The room was perfect and the room service was delicious and fast. Also it was local to all I wanted to visit.
Quite expensive for the lack of extras. One bottle of water is not really enough but some people may be okay with that.
Location was good and great relaxing breakfast
The hotel advertises heavily on Saving Water and Energy, however on the 4th floor it took over 7 mins to receive hot water for shower, such a waste but when discussed with the staff on check out - he just laughed and did not care.... So no policies or staff campaigns in place to support this slogan.
Excellent - the coffee and food
I have stayed at the radisson blu in both Holborn and Jersey Channel Islands. This particular location was decent, but we found the interior rooms to be lacking anything special. Your sleeping in a box. The tv covered the whole mirror where you sit down to blow your hair. THe chair almost touched the bed so no room to pass, very dated nothing special. Bathroom was standing room only. Hugely disappointing. With som Many amazing hotels in a London within the same price range , Ill definitely skip this one!
The bar was decent, the staff pleasant
Excellent staff especially Cecelia who could not have been more helpful.
The bed was not comfortable- too hard to sleep well
For visitors to London’s Kensington or Chelsea neighborhoods, the Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt is a wonderful option. A registered historic building, it dates to the 1800s and has managed to retain all of its antique charm while merging it with modern convenience and comfort. Located just steps from the Gloucester Road Tube Station, it is five minutes from Knightsbridge and almost in sight of Royal Albert Hall. Favorite destinations such as the Imperial College, Royal College of Art, Victoria & Albert Museum, and Hyde Park are all within a mile.
While such a wonderful location is certainly appealing, the hotel is also amenities-rich and features such options as an in-house restaurant that serves afternoon teas, Sunday roasts, and classic British cooking. It also makes room service available as well as daily breakfasts. There is a full business service center, in-room spa options, concierge and 24-hour front desk, a mobile “virtual” host, dry cleaning and laundry, a fitness center, ticketing services, and more.
There are 200 standard rooms, 11 business-class rooms, 13 family rooms and one luxurious suite available. All of the rooms are decorated in an opulent style and feature marble baths, premium linens, and signature toiletries. They also have mini-fridges, climate controls, hot beverage systems, free Wi-Fi, and sitting areas. Business rooms have work desks and are suited to inviting colleagues to meet in the small meeting room just off the main sleeping area.
Whether it is a business trip or a holiday to London, the Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt offers an unforgettable location, wonderful British food, and premium services that ensure a deeply satisfying stay.
