Location - on the beach, a short drive to restaurants on the cliff top with great views, 15 minute drive to a small town with shops (7 eleven!), massages & cafes. Rooms - very clean, spacious, large bed and balcony. Rooms were cleaned every day without fault. Air con in the rooms. Staff - great staff. Very kind. Highlights included; them bringing us extra water bottles after initially forgetting to put them in our rooms. Fixing my sunglasses after they broke. Restaurant - 1 restaurant with good menu. Both western food (sandwiches, pizza) and Thai food available. Drinks menu has good variety. Happy hour is 5pm-7pm with 241 cocktails. You must try the AMAZING smoothies!! We didn’t have breakfast, but it looked okay (cereals, hot food including eggs, waffles). Not 5* food, but overall, I’d rate it 4*. Some of the meals were unavailable too. Prices are reasonable. Good to know - pool towels provided every day. Water bottle per person provided each day in mini fridge in room. You can rent a scooter from the hotel for 50 baht per hour. The hotel can book you a taxi if you prefer not to ride a scooter. The hotel can also arrange boat tours and other activities if you want. Kayaks are provided for free. There is a spa at the resort, which we didn’t use. You can get cheap massages in the town area, about 15 mins away (id recommend the massage place opposite 7 eleven!). In the town, there is a good place to eat/drink called the ‘drunken sailor’ which id recommend for more western food & drink. They have hammocks to chill in and nice, friendly staff.

Some of the meals in the restaurant were unavailable.

The location was good if you want quick access to the Klong Chak waterfall or the nearby lighthouse by scooter. The beach was nice and we had a good time at the “Take it easy bar” and the “Phu Pha View” restaurant.

The staff was incredibly unfriendly and unprofessional. We rented scooters directly from the hotel, one of which stopped working while riding on a very steep hill. Considering the fact that the roads are very hilly, the scooters should definitely be in good condition. The hotel did provide a new one however they did not take any accountability for this nor did they seem to care about having a guest be left in such a dangerous situation. The room itself had a strange smell for the duration of our stay and the room was so damp that our clothes and the bed linens were constantly feeling extremely damp (wet). When the air conditioner wasn’t running the smell in the room seemed to worsen and the smell in the bathroom was substantially worse. The bed was also incredibly uncomfortable which made the time spent outside of the room/hotel much more enjoyable than any of the time spent inside.

If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet and relaxed vacation, then this resort is the perfect choice! There is only one other (very small) resort on this beautiful long beach and because of that, there were never more then 20 people at the whole beach! The only downside is that apart from the resort's restaurant, which is very good, there was only one more place to eat on the beach, quite small but charming and with quite good food. We ended up eating there most of the time. The resort itself is quite beautiful and very green. Our room was very nice, quite spacious and with one of the most beautifully decorated hotel bathrooms I've ever seen (I prefer simplicity over kitsch and glamour :)) Finally, we had a balcony from where we could see the whole beach and that was simply amazing! I would also like to recommend the hotel massage as it is done in a nice space right in front of the beach. Hotel staff was very helpful and spoke surprisingly good English, which was quite useful as they organized all additional trips for us. In case you need more restaurant choices, go to the neighbouring beach called Kantiang. There is a small village there and a couple of good place to eat (primarily the place called Drunken Sailors). Also, on the way there, approximately halfway, there are a number of simple restaurant on the cliff above the beach, with stunning views of the beach, best to be visited before sunset, with quite good food. Just be aware that most of them don't serve alcohol, as they are owned by local Muslims.

The staff, the quite location, the atmosphere.

There was nothing that disliked personally. But if you wanted to get out and about in the evenings, the hotel is a little remote. It’s Deep South, so a short taxi ride is needed to get into the nearest villages.

A tropical paradise in Koh Lanta, we were greeted like old friends at check in and shown to our wonderful bungalow on the beach. We have stayed in many beach bungalows however, this was one of the best we have seen. The location is perfect and the room is large. The breakfast had a lot of choice and there is a very kind man in the restaurant who is always smiling and makes you feel at home. It is a wonderful quiet resort and we loved sitting on our veranda watching the waves roll in, it felt like we were alone on the resort. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The gentleman on reception told us a taxi would be 100 baht each way but when we returned from our trip he had changed the price to 800 baht- a big jump and no apology. This same gentleman was rude on check out and say good bye or thank you- poor manners.
