Pros: Beautiful old home, they kept the things that made it unique, but changed enough to make it comfortable. Beautiful quiet property. Excellent for a private getaway.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was amazing, location for me was perfect
Cons: all perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing and comfortable. Love the historic aspect of the Inn.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was LARGE! Old-fashioned, and yet with all modern amenities. The breakfasts were FABULOUS! and extra touches everywhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful B&B, lovely grounds, well maintained. The amenities were more than I expected and very thoughtful. It was wonderful to take a glass of wine, home baked cookies, fruit and sit out back watching the sun set. Very relaxing. Beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lydia's breakfast was outstanding. She made us feel right at home. I had asked if she was doing anything "special" for the royal wedding and she made sure the TV was on in the great room and ready for anyone who wanted to watch while enjoying coffee, tea, etc. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. Great, historical home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is great, bed is very comfortable, just like in my own home.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well cared for property, Lydia is a very good host, all details are cared for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was plentiful and extremely flavorful. Enjoyed the country, cozy ambience of a 1700 period home close to downtown Princeton and surrounding areas. Spring was in full bloom which made our trip even more special.
Cons: An option to have a floor fan, to help block out obvious extra sounds from an older home, would be helpful as well as to help move the air around since the windows are not really for opening since the home is 150+ yrs old. Just helpful for in between weather like spring and fall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lydia our host was fabulous. The property was beautiful - sitting rooms, patio, yard, bedrooms. It is an historic property with a wonderful vintage feel. Perfect for a relaxing getaway, and a great home base close to Princeton if visiting children or friends at the school.
Cons: The only negative I can think of is the mild traffic noise from the street, which kept it from being a complete oasis.

7.1 Good
Pros: bed very comfortable
Cons: NO gluten free menu and at $100 a head for Valentines dinner very bad. Service bit slow. Breakfast again no gluten free bread. so you offer an inclusive continental breakfast but no gf croissants etc. Ridiculous in a high end place. I have lived in this area over 30 years and will not come back to eat. Food ok but nothing great No bedside lighting. Had to get out of bed to lower lighting. Valentines Day......you didnt give the ladies flowers or something to recognize the occasion. Not good
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice old mansion
Cons: The restaurant
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent restaurant , very attentive staff, nicely decorated for the holidays
Cons: The rooms did not have much space for luggage and put away clothes
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location , clear rooms
Cons: Rooms were very small , you can hear the room next door , no adaptors.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: I was charged pre-paid three times for one room. They of course fixed it immediately No one seems to know how it happened
7.9 Good
Pros: Being transferred to a much better room after a dismal first night in a tiny room with a broken toilet.
Cons: The first room.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location of the Peacock Inn is great, especially for business, research, or just a visit to Princeton University. The bed was very comfortable with superior linens. The bedroom and bathroom were well lighted.
Cons: The room was very small; just passing by another person at the foot of the bed or behind the desk chair was very cumbersome. Parking in the evening was inconvenient because of the limited space that also had to accommodate dining guests; valet parking was obligatory. The choices for breakfast are limited to a small "Continental Breakfast" box on the menu; no warm breakfast dishes (e.g., eggs or omelets) are included for overnight guests, rather disappointing consider the room's cost. Basic teas, such English breakfast or Earl Grey, were surprisingly not available; the coffee, however, was excellent.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was excellent. And I loved the elegant front porch and garden
Cons: The continental breakfast included in the room was one of the worst I have ever had. The pastries were dry, small and tasteless. The weekend service was particularly poor - we waited about 45 minutes to be served, and were not given what we ordered (cafetière coffee, plain yoghurt). Everything seemed ad libbed.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Modern rooms and bathroom Great early morning coffee station pre breakfast
Cons: Only 2 items included for free with breakfast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel with great food.
Cons: Many stairs to room.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Good breakfast. We were also upgraded to a bigger room without even asking...Bonus!
Cons: The refrigerator was a little noisy
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room space was wonderful.
Cons: The staff was very helpful. We had booked a room that said that had a sofa bed, when we went upstairs there was no sofa bed, we told the front desk and the upgraded us to a two bedroom instead. Our baby slept through the night something that doesn't happen that often.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room
Cons: Everything was perfect the staff were great, clean very nice
5.7 Okay
Pros: I liked the furniture of the dining area for breakfast. Comfortable and it wasn't crowded.
Cons: Password for wifi changed the second day and you needed to go to the front desk to get it. It would have been more convenient to just keep it the same and change it on a weekly basis. Toilets weren't cleaned after the first night. Front desk staff not present both days we entered hotel and so we had to wait for them. We arrived at midnight both nights so maybe they have other responsibilities to tend to at that late hour since most guests are already checked in. The exercise room was quite warm because it is connected to the laundry room. There was some water issue the second night as they needed floor fans to dry the floor. Decor of room seems outdated. Even the apple clock did not have a lightning connector but the old connector that most people no longer use.
7.1 Good
Pros: The spa need to be fix up before a customer or I arrive. Food are good but not add cheese melt in the eggs.
Cons: The spa need to be fix up instead of waiting! I did swim indoor pool. It was not bad. Too cold need be balance cool and heat too.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Huge room with sitting area. Large bathroom. Comfortable bedding. Very clean and quiet
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the courteous staff and the cleaness of the room.
Cons: I thought the pool was not cystal clear. The water, I thought was a little cloudy. The complimentary breakfast was good but I wished it had scrambled eggs, waffles.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The kitchen lady, for breakfast, was so friendly and nice, she was the best thing in this hotel.
Cons: Although my reservation was from 13 August, but I checked in 14 August around 2:00 am or 3:00 am, due to flight delay, and the lady on the reception counted 13th as my check in date, which shouldn’t be. I must be compensated for this extra night, money should be refunded. My room wasn’t cleaned at all for 3 consecutive days, nor tidied up, nor towels were changed. Cleanliness level is way below what is mentioned on the application.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Asked for a hypoallergenic room. Although the room was clean and the pillows were non allergic, I still got congested in bed. I was startled when someone came off the elevator with a poodle. If you allow animals to stay in the room, it can be the source of my problem. THIS WAS NOT A SERVICE DOG!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and professional and breakfast was always on time.
Cons: Great place to stay all the way.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I are sometimes hard to please, but this was not the case this time. Everything was exceptionally great. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: N/A
6.7 Good
Pros: Good breakfast, clean rooms.
Cons: Rate was high for a staybridge. Didn't do much to get me rebooked in to the wedding block.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: very soft pillows
Cons: nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean and I liked that I actually saw staff members pacing the floors.
Cons: I didn’t like my room being towards the back because it was right above where the fire pit is and it was a little loud. Also the pool was extremely cold for an indoor pool. This was a get away before school starts with my 8 year old granddaughter and she really couldn’t enjoy the pool like she wanted to.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great, cost was perfect and it was clean.
Cons: The elevator has carpet (not the right type) and smells. The room smelled, they tried to cover the smell (it smelled like a pet), the bathroom needs updating-tub is horrible.

