Pros: The food was plentiful for snacks, staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of cleaning personnel that did not disturb guests. The hotel in is in an excellent location as is very popular amongst couples of all ages. Spanish style with romantic touch, neatly decorated.
Cons: for the mini suite ( and price) we hoped for the view side of the hotel but got the street side instead. it was nice anyways but would have enjoyed the other side of the hotel better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the gift basket and the balcony. I loved the jet tub and the easy access to the beach and night club. Loved the wine and snacks and pie
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff and accommodations were amazing. This hotel thinks of everything down to the hospitality baskets that are in your room at check in. Everything your heart would desire! There is a full kitchen but who has to cook with all the extras they supply throughout your day. What hotel has corona's and a nacho bar at 2 in the afternoon not to mention the hot pies served sharply at 8. Can't wait till we come back!!
8.8 Excellent

Cons: Bed was very firm somewhat uncomfortable.

Pros: It sits right on the beach. The views are amazing! The accommodation were beyond my expectations.
Cons: The restaurant on the property wasn’t very family friendly. It was fancy and the menu was expensive and limiting. We chose to leave the property to eat.

Pros: Huge room, nice staff, fully stocked kitchen in room, nice beach, luxurious.
Cons: Smaller of two rooms was beachside. I wish the master had had the ocean view. It would have been nice to have a few spots to sit and gaze at the ocean. A few benches throughout the property and some adirondack chairs to bring a glass of wine at sunset would be great.

Cons: We arrived around 8pm, the room was already payed by us prio arrival and we were informed by arrival that they almost noted a no show and wanted to give the room away. Fortunately we arrived just in time, but we were a little upset about this. Luckily all went good in the end.

Pros: Beautiful view, clean and comfortable. Staff is excellent!

Pros: Breakfast was much better when I stayed in this hotel last year.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great view! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is perched on a cliff above the ocean. It is just a little outside of Pismo Beach so it was quiet, yet close to everything. The access to the cove made it easy to get to the water. Beautiful views and ability to observe many kinds of birds as they nest and fly. The room was modern and comfortable. The staff was great!
Cons: We spent the first night in a room overlooking the pool. The pool area was brightly lit all night which prevented us from leaving a window open for ventilation. The A/C was very loud and disrupted our sleep. However, Mary Beth at the front desk bent over backwards to move us to different room. They cleaned the new room early and moved our bags over. Great service recovery.

Pros: They offered a glass of wine and cookie at check-in. A happy hour at the restaurant and complimentary apple cider in the refrigerator. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely
Cons: Facing the parking lot
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had the best stay! The Apple Farm is a beautiful hotel. Our room was huge, comfortable beds and a nice sitting area. The hotel provided local wine happy hour, fresh baked cookies and coupons that we used for breakfast. We took the trolley into downtown both nights for dinner, which our toddler loved. And all staff were really nice, can't wait to stay again and wish we'd tried this hotel before!

Pros: Lovely room with great view of the ocean. Amazing pool with beach towels. Well located in Pismo beach.
Cons: Breakfast was a little chaotic having to fight for a table! If you do not like birds this is not the place for you, huge seagulls and pelicans everywhere around the hotel ( this isn’t a complaint just a warning if you have any sort of bird phobia)

Pros: Everything!
6.8 Good
Pros: PRO: The hotel is on a beautiful cliff next to the see. The entryhall and rooms are nice
Cons: CONTRA: Unfortunately the breakfast is horrbile, as they have 300plus guests and only place for 20 ppl in the breakfast room. Also the quality of the food and the selection is very low for the price you pay. Furthermore the hotel is covered by lots of animal and birds that poop on every place of the hotel, so your stay you feel unconfortable sometimes, allthough the staff tryies hard to clean things up. Overall you pay far to much for what you get

Pros: The bed and pillows were like a cloud. The outdoor swing was a nice perk and The sunset view from the hotel was spectacular!

