9.2 Excellent
Pros: Although the breakfast wasn’t 5 star hotel But it was even better Few things to select from but everything fresh and just delicious And the even had some really nice fellow wait on us and make us eggs or whatever we wanted The shower water pressure was like heaven Really amazing
Cons: The pillows weren’t that comfortable and the roo
7.1 Good
Pros: The host (the great John) deserves 10/10 he is one of a kind (was the only reason we didn’t change our booking) He is honest, gentle, helpful, easygoing, and will never hesitate to offer his help by any mean at anytime; basically the host/ company that you will never get bored of chatting with and he is with easy of both English and French language.
Cons: We chose the location as we had a course in a close by institution / Hospital called Gustave Roussy, however the route to the institute was blocked due to metro construction where we had to go to town hall 850m from the property to catch a bus and go there. Hence the location was not great for me. Worth nothing that the property is an average B&B which was located in quite area (over a hill) with small streets. Town hall (down Town) is close by (within a distance of around 1KM). The furniture were not up-to my expectations however it looks antique and reflects different cultures and from different places in the world. I have share my concerns and comments with the host with regards to towels quality, furnitures, beds and pillows, check out and check in time flexibility, the garden, kitchen staff that need to be taken care of (small things yet makes a big difference).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was an amazing place to stay great location with a historical feel. Hands down the best place I’ve stayed. The beds were super comply and the breakfast was amazing. I will definitely visit again.
Cons: The only thing that I would change is I wish I had more time to spend there
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Charming locality, charming penthouse, charming host - very good breakfast
Cons: Not knowing earlier on about the municipal bus, its route and timetable leaving us near the hotel as we would not then have walked up the hill on the way back!
6.3 Good
Pros: We loved breakfast and the staff were excellent. Sheets were quality. Parking was free and it was closer than we thought to Paris.
Cons: We booked the family room and there was a large bed and then a separate room with bunk beds as advertised. The problem was that there were no windows in either rooms (only skylights), therefore no fresh/cool air. The outside high temp for that day was only 25c, but the rooms were stifling hot. We asked to change rooms, but no. We were up for hours taking cold showers just trying to cool down. So I wouldn't recommend staying in the family room unless it is winter.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The penthouse has a huge terrace. Very friendly manager. Excellent breakfast. Quick access to freeway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place, wonderful breakfast, most friendly atmosphere. A truly restful and inspiring visit. Looking forward to coming back.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, safe and just perfect to commute to Paris on the train. John, the host, very informative and helpful. Very good visit and very hospitable. Will stay here again and recommend to others.
Cons: Our room didn't have a window, but other than that it was perfect for our needs.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: I needed a place for the night before taking the train in the morning, so I took this place (it has an amazing rating which is just not justified). Poor value, at least triple what it should be. The reviews for this place are not to be taken seriously. Compared to the great room I had in Le Marais in middle of Paris for 4 nights for less than half the price, this was very disappointing. The house and garden have long been neglected. The room I was shown was on top the floor, more like a small kid's dorm, with only a skylight. When I insisted on at least a window, the man on site called the owner and they gave me a dark ground floor room with a grubby windows facing some scrubby plants and a driveway. The location is in a poor suburb in a rundown area right next to the construction site of the new metro (even noise in evening). No nearby restaurants or shops. Definitely not a place for a solo female. No AC. The owner only available by phone. Older gentleman on site does not speak English. I left too early for breakfast but still paid for it. WIFI was too slow even to download a few emails so I had to use my phone data. Furniture and linens shabby, old, dusty and in assorted dark colours. I was offered cold coffee from an urn sitting on a coffee maker.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property host was great: warm, welcoming, helpful. It was near our specific destination (Fregis veterinary clinic) Free parking, Free wifi, breakfast included, allows pets... it ticked all of our boxes.
Cons: We were there in August. It was an unexpected really big hill climb down and back up to get some dinner in the little town below. The little Indian restaurant was closed for renovations so we had to choose something else: ended up bringing Chinese takeout back to the room; yes it was tasty. The next night we decided to drive to a restaurant recommended by the host but it was closed for holiday. In fact, we drove to about 5 different restaurants in the area and they were ALL closed. We finally found something after about 40 minutes of zig zagging around the area, but by then we were pretty mad and hangry.
Les Suites De Vanves - Vanves - Building
2
9.0 Excellent (249 reviews)
C$ 169+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Les Suites de Vanves in Vanves, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and Parc des Princes.
7.1 Good
Cons: The breakfast is too essential...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stay for medical congress at port the Versailles congress centre. The landlady Was very kind. The room was large. The breakfast with croissant very nice, bus the best was the hand-squeezed orange juice! I think I will come back for the congress. Recommended.
7.9 Good
Pros: Emmanuelle (the host) is extremely friendly and provided us some valuable tips about Paris; Good location (bus stop is very close to "Les Suites de Vanves" and can take us to Montparnasse Metro/Train Station in 10 minutes); Good breakfast (variety is limited, but good enough). The room was confortable with heating and air conditioner.
Cons: The only downside of "Les Suites de Vanves" was the cleaning. Despite the fact that the room was globally cleaned, if you open some of the drawers of the furniture to put your clothes, you would notice a lot of dust (showing that it wasn't clean for weeks). Besides that, the bin wasn't emptied in a daily basis.
6.3 Good
Pros: Positives: - Friendly and helpful owner - Spacious room - Good air-conditioner
Cons: Negatives: - Bad room service: no body-wash or shampoo; room and bathroom were not cleaned everyday; toilet papers were not replaced; no tissues in the room; fridge wasn’t cooling - Location: 15mins walk to train stations; inconvenient to travel to city centre - Unreliable Internet connection
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was freindly and knowledgable. Quite and very artisticly presented.
Cons: Nothing...
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Small boutique hotel, friendly, many extras incl terrace outside
Cons: The room was on the more busy road, as you can expect in Paris centre.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was down a quiet road with a lovely garden. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is a little apartment with everything you need, quiet and close to amenities. Breakfast is really good. The host is a very nice lady.
Cons: No shampoo or shower gel, not a real problem though
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Reproductions of Degas and MC Escher on the walls, with meaning full quotes. Great conversation at breakfast. Nice garden. Easy car parking at Saint Remy Republique at Vanves, 500m. Walking distance to the Expo Porte De Versailles.
Cons: Fridge with previous guests' fast food. Some lights not working (battery empty?). limited choice at breakfast, but the conversation made well up for it.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect to stay here if you are going to the exhibition centre - just a few minutes walk away, with lots of places to eat nearby and a supermarket too. The owner is super helpful and gave us lots of helpful advice whilst we were there and booked taxis for us.

