It was comfortable. I would stay there again if I had to.
The only professional staff was Monique at front desk. I think that's her name. Black girl, dressed professionally and acted like a professional. The other staff needs to learn from her. I did not have a horrible experience or anything it would just help if all staff was professional. Our room was okay, I do not like the coffee maker (I hate Keurig) and the microwave was missing a turn plate. Other than that things were okay.
Breakfast was great. Lots of variety of items. Hot and cold items were great.
We asked for an earlier arrival time but actually never heard from hotel. We arrived approximately 1.5 hrs. after check in time. Check in was quick. Room was located on the 4th floor. There were no towels in the bathroom . Also the couch had a yellow stain that looked like vomit or urine. We did not sit on the cushions. I called the desk and the maid quickly brought towels. She explained that the stain was there for several weeks but even after washing the blue cushion, it could not be removed. She said that the stain was from silly putty slime. We could move to another room but it would take time. The grandchildren were eager to get to the pool, so we declined the move. Needless to say, this stay was not up to par. This is the 4th time that my family has stayed at Holiday Inn Express and the first time we had issues.
The cleanliness of the hotel. It was quite also and the breakfast selection was good.
The smell of the 3rd floor when I got off the elevator was not pleasant.
AWESOME hotel!!!! Clean room, comfortable beds. Hotel employee was great!!!! She is an outstanding staff member! We will definitely be back.
