1. Staff service 2. Near to the beach 3. Staff service on the beach
The colors on the way to the rooms
The front desk staff, the location and all what the hotel had to offer
The pool closed early
The service, outdated rooms, some had a foul odor, the morning staff was horrible, complained about the room with the foul odor, ended up giving us another room that was extremely outdated, complained about that since it¿s supposedly a 4.5 star hotel,
The hidden daily resort fee charge assessed upon arrival for pool & wifi even if you fo not use it. The hotel needs some updates and my king suite was sub par, below average and could use some touch up paint and repairs. Was not worth the room price.
Amenities are great. They outsource food service which wasn¿t ideal but they have to figure out COVID so I get it.
The fire alarm in our room was covered with a shower cap and I assume many other rooms had same to avoid detection while people were smoking. Strong scent of marijuana throughout hallways.
Location, staff but that's about it
The rooms are extremely dated, the lobby is maybe a 4 star hotel but the rooms are 2 star if being generous, not worth the price at all, not even clean especially during covid
Location & quality
The hotel had bed bugs. At 5am on my last day of stay a bed bug was crawling up my arm. I recorded the bug and was able to trap it. I showed my findings to the hotel management and was treated as if I had fabricated the story.
The hotel is hiding bedbug activity. Instead of having the entire facility checked they won't. Management argued me until no end although I had all evidence of what happened to me at their hotel.
Location and pool. Lobby is very modern with the small art gallery
Rooms are very dated. Need to be updated and modernized. Looking out over front of hotel, the awning is crumbling and needs to be replaced
room was dull and gloomy
Noise Curt front desk staff Uninspired breakfast with over cooked eggs Exhorbitant resort fees for mediocre outdoor space Overall, low value and poor ambience
I'm afraid the experience was let down by the age of the hotel, poor perception of quality to price (value) and generally poor, inattentive service. Staff appear to regularly write apologies to reviewers on the web; what is needed is a property overhaul.
The Sagamore is an aged property in need of refurbishment. This property is not a 4* property by any international hotelier standards. The imagery on the website is deceptive and not reflective of the quality of the rooms. An era bygone, customers beware.
Reminiscent of the classic hotels of the 50s and 60s, the Sagamore Miami Beach hotel is located on the shimmering sands of the Florida coastline. Guests can enjoy relaxing by the pristine waters of the outdoor pool, or they can admire the view from the rooftop terrace. Breakfast is available daily from the on site restaurant, and guests can imbibe at the on site bar. The fitness center is available for a workout, and the Sagamore can provide guests with beach umbrellas for a day of surf and sand. The front desk is available to facilitate your stay no matter what time it is in the day or night. Plus, the property has WiFi in all the spaces.
There are 93 rooms available within the property, and all of them are smoke-free. Guests will love the daily maid service as it keeps their living spaces sparkling clean and well stocked. There is air conditioning in the rooms to maintain comfort, and guests can enjoy views of the ocean from many of the large windows.
Near the property, guests will find the Collins Avenue Shopping Area and other South Beach attractions. The Lincoln Road Mall is a five-minute walk away, and the Miami Beach Boardwalk can also be walked to, as well. The Maimi Beach Marina is not too far, and Lummus Park Beach is just about 10 minutes away. Guests also enjoy visits to the Miami Beach Botanical Garden which can be reached via a 15-minute walk.