5.0 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: very noisy American tourists in the hallway during the two nights that we stayed there (singing in the hallway, visiting each others room, knocking on each other doors, speaking loudly in the hallway and this around 2 and 3 am). Breakfast space was not clean: very sticky floor. Almost no amenities in the room.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great view on Eiffel tower Nice lounge terrace Quite big rooms for Paris Tasty breakfasts (but expensive) Own Car parking (also not cheap)
Cons: It is located not in the Paris, so no metro around, only tram, but 2 mins walking. By car it is 15 mins to the center. Rooms with the view are very noisy. They have rooms with windows on the other side of the building, with the view on the calm street. And you can always enjoy the view from the terrace
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very modern, and beautiful hotel. The continental breakfast is delicious, with many freshly made items. 2nd floor is for dining, along with a pool table. 3rd floor haves a beautiful terrace overlooking the Eiffel Tower, and downtown city view. 4th floor rooms are very modern and comfortable, with a balcony with the view of the Eiffel Tower. Receptionist was very helpful, and there is a grocery store less than a block away, and the rail station is around the corner. My family and I will definitely stay here again!
Cons: The WiFi doesn’t reach the 4th floor, but that would not stop me from staying here again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, nearby metro station.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean, terrace was a nice experience to have with the hotel room
Cons: The bed was two single beds joined together, would have preferred one double bed as that is that I paid for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were first class
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: -Eiffel Tower view from our window and from the terrace. -Lovely breakfast -Nice, friendly staff -Close to public transport -nespresso coffee machine

Cons: Location
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, tolerant towards pets, great view of Eiffel Tower, tram station next door, comfortable rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excelente customer service. Very polite and helpful gentleman at reception. He communicated with us in English, language, that we understand better than French language. He always was there to make sure everything was fine, helped us with informations about transportation, so we could save some money. He is the person that people must trust at the spot. We, me and my wife, will recommend our friends to this Hotel. It is very clean and neat. Excellent location, near to train and bus stop.
Cons: Nothing to complaint.

