The staff were very kind, The hostel is great for socializing - the lounge is great, the staff organize dinners, going to get tappas together, unlimited sangrias in the night for 3 euros, walking and bike tours, pub crawls etc... No official breakfast - but free coffee and churros in the morning. Hostel is in a great location - very close to metro, the city center, restaurants.
The bedroom / bathroom could be improved: beds didn't have curtains, lockers were a bit small, the shower was a bit annoying (you had to press every 10-15 seconds to get water)
It was the noisiest place I’ve ever stayed. I get that it’s a hostel but the noise was that loud we didn’t sleep one wink two of our four nights stay and I even went downstairs to ask people to be quiet, to no avail. The staff were there joining in and encouraging it! It says it’s quiet hours between 12 & 8am, which is absolute rubbish as they don’t enforce it. Surely the primary reason for booking a place to stay is so you can sleep there? Even with earplugs in you could hear the screaming, shouting, playing guitar, drunken singing and laughing throughout the entire night.
The staff was amazing and always happy to help or just to have a wonderful conversation. Especially Cristina and Dani. They also have amazing Sangria on site! And there is always people willing to hang out or to play something like Jenga speed! P.s i’m great dancer thanks to the partner, one of the amazing staff members - Lorena!
That I’ve stayed only for 2 nights..
The property was extremely close to Puerta del Sol and the city center of Madrid. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were young and helpful in orienting me as it was my first time Madrid. The atmosphere was fun and youthful. The common areas were extremely well utilized throughout the day and most of those staying friendly and interesting.
The beds felt a bit small.
Great atmosphere and very friendly team !
