Website makes no note of the facilities not being available in November i.e bar is closed, was hoping for a nice drink in the warm bar during stay. No evening meals available, which mean't I had to go out in freezing temperatures in search of a meal. The biggest shocker was having no heating on in hotel on a freezing night until 7pm( I had to visit a unmanned reception desk about 3 times before I could get anyones attention to ask) and then it gets turned off at 9pm. Woke up many times in night freezing cold with Icicles hanging off my nose!! You have to wait until 6am to thaw out. I do believe I was the only mug staying in the place. Booked in for 2 nights stayed for one then went to Travelodge. A shame really because I wanted to support a local B&B. NEVER AGAIN.

This family-run guest house is situated on Morecambe’s west promenade, overlooking the splendid West End Gardens and Morecambe Bay, with the mountains of the Lake District on the horizon. Each en suite room is centrally heated and has a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi and tea/coffee-making facilities. A generous and tasty full cooked English breakfast is included in the price. There is a lift service to most floors and the guest house has a ramp to the entrance for wheelchair users and free private parking is available for guests’ use. The Clifton is just under an hour's drive from the stunning natural beauty of the Lake District. Manchester and Liverpool are both just over an hour away by car.