7.9 Good
Pros: Very clean and modern. Staff very friendly
Cons: On 4th floor noise from rooftop. Wi fi poor in room. Location slightly too far out of city centre.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean and modern hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Did not use the breakfast. What was outstanding was the helpfulness of the front desk and support staff.
7.9 Good
Pros: The room cleaning was excellent, always left the room super spotless, the look of the hotel is immaculate from outside to in, really love the layout and design of room and the room I stayed in was away from street so very quiet Bed was comfy, nice assortment of free tea and coffees and kettle Wi-fi speeds were great Great location, only a short walk to metro and to Parc de Saint-Cloud for the Rock en Seine festival. AMAZING SHOWER
Cons: The hotel room doors slam when someone exits, so each door on that floor will rattle, I got woken up a few times because of this. My hotel room window didn't lock properly, if you pulled on the handle, the window opened which was a safety concern every time I went out, as my room looked out onto a fire escape staircase, I'm not sure how accessible that is to the public. I didn't mention this as to start, I thought it was the cleaning staff leaving the window open to air the room but then realised it was opening on it's own? I only had one more day left and didn't want to trouble staff with setting up another room. Some, not all of the reception staff could have been friendlier in their interactions The price is pretty steep especially with hidden charges like the Paris city tax, which seemed ridiculously high for just a few nights especially for a 3 star hotel, nearly 10 euros for 3 nights?!? should really be disclosed in the booking fee.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great little design hotel. Rooms look great and super clean. Didn't try breakfast as there is an amazing bakery just around the corner. 1 Minute walk to the subway, however it is a bit of a commute into center of Paris.
Cons: The wifi was a bit weak and unreliable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was staying before in the hotel. As it is really exceptional, I came back again. The staff is very kind, rooms nice decorated, very cosy and perfectly clean. Although not located in central Paris, there is an excellent metro connection to the major Parisian attractions and it is in proximity of the beautiful Parc St Cloud.
Cons: N.a.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great neighborhood if you are not looking to be right in downtown Paris. Easy access to Roland Garros and the Parc des Princes. Half block to the metro. Plenty of neighborhood food and shopping options.
Cons: Front desk staff not very helpful. Asked about the easiest way to get to Versailles from the hotel. Staff member replied by saying she didn't know--- that she hadn't been there in years and years. No offer to help investigate options. It's not like we were asking about an obscure place. I imagine we can't have been the first guests to ask about visiting Versailles.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Very comfortable and large bed. Lots of activities in the nice lobby, such as a pool table and books to read.
Cons: We couldn’t park in their car park as our rental car was too large. There was no where in any booking section that stated your car had to be a certain size to be able to park in their car park.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very big bed, very clean rooms and in a very nice area, close to Boulogne

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were really friendly and very helpful. The property is close to all relevant activities and the hotel is quaint.
Cons: We had problems with our key and it got stuck in the door.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Staff was very thoughtful and nice. Breakfast with Claudia felt like we were at a friends house. She was so warm and welcome and exceeded the expectations. The breakfast was continental type. The whole experience was very pleasant and I'm very please to have taken the chance with this hotel insteal of a known chain like IBIS. The location is nice and seems quite safe. Close to Subway and Bus Stations. 25min ride to Trocadero.
Cons: At breakfast, the only thing I missed was Sliced Meat, like Ham and/or others. That is very basic and I don't understand how there is cheese and no meat. Fresh Orange Juice was a plus...but having to squeeze your own juice and ask for oranges was a bit annoying.... but Claudia just made us feel like home, so that was ok.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Recently renovated. Nice bright rooms. New bathroom and flooring all round. Staff were friendly.
Cons: Limited breakfast. Uneven floor in bedroom. Bedroom very very small but acceptable for for price and location. No shower gel but there was shampoo.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff was friendly
Cons: I asked for a quiet room and received a reply confirming this. Nevertheless, I was given a room on the first floor, facing the street and next to the elevator. Unsurprisingly, there was traffic noise from the street through the night. Otherwise, the location is a bit awkward. Very basic standard room.
6.7 Good
Pros: room are clean
Cons: We book this hotel since it advertised a parking. Parking availibity was confirmed 24hrs before arrival. While we checked in i was told that the parking was full but public parking was availabe 5 MINUTES AWAY BY CAR. once we found that parking it was closed. We end up having to pay the meter in the street near by after looking for a spot 15 mins. Sure to note we didn't receveice any apologies from the Staff. We only had 1 set of clean towel in the bathroom Really desappointed won't book again

Cons: Bath could have been bigger
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quaint, gardens, beds were comfortable
Cons: No air conditioning, and we happened to be in Paris during a heat wave of 90 degree temperatures!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very charming place, the room was light and spacious. The location was rather quiet for Paris, what also means that you need to spend little more time in the metro. The metro stop is very near. The breakfast tasted great, but I wouldn't be able to eat sweet stuff more than 2 days.
Cons: The room was quite warm, might be tricky in hot weather.

