Close to the beach. The swimming pool is fine (even though service at the swimming pool bar is virtually non-existant). Staff is very friendly and do their best to make your stay comfortable.
The hotel is run down. Definitely NOT a 4* hotel as advertised. Claiming itself to be 4* rating is entirely misleading, it is a lie bordering a con trick. This hotel probably WAS 4* a very long time ago, but with poor maintenance it is very run down now (hardly a 3*). To name a few: lifts not working properly, run down room furniture, incredibly run down bathroom (including corroded stone, metals, mirror, etc), even falling plaster (this was in the balcony wall), gym in very poor state... and the list goes on. Topping the list is the sauna area which is in an unbelievable state of repair (would probably be closed for health and safety reasons if it were in the UK).

Rooms aren’t maintained well. Pictures shown do not corresponding to the room I had. Furnitures are old and cleanliness isn’t good.

Cleverson, the staff from the reception was very friendly and helpful! He gave us a lot of tips and info about the city. Even though there is no parking at the hotel, he told us to park across the street for only 10 reais per day.
