Omg terrible hotel and terrible staff. Especially the two men managing the reception, super unhelpful and inert! They also do not pick up their phone so make sure you be careful of your belongings, i suspect that i had left something there and we have called at least 8 times with not one person being able to check with housekeeping since then. Also many better available options around the area and closer to the station in proximity.
Bed was clean. Lots of tea and coffee.
Blood stains on the walls in my room. To be fair when I complained they moved me to a better room. Breakfast not served until 8:00 am so no good for business travellers. Also got locked in my room and no-one would answer the phone in reception - quite scary.
It was okay
Just so you know, the walls are super thin and you can hear he couple next to your room doing it so it’s kinda awkward when you tryna sleep.
The room looked like the one shown on the site. The room was clean. The place is conveniently located to Hyde Park and Paddington Underground Station.
The lady who received us on July 28 was very polite but provided wrong information on the time for breakfast (8 to 10am, instead of 8-9:30), so that we missed it on the next day when we wanted to grap something at 9:40. The guy at the reception on July 29 was a bit unfriendly - did not say bye or hello when we left and came back at 10 pm. The breakfast on the next two days was really modest in terms of food - bread, boiled eggs, cheese, two kind of packed jams and a kind of a fruit compote and that was it. For people travelling with little kids - beware the location of the thid bed right at the level of the window. When we arrived the window was widely open (which was good having in mind the warm day then) but our three year-child immediately landed on the bed and that was a serios danger that it easily falls outside of the room, which in our case (second floor) could have been very harmful.
Clean good location
