10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing, they couldn’t do enough! The property was just beautiful, we had an amazing time and will be back in the future
Cons: The room was very tight—wouldn’t stay in that room again. Limited space for clothes/suitcases
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was tasty. the gentleman did not tell us our choices for the breakfast. There was one other couple there, he was more interested in talking to them. We had to ask if he had eggs, sausage etc. Nice enough, but needs to work harder.
Cons: Skippy on the crackers and cheese. Didn't see cookies etc. Greeter was nice, other people not friendly.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the breakfast, especially the hot items. Wish there was more coffee options available. The location was a little awkward because there was always a big party sitting at the table in the center of the room.
Cons: The only complaint I have about our stay is that our room was never cleaned on the third day. We ask a staff member in the late afternoon and it was never cleaned, in which we needed clean towels for showering which they provided. When we came back from dinner the room still was not cleaned, so we mentioned it again to another staff member, we went back out and when we came back later that evening the room was finally cleaned.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is great! Sitting in the chairs overlooking the harbor is terrific, relaxing! The food was good but with a set hour it left little time to sleep in in the morning which made it less like a vacation and more like a scheduled work event. The staff was terrific! The actual food was good they had a kurig good coffee and wine at night was good
Cons: The bed was terribly uncomfortable; way too firm; the room way too small for 3 people (and the room was supposed to be for 3 or 4) the closet space miniscule, no bureau no place to put luggage so for 3 days tripped over 3 suitcases daily no mini fridge or coffee maker in room so had to leave to get coffee water etc. Shower good size but no place to put toiletries shampoo etc in shower only had two tiny shelfs not enough space also the water ran out of the shower under the shower door so the bath mat was soaked day 1 and never got changed nor was there room to put it to dry anywhere no space for 3 people to put towels no towel holder near sink so nothing to dry hands or face on at sink plus maids never really cleaned only put in fresh towels so didnt feel good in room; did wipe out sink and shower but that was all! None of us slept well for those 4 nights so not a good time we were tired and grumpy by end of stay even the glorious location couldnt over come that nor the fact that the staff were very friendly and excellent - won't go back not comfortable couldnt see tv from the trundle bed i had all in all not a good experience and not worth all the money i paid
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely view of the marina from wrap-around porch. Breakfast was excellent. Open, window-filled common space and fresh decor.
Cons: My mistake. I searched properties in and around Mystic. This one is about 30 minutes away from Mystic. That may have influenced my sense of overall satisfaction.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful grounds and all around nice place!
Cons: I had to leave at 7:45, before breakfast was served. Also, there is no AC so I would not stay here in the summer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds are beautiful, overlooking a marina! The gardens are well maintained with a variety of flowers. There are multiple outside seating areas to relax and look at the gorgeous views. The building is updated and clean. Our room was a nice size, large bathroom and comfy bed! There are rooms for you to read, do puzzles and play games in. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! They serve complimentary breakfast, wine & snacks in the late afternoon and cookies at bedtime. It is a quick walk (1 block) to Main St. We highly recommend this Inn and will be returning!
Cons: Everything was fantastic!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautiful in appearance set next to the marina and walking distance to the Main Street.
Cons: Nothing, the property was well maintained.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this inn!! Everything was wonderful! We will be back! It's walking distance to the restaurants and the main street of Niantic. Great food! The inn is so beautiful, so well kept and clean. We had a great time! Great place to relax. And its peaceful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is amazing. The staff is the best Especially Dave and Sue. The location is perfect. So much in the area. Beautiful grounds. The water views are awesome
Cons: There is nothing I didn't like. Except my wife and I had to leave.
The Whaler's Inn - Mystic - Building
2
9.3 Excellent (660 reviews)
C$ 257+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at The Whaler's Inn, you'll be centrally located in Mystic, steps from Mystic River Bascule Bridge and within a 10-minute walk of Mystic Arts Center. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Mystic? This hotel features 450 square feet (42 square meters) of event facilities.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was gorgeous and the free water and cookies in the lobby were awesome.
Cons: My dad is handicapped and I was told by the staff at the front desk that when he visited me for a few hours he could park in the spot out front, since the lot is reserved for people who stay there. The spot out front was taken, so when they arrived, I asked if he could park in the lot while we went out to lunch. The lot was almost entirely empty. The answer was no and the two girls at the front desk were not at all helpful in accommodating him. It was extremely upsetting that they wouldn't provide a space for a span of a few hours when all spaces were free in the lot and he can't walk very far. He was unable to come see the room and we were unable to follow through on our original plans and had to make changes. I could not believe a hotel was so stringent about this rule, especially when the day before my friend had stopped by for an hour and a half and they gave her a pass (different people at the desk then). Everything about the hotel was great, but that was a lousy experience. I am still pretty upset about it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Bed was amazing! Love the rocking chairs outside on the porch area.
Cons: Although the place is amazing and it is......maybe slightly overpriced.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Cute, comfy room, great location!
Cons: Wish the shower was bigger and there was a fridge. Also a little more attention to detail cleaning the bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff willing and able to solve problems, great rooms, centrally located.
Cons: parking is limited
9.2 Excellent
Cons: No hot water for shower. Had to wait a long time for warm water.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is clean and beautiful. Decor is lovely, with so much attention to detail. It's right in the heart of Mystic, with views of the drawbridge and river. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The bed was very pretty, but the mattress could have been a bit more luxurious. I'm not sure if it was just our room, but there was no full-length mirror and nowhere to hang your towel while showering. Overall great stay, though!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location great
Cons: Site needs more parking and will book directly in the future to save at lest 20%
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Access to anything we wanted to do was very convenient. The area is easy to navigate. Plenty to do with a great selection of bars and restaurants.
Cons: There was no restaurant of bar in the Inn. Breakfast was off campus, convenient enough but selections were quite different and pretty pricey.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room. The location is outstanding.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The lobby was nice and it was within walking distance of nice shops and Mystic seaport.
Cons: The wing was under renovation. Crane and dumpster outside window; all the floors were terribly uneven, the mattress too soft and the tub wouldn’t hold water. Worst of all was the breakfast at the Grass and Bone restaurant

