The staff were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The Inn was very quaint. Cool in the Summer heat. Gorgeous evening dining. Very pretty location.
The room had been refurbished since we booked. Quite characterful, with nice en-suite; all fresh and clean. Evening meal was quite good, in a packed dining-room. Staff were helpful.
Breakfast was disorganised, as the staff member responsible was unavailable at short notice. Otherwise OK.
I was pleasantly surprised with the High Standard of the Inn. It has been tastyfully decorated, Lisa the proprietor has managed to be mindful of the age of the building yet put a modern twist to the room accessories Colours were a very soothing blend of bluey grey. There was everything that you required in the room including free wifi. Very Generous times for breakfast up till 11am. Everything on breakfast menu is cooked to order & plentifull. I would rate this inn 4/5 stars easily. This is one place that you really must try.......
Nothing except we wished we stayed for 2 nights instead of 1
Although the Crown had been upgraded they honoured the price that applied when we booked in July last year. They also provided us with their best room. With a need to leave at 6.30am we only had, at our request, cereals in our room.
Slightly disappointed in the quality of our evening meal. We both had chicken, leek and mushroom pie and found the flaky pastry difficult to cut.
Room clean and tidy with good amenities. No noise considering above a pub. Good parking, quiet road.
Breakfast wasn't served till 8 as travelling for work needed to be out early. No other options.
With a stay at Crown Inn in King's Lynn, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Sandringham House and Roydon Common National Nature Reserve. Free self parking is available onsite.