6.7 Good
Pros: The rooms were clean and comfortable. Balcony. Tastefully furnished.
Cons: There were guests running a meth lab on the property. The fumes got into my room. In the hallway one could pick up the activity. This is a common problem hotel managers should police hallways at night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I didn’t take breakfast.
Cons: Water temperature of the swimming pool too cold.
5.4 Okay
Cons: Noisy place. Bathroom toilet kept running

7.9 Good
Pros: Club lounge is nice and very convenient and I like it.
Cons: None.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The night staff was awesome when we checked in. The gentleman was such a joy.
Cons: We felt that what was advertised via pictures were false. We came to the hotel thinking of romance, and relaxation. We didn't get it.. Our room was small, tight space for two people. The basketball court was a dirt filled small space, big enough for a small child. The volleyball courts were horrible. The volleyball nets were full of holes and the sand was disgusting. We wanted to leave the first day we got there, but didn't want to be charged for not staying. This place was not what it advertised. We were very disappointed. The staff were fairly nice. For the price we paid for the stay, food, and drinks. I would never stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was out of way in a beautiful wooded area. The interior decor was lovely in the lobby. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I was supposed to get double beds but they sold out. You don’t get any phone service that’s why I would not be returning to this hotel and the breakfast was not worth 20 bucks.

7.1 Good
Cons: No hot water again! I hot water in visit in July either. Ran water for 20 minutes, only lukewarm!
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast, staff , location and pool
Cons: Another guest was recording us from their room while my kids were in the pool. Bathroom too small and room was small. Late check in but early check out.. I don’t like that. That’s why I always ask for a late check out and if it’s not given, I don’t bother booking.
7.1 Good
Pros: The breakfast was fresh and really good. The rooms were clean, no real complaints.
Cons: However, the only thing I didn't like was the $99 hold on your card for incidentals when I had called the hotel prior to ask if they had incidentals. I was a really upset about putting $99 on my card even if they would take the hold off of my card after my stay. Also, the hotel needs to be renovated the interior was outdated and old feeling.

10.0 Excellent

7.0 Good
Pros: Decent price and pleasant staff.
Cons: No dark curtains, only white shear curtains in my room, and it overlooked the swimming pool. Decor seemed dated and wallpaper had patched areas.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The AC seem to be on a timer and would go off for long periods during which time id be really hot. That can use some attending to. Otherwise i recommend this place without reservations. Thanks for a great weekend!!!
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel was very clean, breakfast was wonderful, room was very nice.
Cons: When we turned on our shower, we literally had to wait 10-15 minutes for the water to warm up!!