10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we walked in we were treated well and have nothing but good things to share with people and memories about our trip. Cindy at the front desk (I wish I could remember everyone's name...) and the whole staff were kind, courteous and attentive. The breakfast was an added BONUS!!! Even the coffee was good! And the lime infused water in the lobby was a nice touch!

Overview Reviews

8.3 Excellent
Pros: location excellent to all area attractions home cooked breakfast served
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property was beyond what we had expected. There was much to look at in the house, as there is a bit of history in every room and on every wall. Just when you thought you’ve seen everything, you see something else you hadn’t the first, second or even the third time! Innkeeper Evan’s descriptive nature when talking about anything, whether it be the history of the property, places in town or the breakfast each morning, was very informative and/or entertaining! The food, prepared by Innkeeper Robert, was excellent, and we were accommodated with anything we needed during our stay. It was a much needed mini getaway for us, and House of 1833 was such a pleasant experience! I wish we were able to stay longer! Will look into planning another getaway in the fall time with them :-)
Cons: We would have stayed longer had the price per day been a bit cheaper. It will take us some time to save up again for a return visit
6.7 Good
Pros: The swimming pool was really nice but I needed a machete to cut through the vegetation to get there. Our room was large and very nice, clean too. THe central air condidtioning worked beautifully
Cons: Talk about clutter which the owners described as historic antiques. It was dark and dingy. Breakfast was a true disappointment. It started at 8:30 but the owner said everything was cooked to order--he didn't get to us until 9:00 to take our order and the only option was a honey drizzled eggs benedict or something like that. We opted out. Also, they haven't done any yard work in years.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: History, people,comfort,
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent! Hosts were welcoming!
Cons: The pool area was too overgrown. The pool itself was very clean and we did use it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Charming venue with well established garden environment in an old home crammed full of art, antiques and comfort. A/C was great despite the high summer in early August. Close to many tourist venues and restaurants in the Mystic area. A short trip to my workplace in New London as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Did a great job with my food allergies. I liked the historical decor.
Cons: Pool area could be upgraded a little.
6.3 Good
Pros: The Breakfast was excellent. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful
Cons: The place was overdecorated and not what you would expect from a classic Greek Revival home. The bed mattress was so hard I couldn't get to sleep. My partner was was so uncomfortable he insisted that we leave a day early. There were so many stairs to climb to reach our room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Evan and Robert are wonderful hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very beautiful garden, historic interesting house, charming hosts!

