The staff was amazing. One person stood out above the rest for me, Ju. He was very knowledgeable, approachable, kind, welcoming, extremely helpful, and easy on the eyes.
Clean, great location, very friendly staff Breakfast was awesome. There's 2 awesome new mac desktops to surf while u eat food was actually better than hotel breakfast options my single room was clean, warm, awesome it was basically 50% of the space of a hotel room, at 30% of the cost. Better service too. Love this place.
En suite? You bet!
This hostel was, at one point, a hotel -- the rooms still have their own bathroom and climate control which is fantastic! Super clean and inviting lobby. I didn't partake in the free breakfast, but it looked good.. sadly, not a good diet for diabetics.
Bunkbeds. There's no getting around it in a hostel, but bunkbeds really suck for older people and for getting a good night's sleep. There should be a better way... In this hostel, the beds were somewhat new, but screws were missing from the upper berth making me fear that the top bed would collapse on me in my sleep.
The staff were very helpful within reason. It is extremely well located next to the bus terminal for provincial ++ destinations plus Dorval (PET) airport and the subway system as well as a reasonably good nightlife area with a variety of bars and restaurants at good rates servicing the University students in the area. The hotel has two free internet points in the lobby using up to date portables. Many people seem to bring their own laptops but it is still very useful for those who don't travel wired.
The breakfast was bare bones to the minimum. The hotel room's electrical accessories were old and missing pieces like TV channel changers. The hotel is stuck between being a hostel and a hotel and the room price seems at odds with some of the services (see breakfast above) and its clientel (many European and other nationality "student travelers".
Great people and great service. The people who work there make this place special. You are part of the family. They want to make everything possible for your stay to be memorable.
It is right next to the Central Bus Station. However, three are not that much noise.
