Close to downtown
Bed was very uncomfortable. The room was in need of repainting/repapering. The breakfast was about as good as Denny's. The eating location was tight, and breakfast was late. The innkeeper tried to make the most of what she had to work with, but the place is quite "long in the tooth", as it were.
Perfect location for a romantic getaway surrounded by magical ocean! Rooms were comfortable - rustic Mendocino style, which we love. The couple running the place was super sweet and prepared a fabulous communal breakfast every morning. I would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast was okay. Enjoyed the folk music with Holly. Location was good.
The room was small and dirty. The sink was next to bed with completely separate taps for hot and cold water. There were no toiletries provided except a soap bar. The bed wasn't clean and we could easily spot grey hair and dust. Overall this was our worst hotel/B&B experience in the last 5 years.
Staff is excellent and close to the beach and downtown. Little worn out place but if you are ok with small wear n tear then good value for money.
They messed my booking so got a sub-standard room for the first night. Second night was pleasant.
Easy to find, convenient for walking tour of town, beach access right across the street. Very nice, friendly staff, delicious breakfast. Very dog friendly. Room was clean, nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable.
Stairs up to the inn and street parking made unloading the car difficult. The front entry hall was very cluttered and didn't give a good first impression. I am not a fan of Victorian style and particularly unrefurbished tired & soiled-looking antiques, so didn't want to sit on any of the chairs in the "living room" area.