4.6 Okay
Pros: Location. And people in front desk were very good.
Cons: Very dirty, very bad breakfast. We found dirty sucks in the room from previous guests.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Great location.
Cons: Our room was very loud -as we had an ice machine across the hall. Usually those are tucked away behind a door.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful personnel and a decent breakfast. Everyone one from the front desk to the dining crew seemed to be genuinely interested in making our stay enjoyable. Kudos to them for having a map of Mystic with all the high points noted.
Cons: A great deal of noise in the hallway ( early morning) outside our room.
6.5 Good
Cons: This is the third or fourth stay at this hotel. I am a Hilton Honors member and they made no reference to it or acknowledgement of it at check-in. They gave me a hard time about my complimentary bottles of water as a Silver Member saying that the water is only for Gold and Platinum members. Breakfast was really tired and boring. The breakfast team was understaffed and could not keep pace with filling coffee and food. Just overall disappointing visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was fantastic and a great selection to choose from.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location was the only thing I liked about the hotel. It was close to all attractions in Mystic, Ct. I did not eat the breakfast.
Cons: The first room I was given I had to call the office and request another room. The family across the hall had a young child that kept screaming and then running up and down the hall. I needed to sleep after driving 6 hours. They gave me another room down the hall, and someone across the hall from that room had dogs that barked all night. Needless to say, I did not get much sleep. I was totally miserable in the morning and did not even want to stay a minute longer at the hotel for breakfast. I told the attendant I was very unhappy with my stay and would never stay at a Hampton Inn again. I will book at the Hyatt.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: nice bed coverings.
Cons: There was no fan or circulation in the bathroom. The shower curtain had a bad smell and needed to be removed and washed.
7.1 Good
Cons: The front desk associates were not friendly. I work as maintenance manager at a large hotel in NYC and I know that we are required to go out of our way to be friendly to guests. We say good morning and good evening before the guest ever says it to us. We're in the service industry, we are there to serve, and not just take reservations and check-ins, and hand out key farbs or cards. There were two people at the desk, a man and a woman, neither one was friendly. I made the mistake of asking a question about downtown Mystic and they both looked at each other and the one rolled her eyes. I asked if it was too difficult a question: "do you happen to know where Trove, men's provisions store is?" They said in unison "you should google it."
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice breakfast served each morning - great for families (it’s not avocado toast - cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, MYO waffles, toast, muffins, eggs & sausage) Staff friendly and accommodating. Pool is small but sufficient. True Value next door with barbed wire fencing is unfortunate. Close to mystic aquarium, seaport, and Stonington.
6.0 Good
Pros: location
7.5 Good
Cons: Parking was a problem lot fullexcept in the very back. My husband is handicapped. It was a problem
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and ease of getting to our destination in the morning

Pros: The hotel was well-maintained and the staff was attentive to all of our needs. It offered a spa, Starbucks, and steakhouse on sight! Highly recommend!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great rooms, nice pool, Starbucks shop in the lobby, with a great buffet and decent steakhouse for dinner.
Cons: A lot of construction happening when we were there, hot tub was also not working properly, but generally minor gripes.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room was spacious, cozy and modern. the bed was super comfy and the room service was fantastic. Breakfast wasn't the great but was ok. you can plug your Netflix account into the TV so we could carry on watching our shows which was a plus.
Cons: I contacted the hotel before our arrival to say that we are celebrating our anniversary however they did't bother to do anything special not even a complimentary bottle of water, which I found a little strange.. given the fact that while we were checking in the receptionist said "Happy anniversary!" so I was thinking they must have did something awesome but they did not.