Cons: The bathroom sink drained slowly and the air conditioner went on at its own will not when you turned it on.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and good service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in the hotel with my wife for our one week vacation in Paris. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and housekeeping service was provided every day. Also the room was modern style designed so that’s a plus.
Cons: The room was a little small to walk around but for two person wasn’t a big deal.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean hotel with clean rooms. Super close to a metro station. Big comfy bed, no nonsense like joining two single beds for example. Good price for what is offered.
Cons: The location of the hotel relative to the rest of Paris attractions. However, it is not the fault of the hotel. It is my fault that I didn't research well enough. It is super close though to the last station of the M12 metro line. So it takes a bit of time to get to the center of Paris. The room didn't have a great view but that wasn't really my priority. The breakfast was OK at best.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything except the scrambled eggs , the hotel was impeccably clean , the location suited my purposes very well , the staff were very helpful and very friendly , I was pleasantly surprised as I need a low cost room and was fed and sheltered well . Thank you I will return again no question
Cons: The scrambled eggs
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location as great. Right next to a metro station and all amenities around the location. Quiet neighborhood.
Cons: The rooms could have been bigger, but if you are only looking for a place to sleep and shower then this is good value for money.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast continental and there were plenty to choose from. The fresh juice was great, same as the coffee. The room was very clean and cozy. Every time we book on Ibis chain the bed is never disappointing, the most relaxing beds. A big thumbs up for this.
Cons: Although i requested a top floor room with Eiffel tower view we receive a room at the 1 floor with no view. Working site near the hotel made it difficult to find it when we first arrive. There was no sign from the train exit to the hotel.
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.
Cons: location is not the best if you want to be close to central Paris. There is ongoing construction to the train station which makes a lot of noise. The guy at reception took photos with his phone of our passports..makes no sense or maybe they don't have a scanner?
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great, spacious and clean room with a nice bed and bathroom. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK but not special.
Cons: We had some problems with the air-conditioning around midnight when we came back to our room. It took until 1:30 AM. It took the staff member a lot of time to figure it out and we had the idea he did not know what he was doing/had to do. The room was clean but there were still some things (food) on the floor in the corners. The breakfast was OK but we would have liked some more choice in meat (other than just ham) and cheese.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location of the hotel near train station and it's only 2 stops till Gare Montparnasse. Good breakfast. Clean and cozy room.
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great there was a lot of choices and I love the fresh orange juice. The location is perfect the Clamart Train station is just behind the building. Staff is available all the time.
Cons: I was just wondering if there was a train station close to Orly Airport to make the travel to the Ibis Hotel easier. I didn't have time to search for it so we took a taxi from the airport to Ibis, but from Ibis to our planned tour of Eiffel Tower and Palace of Versailles the Ibis location was perfect since the train station is just behind the building. It took us 3-5 min walk.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Love the pizza and breakfast, yummy warm croissant. Rooms were stylish and clean.
Cons: Location is a bit difficult to find but near good places
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was perfect, location near station, peacefull neighborhood. Parking available
Cons: Pillows
6.7 Good
Pros: The breakfast
Cons: Too far Don't have restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy near. The air-conditioned stopped works in the last day. It was 27 degrees in the room. The staff didn't fix.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: For the price I really recommend the place. close to train station, clean and comfortable rooms. breakfast is good, items are limited but good quality, so in general I liked it.
Cons: Nothing really.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing that I can think of
Cons: Room was just too small, it is hardly a 2 star facility, not sure why Accor group is giving it a tag of Mercure. I took the hotel as it was a Mercure, and was very disappointed. Accor needs to look at their standards