Pros: Eggs, bed comfortable, clean dishes, new appliances, lots of towels. Bath tub was slippery. Soap dispenser mob fell off.
Cons: Carpet could use cleaning. One window was missing a pull down shade. Living room could use a bit of paint. Front door needs paint as it was scuffed up.

Pros: Plenty of space for my family. Kitchen comes with an oven which is different that most places with a "kitchen," which usually only have a microwave and stove top range. Was asked where I would like our room when checking in which was nice. We were able to get first floor, near the pool and very close to where we parked.
Cons: They did not supply dish washing liquid only dishwasher powder, only having used a few dishes using the dishwasher would have been a waste.

Cons: At check in I was provided my room key to room. 119 but there was a guest Already in that room. Myself and my 16 year old daughter walk in on the guest. So it's a good thing we had the sex talk prior. Also the poll was out of service .
4.6 Okay
Cons: False advertising rude breakfast staff. Very dissatisfied with how everything was
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The listing shows a full kitchen . When you get there it’s only the rooms with 2 bedrooms that should have been stated on the website . I had to be move to 3 different rooms . The first one the stovetop wasn’t working. The second room they offered was handicapped Really. The next room I went into the tv was so damn small . Then finally they offered us another room that had a small tv in the bedroom and bigger size in the living room. At this point I wish I can cancel and get my money back ....Breakfast was all pork no beef or Turkey products. Bad stay never again...

Pros: The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The air conditioning system could not keep up. I reported this to the staff and was told that it was because it was a hot day. The truth is, they just didn't want to move us to a different room. In addition, the breakfast wasn't good and there was not enough food put out to feed everyone on line.
6.0 Good
Pros: It was centrally located and the room was clean when we got there.
Cons: They did not clean our room on the second day. When we returned, the garbage was there and the bed was not made. The dirty towels were still in the bathroom. I was disappointed because this has never happened in any of the Marriott Hotels.

The first two nights were horrible, we could not sleep with noise in the hallways and children running. We asked to be moved and were sent to the 4th floor. Cons: The lady at the front counter was new she over charged my bank card but management fixed it with no issues very clean staff friendly breakfast was great id definitely go back
1.0 Poor
Pros: I want to claim the money back from you as the hotel refused to take care of our concerns. The AC was so noisy that we had to sit at the entrance of the room both nights as hotel management refused to do anything claiming that the hotel has old AC system.
Cons: They were completely aloof of our problems. Had to move out and book ourselves in a neighboring city hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very accommodating, great location, great breakfast

Cons: I loved everything about this place
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The customer service. The cleaniness, the comfort of the beds. The room heats up, unlike Berkley Heights which rooms can't go pass 72, had to complain for someone to fix that over there.
Cons: For that price, you have to get better cable/tv options like your Berkley Heights location. I understand that location is less than 3 years old while your location has been here for ages. But I think thats the only thing you should ask upper management eventually. Especially the suites..

Pros: Quiet location but close to restaurants (walkable distance); which is super convenient Loved the separation between the bed area and sitting area. Comfortable sofa with ottoman. Free breakfast is always convenient. Free Internet was useful especially for work.
Cons: The rooms need a little more attention with cleaning up dust. Tons of dust and the room was very musky upon arrival; which was disappointed. But ok once I Febreezed the entire room. The TV setup was outdated. I wish they could provide options such as Netflix and Hulu.

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Holiday Inn lady was mean and rude upon arrival and she would honor the double bed reservation made on this site. She tried to put us in a one bed room with a rollout cot and she prepared my booked double bed room to give away to a Jahova witness event person. Very poor experience and she should be reported and fired.
7.1 Good
Pros: It is conveniently located with comfortable rooms.
Cons: One of the reasons we booked our overnight trip here was because the website said heated pool. They didn’t specify that it is only heated in the winter. Yes it was hot outside but the water was absolutely freezing so most of my family didn’t even go in as planned. Then the second day the jacuzzi was out of order.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful building and staff were very professional. The room was clean.
Cons: The mattress was not good. The breakfast was not good either
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Oddly luxurious being in a repurposed office building. Affordable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was wonderful. Kara was amazing and helped us tremendously at check in although the issues we had were due to my error. I greatly appreciated the professionalism and kindness throughout our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and quiet.
7.1 Good
Pros: I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is family friendly and the continental breakfast was exactly what to expect. The rooms were clean and great for one night. I would say this is definitely a hotel for a quick trip and no more than 1 or 2 nights.
Cons: The hotel is shared “sister hotel”with the Crown Plaza. I didn’t know this while booking. I do think they should let you know that all their amenities are at the other location. No biggie, if you are able to walk back and forth. They also shared pics online that were a bit misleading. IE: the water fountains are not on their location it’s a building shared in the complex.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious and convenient. A short drive to Princeton, or, during the week, the hotel offers a free shuttle.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It is a very pretty, peaceful setting.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Upon check in I noticed the room type had been changed from two double beds to a king. The parking lot was almost empty and I only saw four other guests the entire time I was there. The hotel claimed my reservation was changed as the hotel was booked to capacity. Not a chance was that true. I was advised that if I could not furnish evidence that I booked a room with double beds, I would be charged $25 for a rollaway. I was able to prove my reservation was not met and a rollaway was left upright in the room for me to set up, which required moving multiple pieces of furniture. I understand the quality of a Holiday Inn and was not expecting many amenities. The hotel lived up to that expectation. Very outdated common areas--looks like the 90's was the most recent update. Access to the gym at the Crowne Plaza worked fine, but again, outdated equipment.
Cons: Having my reservation changed then dishonesty by the hotel that the property was full when it appeared to be almost vacant.
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful setting- walking trails and quiet. No road noise
Cons: Long meandering hallways to get to room. Dated

