor. Everything functioned properly and amenities were good. Very nice lobby/gathering area. Friendly 'family' atmosphere and staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will use again.

Cons (-) Bathroom had a slight "sewage" smell. Wi-Fi was spotty. Room was very dark, not enough lights; but if I had the blinds open, people could look in.