Pros: everything
Cons: nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: Clean. Good room
Cons: Needs more variety at breakfast. The water was not always hot for the tea at breakfast
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good, variety of food to choose from including the non dairy milk. Room comfortable and spacious for 2
Cons: Location was a bit out of the way , however got to know all tubes, RER and trams. Unfortunately stay was too short to take advantage of this new knowledge.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The room had a very hard and uncomfortable bed. It was indicated that a large and wide bed, but in fact just 2 narrow beds moved together. The payment terminal worked poorly, the money was withdrawn from the card twice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff have no problem going the extra mile to help you and to make your stay comfortable. They were friendly , helpful and always on hand if you need help with anything. I would definitely stay here again and we are planning on going back later this year. The hotel is also close enough to the Eiffel Tower and a other tourist attractions, which is ideal . The Metro station is around 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I visited Paris with my family including my baby. The staff were amazing, they couldn’t have done anything more to make our stay so pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was super delicious, hotel was clean and you truly receive what you are paying for. The hotel is located 10-15 minutes drive from the Eiffel Tower. So happy with our choice. Thank you, 10 out of 10!

Pros: staff very helpful and nice room clean
Cons: had to pay for the breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They were really helpful at the reception. Brekfast was Awesome.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location was great for what we needed. The beds were comfortable although the pillows were very soft.
Cons: I had relatively high hopes for the Premium room I'd booked with a balcony and views over Paris but we were placed on the ground floor with a patio with no view. The patio area had a couple of spent cigarettes and there was cigarette ash on our patio table... A further disappointment was that, even though housekeeping had made our beds before the evening, they had not replaced any of the used coffee cups, glasses, or even the used milk, sugar, and coffee capsules!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean spacious interconnecting rooms.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a successful trip and everyone at the hotel was so professional, accommodating and friendly. The staff was so lovely, they made the 6-night stay a great experience. Thank you!
6.5 Good
Pros: Hotel is nice and rooms are wide. Location is great on a Main Street
Cons: Restaurant staff and service should be improved. Room amenities are missing a lot of basic items like slippers and weighing scale. Shower handle support was broken.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, price, bathroom, calm
Cons: The night staff at the reception was not caring a lot.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful with regards making a change to our booking, the room was very comfortable and a good size, and the rooftop bar and courtyard terrace were both great
6.7 Good
Pros: We asked for a room on a high floor and were allocated one on the 5th which was good. The room has a safe and a fridge. The hotel is close to a metro station and a direct bus route to the Eiffel Tower and Louvre, with stops close to Musee d'orsay.
Cons: Bed was huge but extremely hard, so much that it was uncomfortable & affected my quality of sleep, and I usually like a firm mattress. It was also a surprise to find on check in that they preauthorise a cost of 50 euros per night "just in case" you spend anything in the restaurant or bar. Theres no option even though I was clear I didn't intend to use the restaurant of bar facilities (there's a lovely roof terrace; where a large beer will set you back 10 euros). They refer to the 50 euro payment as a "holding charge" and assure you they wont actually charge it, which I guess isn't such an issue if you use a credit card, but this sat as a pending transaction on my current account and so I had 200 euros less available to spend on my trip.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We could park our car in the hotel garage even after our check out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally clean and pleasant staff
Cons: Well it was further than I thought and didn’t do much research to be closer to the center.. but really nice place.. exceptionally clean
6.3 Good
Pros: Reception staff was very cooperative Restaurant staff was good too Special mention for Mr Quinton in restaurant Very humble guy
Cons: House keeping staff was not up to the mark Room needs to be cleaned nicely Bathroom floors not moped properly Everytime things need to asked for Bed sheets are properly tucked but they need to see the side tables too for cleaning. Very few English channels on tv
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room is good Bed is very confortable Location is great to visit Paris and Versailles
Cons: Outside Restaurant have not enough light.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My overal experience was outstanding. We were treated with such kindness and respect and everyone went our of their way to help us with our questions and needs. The room was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. I especially loved that the hotel accomodiated my request to have an adjoining room with my colleague. The location was perfect as well. We found transportation easy to reach with the bus across the street and the metro just a 5 minute or so walk. It was close to restaurants, banks, and convienient shopping. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends.
Cons: It would have been nice to be closer to the center of Paris, but the metro and bus took us their quickly and for less than 2 Euro.

