The proximity to the beach and Poseidon Gardens was great and I would return for those aspects. The staff was very helpful in determining transportation. It was quiet and pleasant.
The bed was too hard for my comfort. The air conditioning did not work and there were not screens on the window, which meant bugs could get in and did.

“We return to Hotel Citara for the third time (we missed last year:)) and everything was perfect, thank you very much to Francesco and Lucia, the perfect hosts for all kind advices, help. Also thank you to the staff restaurant, especially Mario (who mainly served us this time). We love Ischia and could have not chosen a better place to stay, hopefully we will return next year, thank you!”
“The thermal spa and rooftop swimming pool. Lucia at reception was very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. The view from the balcony of the ocean and sunsets was great. It is within walking distance of the Poseidon Thermal spas. Fairly easy public bus transportation nearby.”
