Villa Ape Rosa Relais

The location is not good. The staff insisted that the bus route runs every 10 minutes on weekdays, and 18 minutes on weekends. This is grossly optimistic, but the staff always had excuses and long stories when we questioned them about transportation into central Florence. One day the bus did not run at all, even though the electronic screen downtown kept registering a bus on the way. Another day the taxis were all unavailable. We eventually wasted hours and hours finding transportation to and from Florence.