Pismo Lighthouse Suites - Pismo Beach - Building

9.1 Excellent (1,616 reviews)
C$ 375+
Overview Reviews
Family Friendly Oceanfront Getaway. All-suite oceanfront family hotel set atop the bluffs in Pismo Beach with spacious two room / two bath suites. Sports deck with family with ping pong, putting greens and badminton, free Wi-Fi and complimentary expanded continental breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. The family suite was perfect for us... comfortable, lots of room as well as separation. Very impressed with the setup. The kids area was nice and I say that because my kids are older. 23, 18 & 15. We goofed around there a bit but I was slightly afraid it was going to be too noisy and crazy. It wasn't and the blue lighting at night made it peaceful sitting out on the balcony in the evenings. Very nice touch. Easy walk to the beach. Loved the person who checked us in, she was so friendly and helpful but unfortunately I don't remember her name. Nice pool & spa area.
Cons: The breakfast dishes could have been a bit better. All of the cold stuff was fine. The eggs (powdered?) were kind of wet on both days and the sausage so so, maybe try a different band. It wasn't bad (other than the eggs) but could be improved a bit. That's my only single minor complaint.
7.5 Good
Pros: Comfortable room, nice views and fun playdeck.
Cons: The room was very light, the shutters looked nice, but didn’t keep out the light well. Breakfast was poor. And room was very noisy: you could the people above talking and walking (wooden floors?). We stayed for two nights, which was too long in Pismo. Not a great place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views and very friendly staffs

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellant place. Quiet. Private casitas. Great patio for morning breakfast on the patio. Pat had coffee waiting for us, and Tony has an outstanding breakfast in the morning. Superb hosts! And Kona was eager to satisfy my doggie fix.
Cons: No chocolate on on second night! Geez - that’s the worst thing? This was the ONLY thing my wife - who is super picky - came up with!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the absolute perfect place to stay...charming, secluded, romantic, clean. The owners were friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the views were spectacular. We can’t wait to go back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pat and Tony were incredible. My fiance and I had such a wonderful time during our short stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was amazing and their attention to detail is incredible. We will definitely be going back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A bit secluded so VERY quiet. Amazing breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: The casitas and the grounds were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Couldn't have been more pleased with the surrounding property, the Sonrisa room we stayed in, and the views were AMAZING!! We will likely return, but we will be sure that the OWNERS (not a "replacement") are there hosting us on our next trip to the property....
Cons: My boyfriend and I were there during a recent Monday - Friday stay at the end of October, and unfortunately, we did not get to meet the owners of the casitas until the last day of our stay. We knew this in advance, however, since the owners did tell us that they'd be out of town the week we arrived. We were told that someone would be there in the owner's place to make us the daily breakfasts and ensure we enjoyed our stay. When we arrived on Monday, we were greeted by "Caroline" and she informed us that we had the whole estate to ourselves for the week! We were very excited about this, and looked forward to enjoying our stay to the fullest. Caroline was very nice, but as the week progressed, we felt that she was not very attentive to our needs. For example, we were given the choice of the time we wanted breakfast served to us, and we requested 8:30am. But every day during our stay, she always arrived 15-20 minutes early (sometimes before we were up and able to answer the door) and she seemed rushed - like she was in a hurry to leave. This was in stark contrast to our last day, when the owners arrived with breakfast at 8:30 on the nose, and were very kind, friendly, chatted with us, and even checked on us not long after we finished our breakfast. The issue with Caroline that bothered us the most was each day after she served us breakfast, we would usually stay at the casita to enjoy the property until around 1:30 or 2:00 pm each day, and we would never see or hear from her after she delivered breakfast. We had our "privacy please" sign posted on the door until that time, but when we'd leave for the day and leave the sign out asking for the room "to be cleaned", we came back to a room after 9pm that still had dirty dishes, dirty towels, full trash cans, unmade bed, etc. It seemed to us that since we were the only guests at the estate, we were being ignored after breakfast was served.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pat and Tony were great hosts. The breakfasts were were homemade. It was a peaceful location and I also enjoyed the gardens.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, private casitas in a pastoral setting. Nearby to wineries and Arroyo Grande Village. Pat and Tony are great host.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing and the room was beautiful was breathtaking views!

