10.0 Excellent
Pros: The comfy bed. The mirrors.
Cons: The tub filled while I was showering.
2.8 Mediocre
Cons: Room reeked of smoke, was dirty and outdated, and the unit next door held a party from 2-4 am with shouting and fighting that spilled over into the parking lot. On top of that, front desk was understaffed and slow, parking lot was crowded, and stairs to second floor unit was outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was nice loved my stay
Cons: Pan for oven
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was so shocked at how perfect everything was! The fireplace was incredible. We’ve never had one in a hotel before. It was so great to have a full kitchen to cook our meals instead of spending money. Amazing stove!!! We loved this hotel.
Cons: Literally the only thing was one of the glasses had white stuff all over it like it hadn’t been washed. But no biggie. They provide dish soap and sponge so we just washed everything before using it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was good
Cons: No free logs
6.0 Good
Pros: Good rate for a room with a full kitchen - Main lobby building and breakfast area was very nice with a nice outdoor patio. They accept pets.
Cons: Rooms are pet friendly, but they stick you in the back corner with the other pet owners - There is also a $75 charge for pets. Some of the residents who live long term at the Village Suites were a little sketchy. New Haven town is also a little sketchy - The only nice area we found was near the old Yale campus.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was friendly
Cons: Way overpriced. A terrible location. The hotel seems to have become in many respects a homeless shelter. The room next door to us had alarge family with about 30 large garbage bags outside the door. The mother cursing loudly at her children repeatedly.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Cleaniless and location.
Cons: The staff is atrocious. We, as a big family with 2 toddlers coming in later at night, we're drained and looking for respite for the night. We were nothing but kind and patience with the front office staff but they had nothing but frustration and attitude.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the ladies who you speak to before hand Tye, very helpful and kind. Lisa the young lady who checked us in to the breakfast each morning very delicious and plenty for everyone. Very clean lobby and the rooms very clean. So beautiful in each room. I had the penthouse suit and I couldn’t have been more happy. All the comforts of home. I absolutely love the new Haven suits. Everyone and everything was great. Thank you Ms. Foster
7.0 Good
Pros: Private entrance, decent breakfast, nice common areas
Cons: The only real bother with this room is that the heating unit was in the closet and would Malle a loud thud when it kicks on. Also a few stains on the bathroom floor. other than that its a decent value.

Pros: All of it
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent
Cons: Nothing
6.0 Good
Pros: The bed was very comfortable with nice linens and pillows. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially the waffles. We also enjoyed the complimentary popcorn.
Cons: The room was very clean and efficient, but the decor was a little "tired".
7.0 Good
Pros: Pool & Dinner was included, Perfectly wheelchair suitable,
6.7 Good
Pros: Spacious suite, room enough for 2 adults and 2 grown-up children; nice and relaxed atmosphere, everything we needed during this 2-nights stay!
5.2 Okay
Pros: Room, itself, was nice and it was quiet.
Cons: Although check-in is known to be at 3pm we arrived early from Norwalk area at 11am and then went to the front desk again ar 2pm and they never tried to be accomodating to us but just told us it was not guaranteeed until a 3pm arrival. The housekeep[ng staff should try to accomodate someone who is already at the locatiuon versus their traditional room-to-room approach. We did not get into the room until 3:15-3:30pm.When tyou pay over $200/nihgt, I'd lik ethe staff to try to be more accomodating.
7.2 Good
Pros: Room very confortable, nice breakfast, ideal for family
Cons: A little bit outside the city, no restaurants close by
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds, clean, nice kitchen everything needed was there, popcorn and candy jar, nice extras.
Cons: A/C unit was a little loud in the room.. Maintance room(locked door) could maybe be a little insulated to block noise.
6.0 Good
Pros: I loved the fact it had a warm and a cold pool. It was very pleasant to dive in after a long car journey. The room was very spatious.
Cons: The air-conditioning outside the room was very noisy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The complimentary hot breakfast and light evening meal.
Cons: It was an excellent choice, the only drawback being the location (a little out of the way and not close to food establishments) but we had a rental car so even that wasn't too much of a concern.

Pros: Location is the best to access Yale!
Cons: Bathroom tub/shower need work....a little pricey
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the proximity to the Yale athletic facilities! (We were there for a collegiate athletic event.)
Cons: I've stayed here many times over the last decade but not recently. The lobby is still great but the rooms and bathrooms are in need of some updating and sprucing. The bathroom is tired! There were bulbs out in some of the overhead lights in the room.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The room was clean
Cons: The NOISE of traffic all night long.It was SOO loud and yes they left earplugs on the nightstand but they did not help. The pillows all need to be replaced. The AC unit was making loud banging sounds and the be cover is too thin. Did not sleep at all.

Cons: it was a lit cigarette in my room before I even enter
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff location and service
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The comfortable bed the breakfast and the friendly staff
7.0 Good
Pros: Convenient to highway (I-91) exit; spacious room; firm mattress (though a bit too high, even for a 6-4er).
Cons: Very noisy neighbors; weed odors throughout corridors and a down-market clientele contribute to a "seedy" aura that belied good upkeep. The breakfast was adequate but should include fresh fruit (apples, oranges, bananas -- something).
7.0 Good
Pros: Housekeeping was very helpful. When I needed something, it didn't take a long time.
Cons: There was a issue with bugs. It was taken care of, just made me feel weird. There was also a problem with people smoking weed. That smell came into my room and at that time ... I did call the front. I assume it was handled because the scent did leave.

