Combining medieval atmosphere with period-specific luxury, Langley Castle Hotel is a 14th-century castle, opulently reproduced and set on 12 sprawling acres of scenic parkland near the village of Langley. Located near sites of historical interest, Langley Castle Hotel is a destination for those looking to trip back through time in luxury.

The castle has been furnished in full medieval style, complete with suits of armor, elaborate candelabras, and tapestries. Tours of the castle take guests all over, including the roof, where guests can walk along the battlements and visit the chapel. There are also walking trails throughout the grounds.

The rooms in the castle are the most lavish, and more expensive, with massive four-poster beds and window seats built into the 7-foot thick castle walls. The rest of the rooms are in a converted lodge and carriage house and elegantly furnished as well, if not as extravagantly medieval. These rooms come with TVs, free Wi-Fi, and minibars. Pets are allowed with a fee.

At Langley Castle Hotel, guests can visit two restaurants, one in a separate dining room which offers a multi-course meal of modern variations on traditional British cuisine. Or have afternoon tea and small plates in the beautiful drawing room with its large fireplace.