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was excellent and we got a free upgrade. Can't beat the location, easy access off the highway and into town.
Cons: No place for the dog to do her thing. The breakfast buffet was nothing to write home about.
7.5 Good
Pros: Everything was sufficient.
Cons: Needed a little more maintenance.
7.5 Good
Pros: Helpful staff. Nice decor.
Cons: The first room we were given was gorgeous, but smelled like pet urine. The desk clerk immediately moved us to a different room and upgraded us. I did appreciate that. Our second room was very nice.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and amenities
Cons: The sink and toilet in our first room did not work. The breakfast is very mediocre
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was spacious and clean. The coffee at breakfast was good. It was right off the 101 and easy to find.
Cons: The parking here is a disaster. It’s very difficult to have more than one car coming in or out of the driveway at a time. My husband has difficulty with his knees and our room was up 3 flights of steps. Also I think the ac unit was on the roof above our bed because when it was on in the room I kept hearing a strange gurgling sound coming from the ceiling.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Room very nice and breakfast excellent.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great little hotel in San Juan Obispo, we stayed for one night on our way from LA to San Francisco. Beautiful room in the style of English manor, big and comfortable for 3 people. I liked the decor and the "european" feel of the room. Beautiful bathroom. Very quiet and clean. The included breakfast was ok. Parking was available, free and very accesible.
Cons: The overall selection of the breakfast buffet could be a little better, but the food was good.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Family above us with kids and baby. Parents let them run wild. Couldn’t sleep until they did even with help of sleeping pill. Running and jumping on beds along with upset baby
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Beds - super comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was fantastic. We were in the “Craftsman” building so the room was done in early tones with craftsman style furniture, lighting and decor. The bed was super comfy. Check in staff were very friendly and gave us some good dinner recommendations.
Cons: Breakfast was just ok. The scrambled eggs were cold and the Starbucks coffee was really weak.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was everything for me. I don't drink and drive, but Uber is always an option.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I loved how cozy everything felt along with having ample space in my suite. Old style furniture was great. I loved being really close to downtown amenities. Fresh baked goods every night and a hot breakfast at 8 were also very nice.
Cons: Water pressure in my room was extremely low making the shower a bit difficult. The lock in my door stuck a bit making getting into my room sometimes challenging. There was not an iron or board in my room so I had to borrow their one iron and iron on towels. Parking was also 2 blocks away. Windows don't quite fit so it is extremely challenging to actually lock the windows--you must apply a lot of force to slide the lock while
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was delicious and the staff very accommodating
Cons: No on site parking, though there is validated parking at a near by public parking facility.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We booked this last minute on a road trip. It was a great B&B. The staff was welcoming. The property and room was clean. The breakfast was delicious. I also really liked the location downtown.
Cons: I realize that it is a B&B, but the room was furnished like grandma's house. It could use an update in my opinion, but others would probably love the rustic charm.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is great - you can walk all around town. We stayed on a Sunday night on the 2nd floor and it was very quiet except for a large trash truck in the morning. The room was lovely and very clean. We arrived early and were allowed to get into our room as it was ready. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. NOTE: there is no parking near the Inn - they give you a parking pass for a public lot a couple blocks away - so if you have any mobility issues walking back and forth to the parking lot, it might be a problem. If no mobility issues, grab the local street map at the front desk and have a great time walking around a wonderful city - check out the Mission, Dalidett Adobe, Bubblegum Alley. Many great restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The parking situation was ok, but a bit awkward.