Cons: No
10.0 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room was comfortable; pool was good and open to a good hour;
Cons: No free continental breakfast like many other hotels;
6.3 Good
Pros: Room was very comfortable. And the proximity to the casino was great.
Cons: The view in the room wasn't the view we were informed we would have. Instead of lake view we had parking lot/ check in view. Attempted to eat in Lounge area but after 20 minutes of no service the waitress came to take order of nachos and drinks. After another 20 mins they comped us the nachos and still hadn't brought the drinks so we just went back to our room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: New renovations look great!
Cons: Not very disabled friendly, I could not even get to the pool, trouble getting in and out of room. Towels kept outside of handicapped bathroom. Very noisy, the air conditioning made a loud bang each time it clicked on and off. Thin walls, could also hear every neighbor. Hallway very noisy, sound comes directly under room door. But, hopefully owners will make some adjustments, they seem very sincere about making changes.

7.9 Good
Pros: Enjoyed our stay. The room was New England cozy. Wish we had time to stay longer.
Cons: Didn't enjoy the kids running down the hallway at night knocking on the door, or the young adults hanging out in the parking lot hooting and hollering. Thankfully neither situation lasted too long.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet, comfortable and friendly. Numerous food choices, all within walking distance. Movie theater and beach. Lots of little shops. All right here.
7.5 Good
Cons: Not updated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The entire Inn, the room and the property, are the cleanest I've been in! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is great with shops, restaurants, and the beach within walking distance. They even have a propane grill for guests to use with outdoor seating if you prepare your own meal or two. Amazingly the furnishings, etc, are older, but phenomenally maintained. There are even live plants in those old wall ashtrays in the hallways - nice touch!
6.3 Good
Pros: Large room. Nice shelf.
Cons: Noisy. People in the room above sounded like elephants all night long. The front desk lady said ‘sorry to hear that’, but didn’t even take her eyes off the computer; let alone offer a discount or breakfast coupon to make up for it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Large, quiet room in an excellent, with easy access to the boardwalk and beach and local establishments on Main Street. It also provided easy access to the Cross Sound Ferry, which we took the next morning for our onward travel.
Cons: Be aware that there is no on-site facility for breakfast, although the room did have a refrigerator and microwave.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The rugs were cleaned very nicely.
Cons: There was no breakfast....always a bummer. But for the money we paid just to stay over night was ridiculous. And the locks on the doors were not child safe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about the town of niantic and the niantic inn will be our go to spot in the future when we come back to niantic. The hole in the wall beach. Having the beach across the street was perfect and we were allowed to park at the inn prior to checking in which was appreciated. Allison gave us a pass to enter the beach instead of having to pay. We walked in the park and found another beach over the hill. Location to party an evening at sunset ribs was a perfect 6 mins away. There's 2 or more restaurants next door on the water that we heard live music bands coming out of them. Well Definetly return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice big room, everything clean and nice and work well, great location about a 10-minute walk from the beach.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: location was within walking distance of the beach and restaurants

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: The hotel was fine but i got scammed by booking .com. Worst experience of my life.
Cons: I got scammed. Upon booking an original reservation when i went back to finalize everything the dates changed so i had to cancel it. Upon cancelling, i was told the only way i could was to buy a google play card for $340. Upon purchasing from Rite Aid, and giving you the code, i was told it wasn’t working on your server so i would be credited on my credit card(which obviosly I was not, and then had to purchase another one at Walgreens. So now i’m out $680. Upon guving them the code for the second one i realized the scam because they said no, this was not rught that i was suppose to buy a set of cards. To continue, after telling the hotel what happened supposedly they gave me a good number to cancel only to start the whole scam again. I called this number five times and was hung up on.

Pros: Everything except the breakfast.
Cons: The breakfast wasn’t good.

