The rooms and location
As it was Friday there was no International food on offer at the hotel. And as not of the local faith, (and our first visit to Israel) we were not invited to dine in the main restaurant with only cold food on offer - and this fare didn't appeal to our children. We were treated very much like outsiders, we were tolerated so to say - which is not ok as we were paying high prices and this is a five star hotel - which should provide services to all their guests and at the very least pre-warn any hotel guests ahead of their stay as to what (if any!) dining facilitates are to be on offer during their stay and make alternative arrangements for their valued (?) guests. In summary this experience / treatment was a bit of a shock.
It is very loud / noisy.
Great old time luxury. Great bathroom too, with separate water closet, walk in shower stall, separate bath tub and tv in the mirror.
Personal and services are at a high level.
The hotel, although it is the best hotel in the country, has very old equipment and small rooms.