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was such a delightful stay! I loved the home baked goods that (I think its the owner) cooked for the day and breakfast. SO DELICIOUS!! Staff were warm welcoming. Room was clean, vintage looking ( which i loved) and quiet. Major plus was the hotel being literally in downtown of SLO. Literally 3-5 minute walk to stores etc. Super convenient. Also it was the BEST darn breakfast we have ever had. It was mentioned it would be no meat (I was dismayed) but holy moly - my husband and i understood the raving about the food here! It was sooooo good and satisfying. Thank you!!
Cons: Just minor ones: Parking isnt located at the establishment itself. Its just around the corner in a parking garage. Take a ticket and hotel card, when you leave just give it to the person and you're good to go. We dont pay for parking. Second was the Jacuzzi tub. I didnt know our room came with one (I was excitied) but found it didnt work? I asked one of the staff and I got the impression that its there...but it doesnt get used? Nor it will be kind of thing. Then what's the point?lol Since i didnt initially look specifically for that in our room, I didnt make a big deal. If I did, then it would be a different story.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the breakfast and localization
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location in SLO. We walked everywhere! The staff were all friendly and most helpful. The room was quaint and comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful.
Cons: Our room had a soaking tub which doubled as a shower. It was treacherous getting in and out of it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room Tasteful breakfast Very kind staff
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We got the smallest room based on our booking. But ove very nice
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was lovely. Quaint hotel. Good position. Good Wifi. Lovely breakfast.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, limo/town car service, and express check-out. 4.2 Okay
Cons: Noisy AC unit or generator outside bedroom. Woke me up 800am.
5.0 Okay
Pros: My husband and I like the dining room and the coffee shop.
Cons: The room was very small, the location was bad (3rd floor facing the stairway). We could not sleep because of the people were going up and down the stairway until 5:00 am, no elevator (very hard to carry heavy luggage), the room does not have enough electrical outlets (looking to plug our computers and cellphones), the bathroom does not have a counter, very hard to find a place to put accessories, and it does not have a place to hang wet towels. We were out of the room for the whole day during our second day stay, when we came back as soon as we opened the room the smell was very bad especially the closet. Our stay did not meet our expectations. We heard a lot about nice things of Madonna Inn and now that we have stayed, I don't think we can recommend the place. Our neighbor, before we left for San Luis Obispo to stay at Madonna Inn, asked to give us feedback about the place because she was planning to visit the place anytime soon. I am very sorry for this review. I hope something will be done.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff and great food at the Willows restaurant.
Cons: The breakfast was a bit of a let down...scrambled eggs and sausage weren’t very nice and there was no bacon.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good. Hotel is right on the beach with great view. Hotel has also nice pool area on the seaside.
Cons: Breakfast area is very small and busy. It was difficult to find space to sit as a family as there were merely individual seats there and there. Also room for picking up food is far too small compared to the size of the hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, warm and friendly check in, modern and clean room, wonderful areas to enjoy the view and well laid out central facilities. Will definitely be back with the family.
Cons: Do find it quite ridiculous that one must order wine from their room and that only option is wine and beer. In order for us to enjoy a G&T on the beautiful property we had to go out. In addition, while you can order food for take out, you have to go and collect and then get utensils from reception.. A first for us.