Located next to the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre, the Classics Hotel Porte de Versailles offers a fitting location! In just minutes, the metro will take you to the heart of Paris: the Champs-Elysées, Concorde, the Louvre, the Tuileries Garden and other top attractions will no longer hide their secrets!
5.4 Okay
Cons: The description is wonderful ; however, once arrived on site, things were a little different.. you cannot place a short bed in the rooms, and claim the room is bigger than the average in Paris (my 1.8m partner had his feet exceeding outside the bed limit). We arrived for breakfast 30 min before it as supposed to end - there was not much left, if you are not a cereal type person, and certainly don't expect to find any vegetables or fresh fruit. The design is indeed minimalist, as announced - but don't expect anything more ; the rooms leave you with a "pretentious Hostel" feeling. And I hope, I really hope, that the roof of the private parking is not asbestos...as we suspect (the employees cannot answer that question). The only good thing in this hotel was the staff - a big thank you for their support. We will not come back and pay this sum for less-than-average conditions..

See hotel page Laurent Girard and his team welcome you at the doorstep of Paris, in Antony. The Originals Boutique, Hotel Maison de l'Abbaye, holds an unusual place steeped in history and surrounded by nature. Now a hotel, the building used to be a religious training center and the retirement house of the Marianists, with its chapel remaining now the only trace of its former life.In this peaceful, quiet place, guests here can regenerate and enjoy the comfortable rooms in a spiritual setting like no other.
5.8 Okay
Pros: an old cloisters transformed into a Hotel - could be a winner. free parking. close to RER station. friendly staff.
Cons: rooms are small and a bit dingy, ours was not really clean. breakfast so-so, coffee was not good. the house as such is nice but its interior ambiance is really more that of a hostel. overall, it would be OK if they wouldn't charge as much - but for €140 the night, I'd really expect better. Even in a Paris suburb.
7.9 Good
Pros: The breakfast was good, the room very comfortable, and most of the staff were very helpful. I appreciated being given 2 fresh bottles of Evian water every day, and having a nespresso machine in the room!
Cons: The WiFi connection was unreliable and the staff didn’t seem to know what to do to get us back online. My husband helped by suggesting that they unplug the power to the modem- this quickly resolved the problem. Also, it would have been nice to have an iron available to remove the wrinkles in our clothing.
5.8 Okay
Pros: I like the easy transportation that you can take, subway 5 min from hotel.
Cons: Our floor smell very bad and the buffet is very expensive compare with the service.
7.1 Good
Pros: Amazing building Room was disappointing
Cons: Room size and decor was not fitting with the opulent building
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Located short distance from metro station, easy to access the tourist part of Paris without staying in the middle of the chaos.
Cons: The shared bathroom wasn’t always 100% clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What I learned in particular through this stay at La Maison de l'Abbaye is that the comfort level, the friendliness of the staff, the intrigue of the surroundings, and the continuing mission of the Marianiste Order makes me want to return time and again, which I certainly will do for my bi-annual visits to Paris. The ease with which one can be transported via ReR to the heart of Paris in twenty minutes, the ambiance of Antony village, the quiet respite after a day in the hustle and bustle in the heart of the city, not to mention the appropriate cost of the accommodations, so distinct from the over inflated price of rooms in Paris city center, all make this an ideal hotel to choose! And I can't believe the added benefit of getting to both Orly or Charles de Gaulle airport with speed and ease - the hotel is a three minute, downhill walk from the trains that run so regularly to both!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so helpful. Quiet and safe parking. A feeling of calm.
Cons: There was nothing I can think of that we found to dislike

Pros: small and shared bathroom, but get everything you need. close to trian station. 40mins to pairs centre
5.0 Okay
Pros: A bit different. 14 ft ceilings. Quiet. Plenty of private parking. Room quite ok. NB some rooms have shared bathrooms. (Ours was small but well appointed.
Cons: A lack of staff & service. Seemed only one staff on duty. Invisible & we had to walk to the other end of main corridor to ring bell at reception to get them to fill up breakfast supplies. Tea, OJ, cutlery & more.. A single sausage + less than two portions of cold scrambled egg. WiFi didn’t work on the 3 days we were there. No bar (expected) but none nearby (& all but one closed - August in Paris)
6.8 Good
Pros: Quiet. Decent low key room. Amazing windows. Lots of church bells close.
Cons: Short hours at reception desk on weekends. I never got an email with the information on the door code and code to get keys, so had to rustle someone up using the emergency telephone number in the door.

