Grand Bahia Principe La Romana is an all-inclusive resort that features 400 guest rooms, one stunning pool and lounge area, and five restaurants for guest dining options. The resort provides complimentary WiFi in the lobby, a variety of games, activities, and entertainment programs for adults and children, and a mini bar that is stocked daily with juice, snacks, soft drinks, and beer. The hotel offers three bars, a full-service spa, and one of the best golf courses in the Caribbean. There are meeting and event spaces for destination weddings, business conferences, and other special events.

Grand Bahia Principe La Romana provides complimentary lounge chairs, towel service, and umbrellas for use at the pool and the beach, as well as one complimentary diving lesson per guest per stay. There is a gym and a casino at the resort, which also provides complimentary access to the Bachata nightclub in the village. Food and drinks are available 24 hours per day at various places throughout the resort, and unlimited local drinks, soft drinks, and beer are included with every guest stay.

This beachfront resort offers premium WiFi and laundry service for an additional fee and provides free on-site parking for all guests. The 400 guest rooms and suites all include TVs with premium channels, premium bedding and linens, a separate sitting area, a work desk, private bathroom with deluxe amenities, and more. Select suites feature balconies or terraces and offer additional living or sleeping space. This resort is located near Cueva de las Maravillas, and is on the southern side of the island, about an hour from Punta Cana.

Resort and staff was great. The beach access was excellent. I was worried about having to find a lounge chair near the pool or beach but there were plenty and all well located. The staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful. This place was beautiful and well maintained. I appreciated that bottled water was always well stocked in my room especially since you cannot drink the water.

Pros (+) Staff in non managerial positions are excellent. They really make an effort and Bahia Principe should acknowledge this. Head chef (Spanish) is brilliant
Cons (-) Alcohol is cheap and bottles of premium are refilled with cheaper brands. Management staff medicore Animation is poor although staff do their best. They have a time share sales house which is really absorbing and can ruin a holiday

Pros (+) The Spa is great and Inmaculada, one of the massage therapists, is the best!
Cons (-) The quality of service from the staff was poor for a hotel that claims to be 5 Stars. It is not a 5 Star hotel, it is a 3 Star hotel. However, I do give credit to the few staff members that are truly dedicated and helpful. Also the drinks were awful, and the beach/pool were dirty. We were told that when the river joins with the sea, it makes the beach dirty. So depends what time of year you visit....

Pros (+) All the staff members were super friendly and helpful!! Shout out to Hector at the pool bar!! He always hooked you up with your drinks!!!
Cons (-) There was nothing I didn't like, exception to the a/c in our room was kinda of noisy and i think needed maintenance. But it still did its job of cooling off the room!! Bahia Principe is an exceptional resort!! Would definitely recommend this to others and can't wait to go back!!

Pros (+) The staff at the restaurants were very accommodating especially at the Olas resturant as were housekeeping, and bell hops. The location was beautiful regardless of the Rainy days. Massages at the spa where excellent as well.
Cons (-) Our first day there we had to wait 30 minutes for our room , 20 minutes for luggage and an hour for a towel. Throughout the remainder of the trip towels were very scarce for us, however for patrons with a different color wristband Towels were available.

Pros (+) Gorgeous setting and grounds. Beautiful beach and spectacular pool. Large rooms, well appointed. Prompt and courteous service.
Cons (-) The food is mostly hodge-podge and gave me and my wife diarrhea. The beach is beautiful, but the water is so turbid you cannot see your hand a few inches below the surface.