Pros: Location to downtown New Brunswick

Pros: Everything
Cons: Had sausage two days in a row a breakfast. Should switch it up with bacon
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I loved the bed, very comfortable. Loved the cleanliness, especially walking down our hall & upon arriving into our room, it smelled like they had just cleaned it! I especially loved the shower! It was a huge walk in shower (no tub) & a great shower head w great water pressure!
Cons: Breakfast wasn't the greatest, but what hotel continental breakfast is anything to boast about?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent for where I needed to be, and it was easy to get into NYC as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable. Whole Foods and a Rite Aid right next to hotel. Updated and clean. Smells clean, fresh and breakfast was good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The facility was comfortable and the location, great. Rite-Aid located next door and a shopping center with restaurants and more in walking distance.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Rooms and service were very good. Breakfast could be improved.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: It would be nice to have a dim light
6.3 Good
Pros: Fresh fruit at breakfast. Breakfast area was tidy and organized.
Cons: I did not get value for money. Room was overpriced for what it was and it looked much nicer in the online photos, which were deceiving. I would have never booked the room if I had seen it in person. It was dated, basic and disappointing. I have paid less but better rooms. I will not stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well insulated rooms. Meaning noise levels are really quiet except for an occasional door slam.
Cons: I didn't like the $30 charge that I didn't budget into my trip I was charged to prevent damage, smoking or pets.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was located in an excellent part of town, we will stay here again.
Cons: No bath tub in the room
5.8 Okay
Pros: Clean
Cons: A little more courtesy could be given to make my stay more comfortable. Told desk I was unhappy with location of room at end of long hallway as it felt lonely to walk to my room. His comment was “I can’t use that room again for the night” my response was “So?”, he explained that the room would have to be cleaned......in essence he would lose a room open for potential customer for the night. I’ll give them a good rate for being clean, but not for courtesy and I’ll never use Hampton Inn again. Quite unfortunate customer service!

Cons: Nothing - we really enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Comfortable and fantastic location in the centre of the Palmers Square and opposite Princeton University. We were upgraded which was a lovely surprise and had a huge suite to ourselves. Quite pricey, but with the upgrade it was worth it.
Cons: There were a couple of weddings on while we were there so the lifts were slow and busy. I would have liked a more 'lobby area' to relax in on arrival or just to chill out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great experience at Nassau Inn. The staff was lovely, the room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is fantastic if you need to get to campus quickly.

Pros: The location and the service were fantastic. Loved the restaurant, the Yankee Tap Room.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The old Inn, central, easy location...
Cons: But, the old girl has had her day. It is so out dated. Even things they could fix like touching up banged up furniture, old fixtures, rusting tubs, peeling wallpaper, they have not. Surprising condition and with all the newer boutique hotels you would think they would make more of an effort. For 40 years I have been in and out and never saw the rooms, carpet and halls like that...
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location to where we needed to go Walking distance to food and shopping
Cons: Dirty baseboards and smelled musty
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice historic building in center of town
Cons: Very very loud bar, crowded lobby at all hours , too many functions going on, not a peaceful getaway place. bed too small, room average, and an odor coming from the heat vent that was hard to tolerate.

Pros: Breakfast was great, rooms were super clean and check in was easy. Only issue was the bathroom door fell off the track in the middle of the night on my niece (she is an athletic 16 year old) so didn’t get hurt she was able to hold it up but we all got up at 3 am to lift it back on the track. Didn’t report it since we just fixed it and it was the middle of the night but other than this minor mishap which really didn’t affect our stay whatsoever, it was a Nice hotel, clean and served its purpose.
