The villa was very nice. It was perfect for the two of us. Our villa was quiet and private, very beautiful and luxurious. My wife was very happy with her birthday escape. The in-villa dining was superb. Both the BBQ and candle-light dining were very, very good. We were treated very well by the staff. Everyone was very accomodating. Best place we have stayed in China.
The spa prices were very high compared to what is available outside the resort. The spa services were ok, just very expensive. Only complaints about the villa are the outdoor shower smelled like rotting plants (because rotting leaves covered it - not used much and not maintained) so we never used it, and the pool was cold. Seems like the hot springs could be used to heat the pool a little?
The Indonesian manager was very kind to us and very helpful otherwise other stuff can not really speak English which can be unconvenient sometimes Each room has its own jacuzzi which is very nice and discrete
All the other amenities other than jacuzzi was not available so no hot steam, the swimming pool was only witj cold water So I felt that this was a very nice place but totally overpriced for that it is
It's a nice Balinese style villa with a hot spring inside the property. Very private place to rest. Very good Indonesian manager, who speaks English well and work very professional. There are some nice details like coffee-maker and good Longjing tea inside the villa.
After check-in, we realized that jacuzzi of the hot spring doesn't work in our villa. After dialog with a manager, we moved to another villa and was offered with half hour massage for both of us. But nex date after 12 o'clock hot spring has been broken across all the property. We had a wedding anniversary this day and after this incident, both of us was in a bad mood. Next day we were offered late check-in and free transfer, which makes us feel a bit better. Every time you need to switch on/off jacuzzi you need to order it on the reception and when Indonesian guy is out, nobody can understand English there. The same is when you want to fill the water. So if you plan to use hot tube all day be ready that serviceman will be your third villa habitant. European food is bad at the restaurant (good by Chinese standards but for 400 EUR per night hotel it's definitely bad)
This hotel provides villas with own hot spring and swimming pool. No interruption from the outside. Very private place.
The food for candle light dinner in the villa could taste better for this price tag.
This holiday village is located in Sizhuang, which is still recognised as being one of the best hot-spring destinations in China by the Chinese government. Nanjing International Airport is a pleasant 45-minute journey from the establishment. This holiday village comprises a number of villas, each of which provides uncompromising comfort, space and, above all, the utmost in privacy. Luxuriously appointed, the city hotel is sinfully spacious and features a gourmet kitchen and an open-air natural hot spring. The villas feature a private swimming pool with a sundeck within a garden courtyard, as well as an integrated living room and dining space, an air-conditioned bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and an outdoor shower with a large sunken bathtub. The beds are double or king-size and guests will find a satellite TV, a stereo set, an IDD telephone, broadband Internet access, a personal safety deposit box and a gourmet kitchen with a cooking stove, a microwave, a complimentary minibar/refrigerator that is restocked daily, and crockery and utensils. The property features an indulging spa facility with three double treatment rooms and a hot tub. Drawing inspiration from the healing properties of Chinese herbs and the intrinsic belief in metaphysical powers, the spa offers health and beauty therapies. There is a signature dining restaurant specialising in a menu of regional Chinese cuisine with a Western infusion. Open for lunch and dinner to in-house guests as well as the public, this stylishly appointed venue is sure to become the social melting pot for affluent members of the Nanjing community.