Pros: It's hard to say what I liked best about this hotel. It is in a great location for sites, attractions, and Foxwood's casino. It has very nice rooms that was a waste to only stay one night. The staff is one of the nicest staffs we ever in countered.gr8place
Cons: Not that we didn't like it; it doesn't have the best breakfast or set up for breakfast but we had our own mini kitchen.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness. Staff were very helpful. Quiet and an excellent breakfast. Would stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and comfy for a family vacation.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast was good, so over crowded. You were at full capacity and the workers/ cooks were non- stop working and refilling, but it was so crowded, lines non stop for the 40 minutes we were there. Coffee bar was excellent and that helped a lot.
5.0 Okay
Pros: not what we are used to from a Marriott
Cons: very noisy... musty smell
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The gentleman at the front desk the night we checked in was one of the friendliest and most accommodating hotel staff I have ever encountered.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I was very happy with the room and staff. The facilities were mostly excellent. The breakfast was really good. The location was hard to beat in Mystic.
Cons: I booked this room on booking.com based on the fact that the photos show a hot tub next to the pool. Additionally, the listing on booking.com clearly says it has a hot tub/jacuzzi. The hot tub has been filled in and tiled over. They did a really good job, but you can see that the hot tub is no longer present at the hotel. I can understand this as there is a cost associated with maintaining hot tubs. However, the booking.com listing says this is present and this heavily convinced me to book the room. I feel that I would have not paid this price knowing that the hot tub was not there anymore and feel that booking.com did not do a good job at guaranteeing the accuracy of the listing. Additionally, the net was missing on the tennis court. I was sad about this as well, but the lack of the hot tub was a real annoyance to me.
7.5 Good
Cons: Said it had a hot tub and it was closed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the jacuzzi in the room
Cons: Indidnt like that the pool was in a separate building
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is in an ideal location It has easy highway access. It was less than 10 minutes to the aquarium. The breakfast was delicious. They had plenty of choices, and everything was fresh. We will definitely return in the near future.
Cons: I have no complaints

Pros: We had a wonderful stay
6.7 Good
Pros: Staff was courteous. Great central location.
Cons: Swimming pool not available. Ice machine on our floor out of order. Breakfast wasn’t as good as it has been in the past.
6.7 Good
Pros: Room was comfortable,
Cons: Could not get Hilton points,. Not sure why
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. Staff did a great job of keeping everything plentiful. Location of Breakfast is great and plenty of space.
Cons: The pool was not open and I was really looking forward to a relaxing swim in the pool before bed. I specifically booked your hotel because it had a pool. Unfortunately I just stayed at another Hampton Inn in Burlington, VT an again the pool was closed. I was very upset by this.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room and overall hotel was impeccably clean. We had ample supplies and staff was polite and eager to please.
Cons: We were on the third floor which was fine but the hallways were extremely HOT I dont believe they were air conditioned at all. Also the room A/C was battery operated and only went as low as 67 so the room was a steady 72 ugh
7.1 Good
Pros: Overall the stay was good untill we were infested with baby wood ants mostly in the area of the tv .
Cons: Not finding ants swarming in our room within a 30 minute time span.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Staff and food available was good.
Cons: Carpet in our room was disgusting with stains and tears. There were stains on the dining chairs. Elevator looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time ... smudges everywhere. Lobby and elevator smelled like a stale cigarette.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Far too expensive for a Hampton Inn
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect--very close to Mystic Seaport. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a small refrigerator in the room and breakfast was included as well as tea and coffee throughout the day. We were on the 4th floor and it was quiet.
Cons: The pool was not heated (or properly heated) and we could only use it once due to a mishap, though the personnel said we could use the pool down the road at another hotel. Since this was not that type of vacation, this did not overly affect us. All and all, a good experience and we would stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Convenient location. Wonderful staff.
5.0 Okay
Cons: First, the bathroom door is a sliding door from the closet, almost like a pocket door which does not actually close all the way. There was no toilet paper and housekeeping did not clean the room for two days!! The sign was not out for privacy and the second day they said oh we are so busy with all the checkouts....maybe you take care of the rooms of people that are still there?
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Fix the tv in the room

9.2 Excellent
Pros: From the service and breakfast to the equipment we were very satisfied with everything. Good value for money. Thank you

7.5 Good
Cons: They were painting the elevator in the afternoon. My husband was in a wedding party and his black shirt he had on a hanger by slightly grazing where the guy was painting while trying to get in the elevator to get to our room to get ready. He got some white paint on his shoulder of his dress shirt. He was able to cover it by his dress coat. But I think the painting of the elevator should’ve been done later in the day. Not when it was busy and a Saturday and a majority of people staying there were for the wedding.

Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: There should have been additional shuttles provided for the Labor Day holiday weekend. Saturday night we missed getting on the shuttle to Mohegan that we waited 15 minutes for because we were told it could only accomodate 13 and we were #14 and 15. EXACT same thing happened returning to the hotel from Mohegan - had to wait for the next shuttle after that one and almost didn't get on because people were saying they had been waiting 45 minutes for a shutle -I find that hard to believe because they should have been prioritized on the prior shuttle!!

