The Staff is lovely! Just great, they make you feel like home! Ali was also very helpfull, even when we just asked for some excursion at the last minute, he organised everything. The Riad is beautiful inside and very clean. For us it was raining and we couldnt enjoy the rooftop but Im sure the sunset view has to be great from there. Totally recomended! Would repeat again :)

The location is wonderful and the staff are very friendly and great English! Because there were four of us traveling and the quadruple rooms were booked when we reserved rooms, when we arrived we planned on one of us staying in the shared dormitory room. The staff was kind enough to upgrade one of our party into a single with no additional charge. Very kind. This was my second time staying here as I enjoyed the location, riad, and breakfast so much the first stay I decided to come back.
The staff suggestions for Fes were misleading. We asked for a restaurant recommendation; the restaurant was beautiful, but we were not told that the meal would be extremely expensive. Couscous typically costs 25 MAD and the restaurant we were taken to by the staff when we asked for a couscous recommendation cost us 900 MAD for 4 people for lunch, $90. Additionally, the tour we were highly recommended by the staff was supposed to be an English speaking tour, the guide did not know English, nor did he take us to historically important parts of the tour; we spent 5 hours on the tour which was pricey and uninformative.

Beautiful riad; Amazing host Ali, who helped us with all our problems and concerns. He even went with us to a pharmacy to help buy some medicine; Great location: close to the main road and has enough signs -> easy to find and easy to get by taxi; Close to a bank and mobile store. Bank exchanges money without any fee; We paid 5 euro for a SIM card with 5Gb. The room was the same as in the pictures. No unpleasant odors, enough space; Nice view from the roof, almost the entire medina is visible. We had a room on a ground floor which has direct windows to the inner space. No noises at night and no morning singing in Mosques, however people having breakfast in the morning can be disturbing. Since we were first to wake up, it was fine for us.
Breakfast is simple and mainly consist of jams and traditional bread.

The riad is at the edge of the Medina and so even if taxi can’t bring you there it is still quite easy to reach. Has a beautiful and quiet terrace. Nice breakfast.
All bedrooms have the windows on the inside open patio. Our bedroom was at the ground floor right by where people had breakfast or the reception area. The rooms don’t have windows but only shutters and grates so you really hear everything, living to the sensibility of other guests how well you can sleep, so if you find a family of 8 laud Dutches that have breakfast at 8 forget your sleep. In genera if you have a light sleep you may struggle with this. The staff of the hotel is available for arranging day excursions or transfers, but their prices are high and they will not even try to look into different options! For a day in Volubilis Mekness and Moulay Idriss they ask 100 euro (private tour) two friend of ours at a near by hotel could do it for 90€ and at the travel agency where we ended up doing it for 80€. The shared car system with the agency works really well and it is only 15€ per person. Also we asked to print out boarding passes and asked us 1 euro per page (not even in NYC!).
