The Georgian Resort

The Lake George Hotels The Georgian Lakeside Resort is located on the shores of Lake George and offers a private beach along with a dinner theater. Guests can reach the historic Lake George village with a four-minute walk. This marina-view hotel is 39 miles from Rutland Airport and 47 miles from Albany International Airport. It offers up 157 non-smoking guest rooms, suites, and bridal suites right next to the water.

This is a seasonal resort that is open only part of the year and is not pet-friendly. The hotel offers a heated pool that is available from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend. Giovanna’s on the Lake Restaurant is also a seasonal restaurant operated during the same time. The Cabana Bar is open only in the middle of summer when the weather is permitting.

There are several different rooms configurations to choose from at the hotel. Some rooms connect, and all come with a color television with HBO and a remote. There is a direct-dial phone in each room along with a microwave, mini-refrigerator, and coffee maker. The rooms have a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, plenty of closet space, and a clock radio. Some rooms also offer jacuzzi tubs, decks, and other extra amenities.

Giovanna’s on the Lake serves lunch and dinner on the patio on a daily basis with dishes like steamed clams, shrimp alfredo, and chicken fettuccini. Other restaurants in the area include Charlie’s Bar & Kitchen and Guiseppe’s Restaurant.
