Pros:Very clean, staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful even unsolicited. Completely-full service hotel. The hotel is within easy walking distance of everything in downtown Midland. On-site parking was really easy. The hotel is very quiet, even though there was a huge holiday wedding while I was there, and almost every room was occupied. The hotel bar is small but really nice. I believe this was originally a high-end Marriott Autograph hotel, and the current management appears to be maintaining that caliber.
Cons:Ice, beverages, snacks, toiletries, anything not in the room requires room service - a closet with ice/soda machines on each floor would, or even a discrete sundry shop near the lobby would be nice. The one restaurant connected to the hotel is convenient but highly overrated, and a little pricey of the quality - portions are plenty generous.