Pros: Fantastic boutique hotel in a perfect downtown location! Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great little bar and bistro attached to the hotel and a cool upper deck patio with an outdoor fireplace. It has the feel of a little European Inn. Absolutely one of my favorite hotels!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For me the most important part of an environment is the lighting, and it was perfect! Soft, intimate, and wonderfully welcoming. The design and furniture are memorable. The bed and shower are luxurious. And the service is priceless: they brought chocolate truffles to our room!! I can't wait to go back!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location and breakfast was special
Cons: The lighting in the Galway’s could be improved. As is, it is a little dangerous.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the design of the hotel, the featured brickwork, the originality of the decor and furniture, the general plan of the rooms and sitting areas.....really a pleasant experience to stay there. The location was perfect, and the front desk gave excellent suggestions when asked.
Cons: Better coffee.....not strong enough. Oatmeal cookies are a very nice touch and delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the look and overall feel of the hotel. Very well executed in every way. My husband got the romance package and it was lovely! I enjoyed the chocolates, flowers and wine!

Pros: breakfast was good could have been a little more organized
Cons: nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was good and filled my whole family up. The beds were comfy and the restroom was clean. It was nice to have a small fridge and microwave.
Cons: The bartender with glasses was rude to my sister and did not give her alchohol despite showing ID. He just wasn't having it with her and decided she wasn't worth giving a drink. Also, the cards to our rooms weren't working well and it took several trip and a technician to figure it out. The water was cold at first so we called front desk and within 2 hrs it finally became warm. Not enough towels and too overcrowded in the pool and jacuzzi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the care they give to their customers
Cons: Nothing, I loved the hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amenities & close location to the beach
Cons: Their breakfast need to be extended & available till 9:30-10:00.. most people are on vacation & don't want to rush to make it to breakfast.

Pros: The room was large, well maintained and clean. Bed was super comfy.
Cons: Parking was a commodity after sunset.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great property and friendly staff.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good.
Cons: Not enough parking
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was perfect and the staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel has a nice bar, is very reasonably priced, and the lady tending the bar was excellent. We also received bar vouchers for two free drinks each upon check-in. Four minute drive to the beach.
Cons: The bar closes at 21:30 probably to avoid the outside area disturbing the guests. Perhaps, the outside bar area could be closed off at 21:30 and the inside remain open.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location and breakfast are fine. The bed was very comfortable
Cons: Well i am 60 years old and have been to 100's of hotels including Oxford Suites many times and have never been told that if we checked in early we would have to pay $15.00 more. We arrived at 2:00 and were told our room was ready, but it would cost $15.00 more to check in early!! Seriously!!! I have passed this on to so many people and nobody has ever experienced this at any other hotel. Also the person next to our Room #149 sat outside of our door and smoked....it was like someone was smoking in our room!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness was absolutely awesome!

Pros: Room was large and well equipped and clean. Free apples:), parking was decent, grounds well maintained. Breakfast was tasty. Staff all friendly and helpful

Pros: The breakfast was very good, saved us lots of money from having to go out! The cocktail hour was so fun! We made friends from all over and the atmosphere was so nice and comfortable. Pros: Location, lobby, grounds, restaurant.
Cons: Hot tub water appeared unsanitary/dirty.
7.5 Good
Pros: The beds were very comfortable.
Cons: We forgot shampoo for our small ones. Front desk ran out but advised they would send someone up with the complimentary shampoo. They never arrived. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay! Loved the beach.
7.5 Good
Pros: View was beautiful. Restaurant food was good.
Cons: Could use some updating. Pool very crowded and not very relaxing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is truly a unique experience. It's beautiful and each room is carefully decorated to give guests a stay like no other. I would love to return to drink at the gorgeous bar and dine at the steakhouse. Great place for a couple's or girls' getaway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views from the suites, we booked a standard queen room but decided to upgrade from within the premises and we enjoyed our view and our stay.
6.3 Good
Pros: I liked the view . And the location.
Cons: I did not like the room. I felt it was not the cleanest . Especially the bathroom
5.5 Okay
Cons: Not a lot to do. Or if there was we didn’t know about it. The front desk agent just checked us in gave us a little map of the property and that was it. So we didn’t do much but swim at the pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is amazing and pool
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautiful; in a good neighborhood. We felt safe there. The pool was lovely, just like the pictures. They offered the kids hot coco with marshmallows in the evening. The staff was friendly. We enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for making our Summer vacation great!
Cons: The first room was small, and had the view of the valet parking. So we really could not open the open the large, white blinds because people could see into our room. The air conditioner in our first room broke down. It dripped all night. They immediately remedied the problem, upgraded our room that morning. Our next room was larger with a great view of the pool. They also gave us breakfast coupons for the rest of the week. They have a nice restaurant, so it was a great treat.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and hotel staff were amazing!
Cons: Bathroom was extremely small in our room. We figured it would be larger for the cost of the room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Free margaritas, kids were happy
Cons: No smoking anywhere, need my marijuana in the morning. Medical
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The beach access was on site and easy to find. The beach was semi-private and has a lot of exploring for my family. There was a pool and spa but it was very crowded and did not use it. There is a luxury spa available with extra fees that sounded nice but something we didn't budget for. The restaurant on site smelled delicious and there was a long wait but was a little too pricey for my whole family; maybe if it was just my partner and I.
Cons: I didn't like the price for the quality of the room. Overall, it was comfortable and suited our needs but for $419 for a 2 queen room, it was not the best. The room's furniture was not of a resort hotel's quality. The walls are thin and can hear doors slamming.

