It’s right in the center street of downtown Monterey, a lot restaurants and shops, only thing is there isn’t AC in the rooms, only a fan in there, I was too hot to fell asleep.

Location, location, location! Close to fisherman’s wharf, on a Main Street with multiple food options. Easy to walk the dog. Only thing missing was AC, the room was a bit stuffy, even with both windows open and a fan (provided in the room) going.

Pros (+) The staff were SO amazing! They were helpful and kind and their customer service was just so outstanding! The lobby was very pretty and the spa and other facilities were absolutely perfect! The locationn was nice; five minutes from he wharf and downtown. I’ve never been that close before so it was nice.

Cons (-) They in the process of adding more room. But when they put you in the "historic" part of the hotel, it seems ancient. We were put above a cafe, very noise until 10:30.
