Pros: It was cheap and staff were friendly
Cons: Very minimal basic room. (Budget means budget!) Location meant limited choice of places to eat without a car, basically it’s a n out of town motel with a bed and tiny bathroom facilities. You won’t see the town from here.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very nice, breakfast very good, perfect location and very friendly staff.
Cons: No staff there overnight and unfortunately the night we stayed there were a lot of very noisy people in the corridors up until 3 in the morning! Perhaps if there was a night porter these people wouldn’t be as disruptive! And although we had booked 2 smaller rooms as the hotel was fully booked except these rooms, we were a bit shocked about the size of one of the bathrooms as the toilet was squeezed between the end of the shower and the sink unit and it was practically impossible to sit on the toilet!! Would visit the hotel again but would avoid this room!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The fact it had parking and a lift.
Cons: Steps going up To Bathroom As husband is ill

Pros: Good location and spacious room.
Cons: Bathroom really small and no real soap or extra towel.
6.3 Good
Pros: Clean (but small) room.
Cons: Breakfast very basic and didn’t look/taste overly fresh. Husband owner not impolite but not the friendliest either! Advised to park 400m away as hotel car park full (probably my own fault for not booking ahead). Didn’t have time to use so facilities.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent, at 100m from the beach, in the downtown, and 8 minutes from train station. The building is very nice, a mix of old French hotel, with a very beautiful dinning room, and kitsch style at bedrooms. It's a very particular place, maybe little old, but charming. There is a boiler, tea and coffee. There are a SPA, Jacuzzi and fitness stuff, but I haven't time to went, so no advice about.
Cons: In general it's ok, there was not a lot of people because is winter so it was very calm. The room's doors are not enough sound insulation. But you can get bullies for free.

Cons: It is off the main beach front and a distance from the city centre
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Handy location and good breakfast
Cons: Pool closed very early for summer evening and lip on doorway of bathroom is a serious trip hazard
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A calm, quiet location, with excellent facililities. The breakfast was more than adequate, bedroom large enough with a good ensuite. Secure parking, (always good when travelling through.). 300 m from a lovely beach ,and a lovely flat promenade walk above a sandy beach into the town centre.
Cons: Unfortunately arrived on a Monday afternoon in early June, so finding a late lunch or early dinner was impossible, unless you like crepes. Would have been fabulous on any other day. This did not detract from the hotel as we did find a small supermarket 200 m away towards the coast, where we bought essential supplies.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great! Short walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. There's even a little supermarket on the way to the beach. The town centre is also walkable along the seafront. Parking on site. We stayed mid September and it was a challenge to work out what restaurants were open when, but the hotel staff always had suggestions for us. I imagine everything is open all the time in August!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice little 3* hotel 200 meters from the coast. Book the sauna and jacuzzi beforehand as it is private. 40mn/day. Heated small swimming pool. Get a balcony for an extra 5 euro/day. Breakfast is continental. Room was clean

7.9 Good
Pros: Free parking because the councils equipment was out of service. The staff were very nice, our dinner was excellent served by a very nice lady. Good breakfast -a good selection of fruit toast, rolls etc. and when we discovered the mechanics of egg boiling, a good boiled egg!
Cons: The room was very basic but OK. It was further from the sea than we hoped. The bathroom was very, very compact
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and very good value for money. In particular the internet quality was superb. We had a standard room, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent with lots of hot water.
Cons: Maintenance - the bathroom sink plug didn't work which involved wasting a lot of hot water. It would also have been nice to have had 2 chairs in the room, not just one.

5.3 Okay
Pros: The hotel is well situated on the seafront, the accomodation is homely, and the staff efficient and welcoming
Cons: lack of car parking
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff was particularly helpful and friendly, the main reason why I would definitely recommend this hotel and even go back to it myself. The position was fantastic because of the stunning view over the sea/beach and the proximity to aminities such as shops, restaurants, old city but added to that parking was free outside the hotel , only on that part of the long promenade! a bonus!
Cons: just the price of the room! despite the fact that the hotel has only the standard of a (good!) 3 star hotel, the price for our room only was way beyond our holiday budget. In fact we only booked it as it was fully booked everywhere else in the vincinity when we made our last minute booking! We would definitely welcome and use any special offers in the future