Pros: Close to where we were going.
Cons: Rear door, despite’s signs that said it did, never locks. Small rooms
6.3 Good
Cons: larger pillows, cleaner shower.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were very friendly, pleasant and accommodating. When we first entered our room out room safe was locked. I called the front desk and within minutes someone was at our door to open it. Then we realized the lights weren't coming on to lock the safe and the attendant left stating she was going to send the manager to our room. I don't think 2 minutes had passed when the manager was at our door and fixed the problem. They were awesome for guest services. The hotel is centrally located, convenient to get to all the attractions. The breakfast was none like I'd ever had, generally continental breakfasts consist of cereal, fruit and toast. This breakfast every day was eggs, bacon or sausage, hot waffles, bagels, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, coffee and tea.
7.5 Good
Pros: The mattress was VERY COMFORTABLE!!
4.2 Okay
Pros: Staff was pleasant but did not follow through with room issues. Then someone on staff lied to booking.com staff regarding what was said & offered to us regarding our room. Breakfast was good but not enough seating for size of hotel. Very close to aquarium & shops
Cons: Hotel smelled of mildew. Room had chipped paint falling off ceiling, red stains on carpet & wall & toilet seat was peeling & disgusting! That should have been replaced! Grout was black in the bathroom also which should have been light grey. No wipes in the gym to wipe equipment. Staff said would calls us to possibly change rooms but never called us. upon checkout told assistant manager what our room was like & was told would give you a credit but we cannot because you did not book through us!! Then told booking.com staff that was never mentioned. Very unprofessional. Hotel needs major renovations. Its too bad because location is great! But these rooms are not worth over $200 a night on a weekend.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Clean, convenient to shopping, restaurants and attractions. Easy to find, plenty of parking.
Cons: Hotel is nice but definitely needs updating. Carpet in halls/rooms is outdated and should be replaced. First floor has a large bleach spot on it. Weekday breakfast was poor, but weekend had scrambled eggs and sausage. Front desk personnel were great!
7.5 Good
Pros: Matress was very good. Very close to the aquarium and harbour.
Cons: bathroom smelled a bit like pee.....maybe its the cleaner they use (I hope) bathroom fan did not work. This is a very busy hotel with a lot of 1 night turn over I think....the cleaning staff is busy and in the halls well past check in time 3 pm.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Lamp shades both broken, bathroom tub faucet broken which made it hard to get cold water. Matress way too soft.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: The room smelled. The room above us had kids running over our heads at 5am
6.7 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: I reserved a two bed room, when I got there they told me that they only had a king bed and a sofa rooms because the hotel was overbooked and I was checking in late so basically this place is a first come first served me mentality, it doesn’t matter what you reserved.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff were very friendly and the facility was clean. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of coffee.
Cons: While it didn’t affect my stay, the rooms need maintenance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and wonderful staff!
Cons: Nothing bad at all!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean. The staff was very friendly. Air conditioning worked well , the room was nice and cool when we arrived.
Cons: Would have liked some ventilation in the bathroom. After showering it was very hot and mirror fogged up. My husband and son were still sleeping when I was getting ready so I couldnt open the door to let air in.

Pros: very convenient to Block Island Ferry which was my first consideration. Excellent desk staff who allowed us to check in an hour early so we could make the dinner run on the ferry.
Cons: morning coffee was kind of weak and I wish OJ was part of breakfast buffet
1.0 Poor
Pros: Cleanliness and How close it was to Amtrak
Cons: They have Hidden fees & slip a paper under your door in the morning. They don't explain what they are. The Front Desk will try to explain it but without empathy. I wouldn't care if I was told up front about the charge/s but don't hit me with fees
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This Holiday in is close to ferries to Block and Long Island. Also, train station. Very clean, nice size rooms. Bathroom was also very clean. Beds were comfortable! Breakfast buffet had good choices and coffee was also available in room and lobby. Would stay again.
Cons: No issues.
7.9 Good
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Bedding was clean but the bedskirt looked dirty and like it had never been washed. Personally didn’t bother me too much because you don’t sleep on the bedskirt, but still a bit gross. Overall everything else was perfectly clean. I would stay here again.
