Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort7.4/10 ratingout of 24 reviews · C$ 117 avg price/ night
PROS: Everything about the hotel and location were great. Large apartment with huge patioCONS: The check in experience was horrible. My wife, myself and my mother all had the misfortune to deal with the same women on separate occasions on the day of check in and it was horrible in different ways. Without going in to details, for the price point and the simple fact she works in the hospitality industry she was not very hospitable. She may forget she is representing the company. The one good thing is that just about everything and everyone else only got better from there, but it was still a very disappointing start to our stay.

The Sebel Maroochydore8.1/10 ratingout of 13 reviews · C$ 151 avg price/ night
PROS: The apartment is very spacious. Large two bedroom apartment, two bathrooms, one with a spa. Excellent views of the surf and beach. Walking distance to Cotton Tree, Alexandra Headlands and Mooloolaba Everything supplied as part of the apartment.CONS: Wifi is very slow. I would certainly expect better wifi from a named brand like the Sebel.
