Great location and very friendly, helpful staff
Absolutely nothing was OK.
Guests are greeted by Winos by the urine-scented entrance. The hotel is terribly run down and seems only to be popular with hen/stag parties who leave the lifts and corridors sprayed with chips and worse. Check-in was a nightmare as there were few staff. The £180 room was filthy and below the standards anyone should be forced to stay in. (We could not move because all local hotels were full of returning students' parents). The bed was broken. The ceiling stained. The paint peeling. The windows rotting. The secondary glazing inoperative. The furniture torn and stained. The bathroom filthy and stained. The hotel is a disgraceful sore on Liverpool's face. The attached photographs only begin to demonstrate the true horror of a night at The Adelphi