Pros: Location Ocean view easy parking wonderful experience. Third time here
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view was spectacular from our patio.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice grounds! Great fire pits and they provide a s’mores package for $10! Kids enjoyed the pool & hot tub till 10pm. Clean updated rooms
Cons: No A/C in our unit & ground floor so we didn’t want to sleep with the window open. A little warm & stuffy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Staff was friendly. Clean
5.8 Okay
Cons: The room was not every clean, big stains on carpet and the whole carpet was dirty, room needs up dating.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location with a beautiful view of the water!! Clean rooms, attentive staff and a heated pool!
Cons: No A/C in the rooms. For most that may be okay because being right on the water the temperature drops at night but I run hot and even with the window open some nights were uncomfortable for me.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location has easy acccess to highway & about 10 minute drive to town. The concierge staff was pleasant & was accommodating when we needed to change to a cleaner room.
Cons: I thought the price was was way too high for a facility that needs carpet cleaning and upgrades to furnishings. The coffee maker in the room worked sometime, there were a man's whisker trimmings in and around the sink, the second day's stay the cleaning staff only put in clean towels. They didn't make the beds or replenish coffee supplies. We were occupying a second room; the first room had a clodded sink and the room smelled like vomit of which was backing out of the sink. My guess is, the cleaning staff is way under staffed or don't know how to organize their work load. I, also think we should have received a reduction to our fee for having to move from a room with a decent view to one with no view next to a noisy ice machine and laundry noise very early in the morning.
7.7 Good
Pros: Oceanfront property.. nice landscape.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location and views.
Cons: No AC in room, so had to leave windows open. Some people were loud walking by after we had already went to bed and the garbage truck woke us very early in morning. Wasn’t advertised that there was no AC.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place is almost perfect... the view stole my heart
Cons: rooms get a bit stuffy at night in the summer.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The landscape on the ocean side is nice.
Cons: The room was small, the ceiling fan made a noise, the footstool which is supposed to be white was grey from filth, there are no individual chairs or table, there was no a/c, the flame in the fireplace was very weak.

3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Very put off by rude staff members in lobby. So unpleasant and make you feel so unwelcome!
Cons: The night lobby clerk was so rude to guests at the pool. She was challenging guests for being cautious not opening pool gate for her when she forgot her keys.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, nice decor, decent breakfast.
Cons: Wish the pool was bigger.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: overpriced, noisy, bad distribution of the rooms, careless staff, vacuuming at 7:30 in the morning on a Sunday. Dump and dark rooms, poorly illuminated, smelly and poorly decorated. The fancy hispanic lobby doesn't reflect the room quality even being a king size with squeeky bed and por lining.
Cons: everything