Overview Reviews
Located in Boulogne-Billancourt (Prince–Marmottan), Hotel de Paris is within a 15-minute walk of Parc des Princes and Bois de Boulogne. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, a safe deposit box at the front desk, and an elevator.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very well located, very close to the Boulogne Jean Jaures metro station, two supermarkets with reasonable prices, pharmacy, shops and plenty of restaurants. The surroundings and the hotel are safe and quiet. The rooms are quite small (but common for hotels in France), but cozy and well arranged (sleeping space, office space, clothes racks and hangers, separate bathroom). As a pleasant surprise, Hotel de Paris offers the possibility to serve coffee at any time in the room (espresso machine, capsules and sugar are complementary provided). Both hotel and rooms (including the bathroom) are very clean.
Cons: Unfortunately, the weather was cold in this period at Paris, and the rooms can be heated only if the hotel is using its central heating. No chance until mid-October. However, they provided a warm blanket in the room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is pretty good, near the subway station! The room is small but clean.
Cons: Sound insulation inside the room is terrible - you can easily hear other hotel guests - from their room or from the hallway.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was a good place to stay, very quiet and safe in Paris. also metro and bus close to the venue. the receptionest are very friendly, but the bathroom is really small. we would like to stay there again if any chance.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Rooms are very small.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Even though the Hotel is not by the Major Paris Attractions, at least there is a Metro Station only a few feet from the Hotel. I appreciate it that the neighborhood was quiet and very family friendly. Antoine, the front desk Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. He answer all my questions and did great beyond the call of duty. The room was small, but very very clean and organized.
Cons: You have to keep in mind that you do have guest of other countries, specially the USA. It would've been nice to have at least 2 TV channels in English. Also, we would've like to have ICE available for our drinks in our room. The coffee was good, but we usually use creamer (powder) and artificial sweetener (Like Sweet&Low or Splenda) rather than sugar. Also you could have a list of Paris Attractions and how to use the Metro to get to them.
7.5 Good
Cons: Cleaner forgot to replace toilet roll on second day .
6.7 Good
Pros: Good location, close to the subway station. Everything was clean and the lady responsible with cleaning came every day, sometimes even during the day when we stayed inside in the morning and did a good job.
Cons: The English level of the staff was very poor. Also, first Hotel I've ever seen charging for two pieces of paper we needed them to print for us (2 football tickets black/white) - 0.80€/page. Not too many options to choose from at the breakfast. The room was very small.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff, clean room, had everything I needed, shampoo, soap, towels, fan, tv, even small coffee machine as a welcoming gesture. Lovely.
Cons: Very thin walls, you can hear every single movement in corridor. There was some incidents in the middle of the night, that woke me up from a deep sleep.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: About a block from a Metro station, and a couple blocks from a bus stop, so easy to get to with public transportation. The neighborhood is a nice one, and safe. Hotel is surrounded by apartment buildings, and is close to a couple grocery stores and several bars and restaurants. Room has coffee maker (pod), fridge, and A/C. Tiny European room, but adequate and cute.
Cons: It is a way outside of the tourist part of Paris -- easy enough to get to but a 30+ minute ride on the bus or metro. There was breakfast offered, but for a charge. We didn't get it so I can't rate it, but it's basically the same price as the restaurants down the block, and there are a couple grocery stores and bakeries nearby as well. The lobby was very hot -- neither air conditioned nor had open windows and doors -- so were unable to use the lounge area. They want you to pay at check-out, so be prepared to spend the time then (as well as at check in).
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location and very friendly staff.
Cons: The room was very small.

Pros: The hotel location is excellent. But this is specific for my business. The hotel is close to the terminal of METRO 10 which is convienient generally if you are familiar with the Paris transport network.
Cons: Furniture and its arrangement in my room is quite bad compared to the very good room condition and the price. There is no drawers at all in tables. There is no place small items could be stored. It's nice that there is a refrigerator in my room, but it is installed under a desk. I cannot put my leg under the desk when I use my laptop PC on the desk. Bed side samps failed.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: We picked this hotel because it was near the Rock en Seine festival and it was an ideal choice. The location would also be ideal for anyone going to the tennis at Roland Garros. The hotel is located in a quiet street so you are assured of a peaceful sleep and it is only a five minute walk from the Boulogne - Pont de Saint-Cloud Metro Station. From this station, you can get right into the centre of Paris without having to change trains. The hotel is well-maintained and all the staff were very friendly and helpful; they seemed genuinely appreciative that we had chosen to stay in their hotel. There was a good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast. We would have no hesitation staying here again.