Pros: Smoking rooms available
Cons: Too expensive
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Price.
Cons: It was not very clean. It's cheap but still cleanliness should me maintained no matter what.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The staff is racist. The room was dirty and filthy they put us in a room where there was no heat. The room I was sent looked abandoned and it was terrible. I would give the place no stars it was that terrible. I can’t believe the service it was horrible.
5.0 Okay
Cons: There were roaches. The place is Bates Motel-esque, so might have been nice if it were a few decades ago. There is no breakfast - that’s false advertising and probably should be removed from their listing. Expect a bed and shower and not much else; but really, what else are you expecting for the price? It’s a budget option.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Near 15 highway
Cons: Blanket not clean
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The only thing good about this place is the price
Cons: The cleanliness of the driveway the lighting in the stairwells the breakfast was cold the bagels and the toast were hard
5.4 Okay
Pros: Easy to reach from the highway, helpful and friendly front desk. Basically a motel that once may have had its charm. Not far from the city center and Yale University. Heating was working ok and the water in the bathroom was hot.
Cons: There was no breakfast, although it had been included in the booking. The wifi was not connection well. Everything seemed quite run down and would have required renovation long time ago. Really basic and nothing great to expect.
7.0 Good
Pros: Couldn’t get much needed services of the staff when requested.
Cons: Accommodation due to CODVID-19
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Liars It says there is a breakfast but there is none
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: There’s nothing to like. That 2.5 rating is too high. It’s more like a 0 from me.
Cons: This place is disgusting! Everything on site was dirty and broken. The room was just nasty! There were cigarette burns on the mattress and linen. I couldn’t tell when last housekeeping made it out there. Our doorknob was pretty much hanging on by a thread, you could literally see into the door and some of the outside. We did have 15 minutes to decline and get a refund, but unfortunately for us every single hotel was booked because of parents weekend at Yale. So we were stuck. The neighborhood is shady as hell and even the staff is afraid of the people around there. Whoever owns this place couldn’t give a f*** about it or the people who will have to stay here. That’s evident throughout the property.

Pros: I liked that it was updated and still being worked on.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had beautiful styled rooms that were very clean. Overall the whole hotel had a clean atmosphere and environment
Cons: I would give this hotel Ten Stars, but unfortunately one very important thing they lacked was hot water. I could not have a nice hot water shower that I looked forward to on my long road trip there. In the morning tried again, still no hot water.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff extremely accommodating.
Cons: In the middle of my shower on the second day the water turned cold while I was in the middle of showering. Not happy about that since I was covered in soap.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast!! Staff is amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people, the cleanliness, the proximity to the places I needed to visit, the proximity to great restaurants.
Cons: The bed pillows were my only disappointment. All four pillows were of the same firmness. I would have preferred the opportunity to choose the pillow/s that suited my needs/comfort, and that would be the addition of a softer pillow. It is my experience when traveling that both firm and softer are provided for each bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The expected standard. Clean, comfortable, bed, linens, towels ect all clean and in expected condition. Breakfast was ready and well maintained and staff very helpful!!
Cons: Price seems a bit high but that may just be CT?

Pros: Clean, friendly staff. Nice and quiet.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: There was sticky bug/mice strips under the cereal machine, shriveled up fruit not fresh. The bed had stains and burn holes in blanket. The only thing I enjoyed was I could park right outside of the room.
Cons: Refrigerator was unplugged and omitting a damp musty odor. When I turn on the heater a moldy Oder filled the room. The rugs were so dirty I couldn’t walk without shoes in the room. The cabinet door that hides the refrigerator was broken. On the second evening of stay as I returned from my business I came to my door, noticed my “do not disturb “ sign was on the ground. I went to pick it up and noticed my hotel door was open about 3 inches. I backed away and went to the man at the front desk. He said he would check it out and we both went back to the room. No one was in the room but I asked him how could my door be open? Is the lock on it broken? He said no it was probably just the housekeeper who didn’t pull the door tight. Looking back I should have left there and then. Thinking about it later, and I did tell the man at the desk the next morning, I left a do not disturb sign out even if they didn’t see it (because it fell off) and went in to do housekeeping, why was the trash not emptied, clean towels replaced or just make the bed. But none of that was done. So it had to be either the lock on the door was broken which compromised my safety or someone helped themselves in to my room (not to clean it) and forgot to shut the door. Either way I’m mad at myself for not leaving ASAP.

Pros: Convenient to highway (I-91) exit; spacious room; firm mattress (though a bit too high, even for a 6-4er).

7.0 Good
Pros: Housekeeping was very helpful. When I needed something, it didn't take a long time.
Cons: There was a issue with bugs. It was taken care of, just made me feel weird. There was also a problem with people smoking weed. That smell came into my room and at that time ... I did call the front. I assume it was handled because the scent did leave.
