Overview

Far in upstate New York, the Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid offers travelers a great spot to enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the Adirondacks region. It is no surprise that the Winter Olympics were held in the town a few decades earlier since it is surrounded by more than 46 different mountain peaks. Today, travelers come for the summer and winter fun, including hiking, swimming, skiing, ice skating and more.

Less than 40 miles from Plattsburgh International Airport, it places travelers within ten miles of many popular skiing destinations as well as a long list of summer activities. There is the City Center with shopping, dining and entertainment, golfing, and the Olympic Arena Complex opened all year long.

Of course, the hotel also has a long list of activities that a business or leisure traveler will appreciate, as well as many handy services and amenities. These include full business services and meeting rooms, an indoor pool and sun deck, a private beach, a 24 hour grocery and convenience store, ATM in the lobby, laundry facilities, a modern fitness room, free daily breakfast services, free parking, and free WiFi throughout.

Rooms and suites all have the same essentials, including the signature Hampton Bed, LCD flat screens with cable and entertainment options, a mini-fridge, hot beverage system, microwave, daily cleaning services, phones with voicemail, large and private bathrooms with signature toiletries, and more.

Whether you are in the area entirely for business or to enjoy the amazing activities and natural beauty, the Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid is a great spot to choose.