Cons: No courtesy tray with kettle, tea, coffee provided and when I asked, there were no kettles available. No parking available and very vague about where you could park - if you find a space, good, if not, well . . .
5.6 Okay
Pros: Well situated on the sea front
Cons: No bar or evening restaurant
6.0 Good
Pros: The bed was excellent and big
Cons: The room was quite small

9.6 Excellent
Pros: For the category, it was exceeding any expectation. The owner is someone who went really over the top to make us feel welcome and home. The best is that he did it sincerely, without even prompting. If there is one reason to lodge here, it's definitely the genuine support you will get from him. To be clear, you are not lodging at the Alcazar, but you are not paying that price either.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, on-site parking and very clean. Short walk to some great restaurants and harbour.
Cons: Our room was small and at the front overlooking busy road junction which was disappointing as we requested a quiet room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved art deco feel to the place. Great friendly and welcoming family business.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel in away from the main town which can be reached via a small ferry [two minutes] for 1.20 euros. We were there for the start of the Golden Globe race and the ferry ran until midnight. You are in walking distance of the main harbour and entrance. Good restaurants nearby. The host is lovely he is very helpful and knows what is going on. You can easily walk to the beach or there is a lido pool should you prefer to swim in the sea without the waves. Room very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast is good in a light clean dining area. You have a code to get in when the reception is closed and a key to the entrance from the car park.
Cons: Okay so yes the bathroom is quite quirky and you do need to be fit to get in and out of the shower. But the shower is good and the hot water was always available.

The breakfast was good, especially the coffee and croissants and bread. And fresh jams. A good ambience, it's not four star but it's it's better because it's local and real.
Cons: Nothing....really......although there is limited on street parking, there is plenty of parking on the quay which is free.

Pros: Excellent location, no need to get in the car every day.Owners where amazing so helpful and friendly, gave advice on places and restaurants to visit and even got gluten free in for my breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super room on QUIET street, easy access to nice walking to the point in the morning. Fun, off the beaten track small city on the coast.
Cons: Really, nothing. No complaints. Well, good luck getting into the parking area if your car isn't compact (we were in a Renault Elf).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was very helpful and breakfast was good. Off the road parking is good even if it was tight getting in. We loved the nautical theme in the hotel.
Cons: Room on the small side.

Pros: From start to finish our stay was great, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the terrace of our room had an incredible view over the gorgeous beach. Private secure parking was a real plus and good value at €11/day. The room and all the public areas were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was continental style but with the added bonus of high quality locally sourced produce. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was fantastic, a seaview room and close to beaches and restaurants. Could also get around to the port etc very quickly.
Cons: Parking at hotel was supposedly very tight on entry so as we have a large car, we didn't chance it, choosing to park nearby. However, this wouldn't work in the summer as too may visitors to this region, so parking could be an issue.

Pros: Location in line with expectations. The room is rather small but ok for short stay. Staff very friendly to make the visit around pleasant. Breakfast better than many other expensive hotels.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed the breakfast it was very good. The location was good as well, Les Sables-d`Olonne is a lovely town and the cycle in along the Corniche is very special! It is the third time I have cycled that way, it is a lovely ride! The town itself is not so vibrant out of season but for me it is a lovely place to while away an afternoon and just people watch. I hope to return to Les Sables.
Cons: It was a little bit sad after most of the places we had stayed at, a bit frayed around the edges. But reception was good and we were given good information about about where to eat. The location is on a steep hill, cyclists beware!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely helpful, friendly staff, the room was a little small but clean and adequate for our needs. We were on a motorcycle and were able to park very near to the hotel and to secure the bike to a fixed point. Superbly located for access to the town and beaches.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: the hotel is lovely and right in the city center. even if it does not have parking, free parking can be found quite close by. We were offered to rent bikes to move around.
Cons: the breakfast was a little poor compared to others at the same price.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Hotel security was poor. Had item stollen from room. Keys are unguarded on reception for anybody to help themselves to. Man on reception did not seem to care. Decor very scruffy, can hear saniflo from other rooms when the go to the toilet.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location is great. Staff very friendly.
Cons: The bathroom is nice, but with a real door and a less noisy toilet it would be better.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is excellent. Staff was extremely kind and helpful.
Cons: AC could have been good to have in a room (though it was not necessary). WiFi in the room was not very strong. Shampoo and soap was not replenished every day.
