Cons:Everything, rude rude rude manager and very dirty and daited, maids were super loud , never stay there again. Worst place we've ever stayed at. I can't believe there are decent reviews of this dump!!!!!!

Pros:Clean, sizable. Good location for quick access to downtown Monterey, Carmel-by-the-sea, Big Sur, etc. The internet was surprisingly fast, and free! The microwave and fridge were also quite convenient.
Cons:Noise was the biggest issue: the ceilings creaked a lot every time the people above us moved around. It felt like we could hear everything they were doing. If you're thinking about staying here, definitely try and get a 2nd-floor room. Since our room was very near a busy street, we also heard a lot of noise from traffic and passing cars.

Pros:I really liked that their was breakfast in the morning. That the room was clean and that the pool was near the room. I really enjoyed all the plants outside and the balcony.
Cons:I did not like that when we got their late they were very few options on where to dine and that our heater wasn't working.

Cons:Breakfast was hour later than stated at check in. Nothing made this place stick out. It's just a place to sleep. Will stay elsewhere next time.

Pros:Easy check in & nice staff. Nothing fancy. Bed was comfortable & room was clean but no air conditioner just a fan which was ok since it wasn't too warm.
Cons:The breakfast area is in the lobby and was so crowded with no place to sit. Had to dodge many people just to get a bowl of cereal!!

Pros:Staff members were very warm and welcoming and the free breakfast was better than similarly-priced hotels, offering cereal, mini muffins, fruit coffee and even (really good) do-it-yourself waffles. Our room came standard with an extremely large king-sized bed. An added bonus was the mini fridge - great for keeping our camping groceries cold as we traveled through California.
Cons:Only real downside was that while taking a shower, I noticed that there were stray hairs on one of the walls - remnants from the previous guest(s). Not a huge deal to us as the rest of the room was spotless and we were staying less than 24h, but a bit off-putting nonetheless.