Pros: Very nice and clean hotel beachfront. Love the decor.
Cons: It did not feel kid friendly.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Quiet room
Cons: We booked for Ocean view instead got parking lot view.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The bed and pillows so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. Also loved all the fun free things available to use for kids to enjoy , bike riding, sand toys and boogie boards.
Cons: Very difficult to get a spot to relax on first floor lounge area by fire many people (not paying guests)were always there. We knew they were not paying guests because they said so
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was beautiful! The staff very friendly. Loves the offers to use beach chairs and roast s’mores.
Cons: The construction going on next door was really loud and took away from the peacefulness we were hoping to get at the beach. It would start as early as 7am and even with our sliding door closed, it was loud and woke us up. No chance to sleep with an ocean breeze or the sound of crashing waves, just loud machinery. The room was mainly clean. The bathroom was outdated and needed some work. The grout in the shower was dirty and the toilet was too close to the door.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. Never drove the car after we checked in, able to walk everywhere. Had sooo much fun !! Our room was clean and very spacious.
Cons: xxx
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location directly onto the beach. Access to body boards etc. Gas fires for s'mores.
Cons: Breakfast very poor due to non-availability of some menu items and poor quality items. Excessive and not very attractive use of plastic for cutlery, bowls etc. Reception generally helpful but “busy” and less attentive for checkout
6.8 Good
Pros: spacious room, close to beach, friendly staff, onsite parking
Cons: It’s an old hotel that was renovated so the room is not new like expected from the photos, bathroom could have used some love (there was a hair in the tub, ants roaming around and rust on the side of the tub..). Although this is a Nea from resort, we were placed in a completely separated building st the beach of the parking lot so felt like a roadside motel and not what we had paid for.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and close to the beach .
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The upgrade room thanks
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very close to ocean, patios in front of hotel are very nice fire pits couches comfy chairs. You can walk to all of downtown Pismo from hotel. Would stay again.

Pros: The breakfast, the fact that it is near freeway. I was granted early check in. Close parking lot.
Cons: The pictures didn't show the acute size of room. The carpet was stained badly. The view was horrible. There was an annoying humming sound all day and night. I was charged an additional $85 without my knowledge. The additional sofa bed was very very incomparable. The fridge never got cold.

Pros: Embassy Suites are cool! Great amenities and room layout. Love the happy hour and breakfast!
Cons: This property had some logistical issues.. checked in after 4 pm and room was not ready.. had to wait another hour.. not good after a long drive.. then was surprised by the number of plates, etc left out in halls that had not been picked up. Many obviously from breakfast!!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was very good
Cons: room was not vacuumed and drapes were broken. Couch bed had springs protruding through. Took 3 hours and 3 requests to get more towels and pillows. Cons: Our room has a fireplace in the balcony with a hot tub. The hotel itself was located right on the beach. Strolling along the service desk was an incredible experience. We ordered room service and the food was fabulous!
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a good location, directly on the beach. The best thing about this hotel was the private hot tub on the balcony. The restaurant is very good. It's expensive but worth the money, as the quality is high, the portions are generous, the service is great, and there is live music some nights (also has great views). Beach towels, small beach chairs, and beach toys provided upon request. There's a fireplace in the room which we didn't use but is a nice touch.
Cons: The (lack of) hygiene of the room was appalling considering the amount paid (over $300 per night). The bathtub had at least 5 short black hairs in it! I would have called for it to be cleaned but I had to get my toddler bathed and in bed in a hurry, so I washed it myself. Not a fun way to start a vacation! The bathroom counter was also dusty and had hairs on it. But worst of all, when our breakfast arrived, one of the glasses of orange juice (served charminly in a glass jar) was wrapped in a long hair. When I complained about the above, our breakfast was refunded and more orange juice was brought, but it was frankly too little too late. To their credit, they gave us a certificate for $50 off a future stay, but I doubt we'll be back. Also, keep in mind, "partial ocean view" is VERY partial. You have to go on to the balcony and look around to see the ocean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room, feather bed, wet bar and refrigerator. Beautiful balcony with hot tub and view of the ocean. Gas Fireplace.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
7.5 Good

5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff were great
Cons: It needed a refurb in 1995. It was clean but it’s aged and in order to stay competitive I think they need to invest in a makeover

Cons: The hot tub was not really working! It did not get hot.

9.5 Excellent
