This classic hotel is eight miles from Bob Hope Airport and 14 miles from Los Angeles International Airport. It offers 130 non-smoking guestrooms.

There are several guestrooms and suites to choose from, each of which is equipped with a 37-inch high-definition television and complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access. Rooms come with a digital safe, coffee maker, Starbucks Caffe Verona Dark Roast, English Breakfast, and Earl Grey Tea. There are a microwave and refrigerator as well as a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. All rooms come with Poggesi bath amenities and some come with bathrobes. Suites offer a separate seating area and additional amenities.

The Hollywood Hotel offers breakfast each morning with an assortment of dishes, including cereal, bagels, pastries, omelets, fresh fruit, sausage, and muffins. Route 66 Bar & Lounge is located within the hotel and serves dinner. It also offers open mic and booked comedy shows three times a week.

Pros (+) The hotel is in great proximity to local public transportation. The hotel itself is a great value and very clean.
Cons (-) The area is a bit schetchy. I would not suggest this location if you wished to be in walking distance from attractions.

Cons (-) Pool not open. They charge for anything and everything, making it feel like Vegas. Difficult to park, deal with mgmt and to utilize hotel features. Pool was closed every time we tried to use it. On paper this hotel looks like a good choice but in reality it is like a cheap motel.

Pros (+) Clean, spacious room. Nice little courtyard, pool area was nice as well. Conveniently located near some great food options, a little walk or drive will get you to nearby entertainment options. I would stay here again.
Cons (-) Would be nice if parking was included, but like most places in big cities it was an extra $25, but the parking is gated and ensures your car is safe.
