Pros:I was looking every where for a hotel when we were staying in Monterey but every where I looked was booked. I read the reviews that this place was clean and a good place to stay and so I booked a late last minute reservation online. The guy at the front was very kind. He checked us in with no problem, even though it was 11pm, and came upstairs to help us to our room because the door key got stuck. Once inside our room it was very clean and neat. I came with my husband and our two kids. There were no complaints here. Beds were comfy, sheets were immaculate, room was very clean. There was no air conditioning but its so cool that close to the water you don't really need one. I cracked a window and the cross breeze and fresh air were more than sufficient! I will definitely be staying here again the next time me and my family are in town.
Pros:very close to grocery stores and close to Monterrey overall only reason there are positives was only the staff was friendly and location access to freeway and groceries.
Cons:upon inspection of room, first thing my wife and i noticed is the room smelled of cigarette smoke. 0 amenities though there was a stove, full fridge, no pots pans. 1 small tv and had zero kid channels but yet every adult channel. had to ask for a room lamp in the master bedroom as there was not one. Comforters were itchy, i suspected bed bugs though i could not find them. shower was had one of the worse water pressures i have had in years. poor ventilation. No hangers, no ironing board or iron. door only had a single lock.
